NCT01009112
Exposure to trauma, especially when it manifests as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), results in numerous negative consequences for patients, families, and society. Some of the most frequent, disturbing, and treatment resistant symptoms of PTSD are nightmares and insomnia. This study will examine whether treatments specifically targeted at those sleep disorders can improve clinical outcomes and increase health-related quality of life in individuals recently exposed to war-related trauma. Hypotheses are that treating nightmares and insomnia will improve both nighttime and daytime symptoms of PTSD, as well as quality of life.

NCT02321774
Monitor stress response in a virtual reality environment using a wearable sensor to analyze and track heart rate variability (HRV).
NCT01218009
This is a one-year study to look at the safety of a dry powder inhaler with albuterol. After a one-week run in, for the first 3 months subjects will use an inhaler with either albuterol or a dummy drug at regular times four times a day. Then for the last nine months of the study, all subjects will be given the albuterol dry powder inhaler and will use it only when needed to help with breathing problems. Subjects will need to keep a daily diary (both paper and electronic) throughout the study recording any inhaler use and health problems. There will be visits to the study doctor about once a month for a year. This study is intended to show that the albuterol dry powder inhaler works well and is safe for use over a long period of time.
NCT01600209
The objective of this study is to confirm the sensitivity and specificity of a stool DNA test for detection of colorectal cancer and pre-cancer.
NCT02312050
A phase 2b, placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, multi-center study of GCS-100 in patients with chronic kidney disease caused by diabetes. The study will enroll approximately 375 patients at multiple centers located in the United States. Study duration is 6 months. Patients will be randomly assigned 1:1:1:1 to treatment with placebo (0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP), 1 mg, 3 mg, or 9 mg GCS-100. All doses of study drug will be administered via intravenous (IV) push injection once weekly for 2 months (8 weeks), then every other week for an additional 4 months (16 weeks).
NCT00108004
This open-label, multicenter study is designed to investigate the clinical utility and safety of pramlintide treatment in subjects with type 1 and type 2 diabetes who are failing to achieve the desired level of glycemic control using insulin therapy.
NCT02141269
A new hand held pocket echo device (GE Vscan) has now become available to clinicians, with limited data available comparing the effectiveness of this device as a screening tool when compared to traditional transthoracic echocardiography (TTE). The investigators are evaluating the effectiveness of this hand-held echo (HHE) device in detecting cardiac pathology in a both an inpatient and outpatient clinical setting as compared to a comprehensive TTE evaluation.
NCT00918138
The purpose of this study was to compare effect of Saxagliptin as add-on to Metformin on 24-hour mean weighted glucose (MWG) to the effect of uptitrating Metformin in subjects with T2DM inadequately controlled on metformin alone.
NCT01379534
This is a prospective, multi-center, open-label, single-arm, non-randomized, Phase II study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TKI258 as second-line therapy in patients with either FGFR2 mutated or wild-type advanced and/or metastatic endometrial cancer.
NCT00003325
RATIONALE: Lymphatic mapping may improve the ability to detect cancer of the vulva. PURPOSE: This phase III trial is studying how well lymphatic mapping works in treating patients with stage I or stage II cancer of the vulva.
NCT01739595
The purpose of ZA-302 is to determine the effects of Androxal on morning testosterone and reproductive status in younger overweight men with acquired hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (confirmed morning T\<300 ng/dL) and normal sperm concentration, compared to changes with placebo. Subjects must not have previously been treated with testosterone products within the last 6 months.

NCT00894504
In this Phase II trial, the investigators will evaluate the combination of gemcitabine, carboplatin, and panitumumab in the treatment of patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer. In addition, to assess the efficacy of this combination, tumor tissue will be examined for the presence of various markers, including K-ras and PI3K-activating mutations, EGFR, PTEN, and p53. Correlation of tumor response with marker expression may define a patient subset that is particularly responsive to treatment with a panitumumab-containing combination.
NCT00938860
This study will assess the rates of Sustained Virological Response following anti-viral therapy with Peg-Interferon plus Ribavirin in patients that have been liver transplanted with recurrent Hepatitis C and treated with Neoral or tacrolimus.
