NCT01672853
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether simtuzumab (GS-6624) is effective at preventing the progression of liver fibrosis in adults with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).
NCT01434706
The investigators propose to study the impact of nucleic acid amplification testing (NAT) screening for acute Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Hepatitis C (HCV) infections and Less-Sensitive Enzyme linked Immunoassay (LS-EIA) or 'detuned' testing Vironostika, Trinity Biotech BED, or Ortho-Clinical Diagnostic Vistros ECi for early HIV infection in conjunction with routine rapid HIV testing at HIV counseling and testing sites and venues in the San Diego county. The overarching goal of this study is to develop and implement a system to identify, notify and engage into care those individuals with recent HIV infection in order to better define the HIV and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) epidemics in the San Diego county and to evaluate and characterize HIV transmission dynamics within the San Diego population.
NCT02637557
The objectives of this study are to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and dose-response relationship of IW-3718 administered orally to participants who have GERD and continue to experience GERD symptoms while receiving once-daily (QD), standard-dose proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).
NCT02648204
This trial is conducted in Asia, Europe and the United States of America (USA). The aim of the trial is to investigate efficacy and safety of semaglutide versus dulaglutide as add-on to metformin in subjects with type 2 diabetes.
NCT02263326
HIV-1 infected subjects with CD4 nadir \> 200 cells/mm3, no history of virologic failure and plasma HIV RNA \<50 copies/mL for at least 48 weeks while on any United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) recommended or alternative three-drug antiretroviral regimen will be randomized to dolutegravir (DTG) plus lamivudine (Arm 1) or continuation of their current regimen (Arm 2) for 48 weeks. The primary endpoint is virologic failure defined as confirmed plasma HIV-1 RNA \> 50 copies/mL before or at Week 24
NCT03303170
Prospective, randomized, controlled, parallel group clinical study with blinded assessment evaluating Sebacia Microparticles (SM) with Nd:Yag laser in facial inflammatory acne vulgaris
NCT02760602
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the safety and efficacy of the study drug solanezumab in participants with prodromal Alzheimer's disease (AD).
NCT03356977
This 4-week study will evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and efficacy of crisaborole ointment 2%, applied twice daily (BID) in subjects who are 3 months to less than 24 months of age with mild-to-moderate AD.
NCT02247531
This study is a Phase III, double-masked, multicenter, randomized, sham injection-controlled study evaluating the efficacy and safety of lampalizumab administered by intravitreal injections in participants with geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
NCT03232333
This study will assess the ability of MIRODERM to heal difficult diabetic foot ulcers within 12 weeks of treatment.
NCT03100344
Assess the efficacy of several subcutaneous doses of nemolizumab in moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) subjects with severe pruritus receiving TCS, who were not adequately controlled with topical treatments.
NCT02371746
This is a multiple cohort study that will evaluate the safety and efficacy of ENV515 travoprost XR in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
NCT02987972
This study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of two different lots of V114 in healthy infants 6 to 12 weeks (\>=42 days to \<=90 days) of age. The primary hypothesis of the study is that the proportion of participants receiving V114 who have serotype specific IgG \>=0.35 mcg/mL for each of pneumococcal serotypes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, and 23F at 1 month after Dose 3 is non-inferior to that for recipients of Prevnar 13™.
NCT02034916
The purpose of this 2-stage, 2-cohort Phase 2 trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of talazoparib (also known as BMN 673) in subjects with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer with a deleterious germline BRCA 1 or BRCA 2 mutation. Subjects will be assigned to either Cohort 1 or 2 based on prior chemotherapy for metastatic disease: * Cohort 1) Subjects with a documented PR or CR to a prior platinum-containing regimen for metastatic disease with disease progression \> 8 weeks following the last dose of platinum; or * Cohort 2) Subjects who have received \> 2 prior chemotherapy regimens for metastatic disease and who have had no prior platinum therapy for metastatic disease
NCT00866333

NCT00107172
This randomized phase III trial studies surgery and internal radiation therapy to see how well they work compared to surgery alone in treating patients with stage I non-small cell lung cancer. Surgery may be an effective treatment for non-small cell lung cancer. Internal radiation uses radioactive material placed directly into or near a tumor to kill tumor cells. It is not yet known whether surgery and internal radiation therapy are more effective than surgery alone in treating non-small cell lung cancer.
