NCT02234583
This is an open-label study of DS-5565 in subjects who either completed participation in a preceding Phase 3 study of DS-5565 in fibromyalgia (FM); i.e. DS5565-A-E309 (NCT02146430), DS5565-A-E310 (NCT02187471), or DS5565-A-E311 (NCT02187159) or are de novo subjects. Eligible subjects will be assigned to receive open-label DS-5565 for 52 weeks. All subjects will receive DS-5565 15 mg once daily (QD) for the first three weeks of the treatment period. After three weeks, subjects may be titrated to 15 mg twice daily (BID) based on protocol-specified criteria.

NCT00752856
CCTG 589 is a randomized, open-label, pilot study comparing the efficacy, safety and tolerability of RAL plus LPV/r to EFV plus TDF/FTC in HIV-infected, treatment-naïve subjects. Subjects will be ineligible if they have any evidence of drug resistant virus in the past or at the time of screening (if never previously tested). Those who are found to be eligible will be randomized 1:1 to initiate either LPV/r (400/100 mg) plus RAL (400mg), both given twice-daily, or fixed dose combination of EFV (600 mg), TDF (300 mg) and FTC (200 mg) given as once-daily Atripla® for 48 weeks. Hypotheses 1. The novel nucleoside-sparing combination of LPV/r + RAL will have a faster phase 1 viral decay rate compared to standard-of-care therapy with EFV/TDF/FTC in antiretroviral-naïve patients. 1. Faster phase 1 viral decay dynamics will be associated with improved longer-term (week 48) viral suppression. 2. Faster phase 1 viral decay dynamics will be associated with accelerated early (Day 0-14) clearance of cell-associated HIV DNA. 3. Faster phase 1 viral decay dynamics will be associated with greater early (baseline to week 12) CD4+ T-cell recovery. 2. The LPV/r + RAL arm will have greater decreases in early (baseline to week 4) CD4/CD8 T-cell immune activation and apoptosis which will be associated with greater late (week 12 to week 48) CD4+ T-cell recovery. 3. Subjects treated with LPV/r + RAL arm will have smaller changes in total cholesterol and triglycerides from baseline than those receiving EFV/TDF/FTC.
NCT03821948
The primary objective of this study is to collect de-identified, clinically-characterized stool and whole blood specimens for use in developing and evaluating the performance of new biomarker assays for detection of colorectal cancer (CRC).
NCT01962987
To compare the relative efficacy and safety of the test formulation diclofenac sodium gel 3% (Actavis) to the marketed formulation Solaraze® (diclofenac sodium) Gel 3% (Fougera Pharms) in the treatment of the actinic keratosis
NCT02205528
This trial is conducted in the United States of America (USA). The aim of the trial is to investigate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of once-daily subcutaneous (SC) injections of NNC0090-2746 for 12 weeks, as an adjunct to metformin, in participants with T2D.
NCT02412371
This study seeks to establish * the recommended Phase 2 dose (RPTD) of veliparib in combination with concurrent paclitaxel/carboplatin-based chemoradiotherapy (CRT) and consolidation with paclitaxel/carboplatin-based chemotherapy (Phase 1 portion), and * to assess whether the addition of oral veliparib versus placebo to paclitaxel/carboplatin-based chemoradiotherapy with paclitaxel/carboplatin consolidation will improve progression-free survival (PFS) in adults with Stage III non-small cell lung cancer (Phase 2 portion). A strategy decision was made not to proceed to Phase 2 portion of this study due to change in standard of care.
NCT01839487
This study is designed to compare the treatment effect of PEGPH20 combined with nab-paclitaxel (NAB) and gemcitabine (GEM) \[PAG\] to NAB and GEM \[AG\] in participants with Stage IV previously untreated pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA). The study will have 2 run-in phases, one for each formulation of PEGPH20 (original and new formulations), and a Phase 2 portion. The 2 run-in phases will evaluate the safety and tolerability of the PAG treatment using the original and new succinic acid PEGPH20 formulation, respectively, compared with AG treatment. Phase 2 will have 2 stages due to a partial clinical hold that occurred from April through July 2014. The participants will be randomized in 3:1 for the run-in phases. The first stage will randomize participants in a 1:1 ratio. The second stage will randomize participants in a 2:1 ratio (PAG:AG). This is an open-label study. To minimize bias to the progression-free survival endpoint, disease progression will be based on the assessment of the Central Imaging Reader (CIR). Determination of clinical progression by the Investigator without corresponding CIR confirmation will be documented with the relevant signs and symptoms.
NCT03026166
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of rovalpituzumab tesirine administered in combination with nivolumab or nivolumab and ipilimumab in participants with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC).

NCT02641158
Primary Objective: This study will evaluate the effectiveness of an HCV Care Facilitation intervention in moving HIV/HCV co-infected substance users forward along the HCV care continuum (compared with a Control group). Primary Hypothesis: The number of steps achieved along the HCV care continuum will differ between the two study groups over the 14-month follow-up period. Secondary Objectives: Component 1 (Long-term CTN 0049 follow-up): Using the CTN 0064 baseline data (self-report, medical record abstraction and biological data), the following CTN 0049 primary and secondary outcomes in participants who consented to the CTN 0064 protocol will be re-analyzed to evaluate latent and/or enduring effects of the CTN 0049 interventions: 1. HIV virological suppression 2. HIV primary care visit attendance 3. All-cause mortality
