NCT02398188
This is a multi-center, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study evaluating the safety and efficacy of LIPO-202 for the reduction of central abdominal bulging due to subcutaneous fat in non-obese subjects.
NCT01987609
Dendritic cells are a key component of the inflammatory response seen in psoriasis. Several current psoriasis therapies have been shown to reduce the number of dendritic cells in patients with psoriasis, leading researchers to believe that therapies specifically targeting dendritic cells may lead to improvement in psoriasis. Research recently conducted in Dr. Gallo's lab at the University of California San Diego has shown that transgenic mice overexpressing the enzyme hyaluronidase have a significant decrease in the number of dendritic cells in the dermal component of their skin compared to wild type mice. If hyaluronidase overexpression in humans also decreases the number of dendritic cells in the dermis, then hyaluronidase therapy may improve the clinical presentation of psoriasis. In order to test this hypothesis, recombinant human hyaluronidase (Hylenex®) will be injected subcutaneously below a psoriatic plaque in human psoriasis patients every week for a total of 4 weeks. Each week the clinical appearance of the plaque will be documented. At the final visit skin biopsies of the treated plaque will be taken to visualize the histology of the plaque and look for changes in expression of different inflammatory markers.
NCT01144637
A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III trial to evaluate immunogenicity and safety of three consecutive production lots of IMVAMUNE® (MVA-BN®) smallpox vaccine in healthy, vaccinia-naïve subjects.
NCT03331523
This is a phase III, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel- group, multiple-site study to evaluate the therapeutic equivalence of generic calcipotriene and betamethasone dipropionate topical suspension, 0.005%/0.064% of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd to that of the marketed product Taclonex® topical suspension of Leo Pharma Inc. in the treatment of scalp psoriasis.
NCT01544595
This was an extension study of secukinumab prefilled syringes in subjects with moderate to severe chronic plaque-type psoriasis completing preceding psoriasis phase III studies with secukinumab. Subjects on secukinumab at the end of treatment period in phase III studies (e.g., ongoing CAIN457A2302 and CAIN457A2303 and potentially other secukinumab phase III studies) were eligible to join this extension study. This extension study was planned to collect an additional 2 years of long-term efficacy, safety, and tolerability data of secukinumab in either continuous or interrupted therapy (randomized withdrawal period) in subjects showing at least partial response to secukinumab and completing treatment period on secukinumab in previous phase III studies. In this extension study, the prefilled syringe (PFS) liquid formulation of secukinumab were used.
NCT02736955
This Phase 3b, rollover study will provide participants who completed a Phase 3 valbenazine (NBI-98854) study open-label access to valbenazine (fixed doses administered once daily) for the treatment of adults with TD until valbenazine is anticipated to be available commercially or they complete 72 weeks of treatment. This study will allow enrollment of up to 150 medically stable male and female participants with TD who previously participated in and completed the NBI-98854-1304 (Kinect 3) or NBI-98854-1402 (Kinect 4) Phase 3 study.
NCT00960440
This study will test if CP-690,550 is safe and effective in rheumatoid arthritis patients taking methotrexate who have an inadequate response to tumor necrosis factor inhibitor treatment.
NCT00245206
This study will compare four atypical antipsychotic medications in terms of the risk of specific side effects each of them presents in middle-aged and elderly individuals.
NCT02403271
This is a Phase 1b/2, multi-center study to assess the safety and efficacy of ibrutinib in combination with durvalumab (MEDI4736) in participants with relapsed or refractory solid tumors.
NCT01802333
This randomized phase III trial studies cytarabine and daunorubicin hydrochloride or idarubicin and cytarabine with or without vorinostat to see how well they work in treating younger patients with previously untreated acute myeloid leukemia. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cytarabine, daunorubicin hydrochloride, idarubicin, and vorinostat, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, stopping them from dividing, or by stopping from spreading. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) and giving the drugs in different doses and in different combinations may kill more cancer cells. It is not yet known which combination chemotherapy is more effective in treating acute myeloid leukemia.
NCT01214668
The goal of this study is to determine the dose of LY573636-sodium (hereafter referred to as LY573636) that can be administered safely in combination with liposomal doxorubicin in patients with advanced cancer who have failed a prior treatment. The study consists of a dose escalation phase to the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and a dose confirmation phase in patients with platinum resistant epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer who have never been treated with doxorubicin.
NCT03087877
The objective of the study is to demonstrate effectiveness of the G6 sensor membrane, in preventing acetaminophen's interference effect on glucose sensing.
NCT02744755
Clinical trial to compare treatment with GP2017 and Humira® in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis
NCT00316589
The purpose of this study is to gather information on the safety and immunogenicity of an investigational smallpox vaccine in HIV infected populations. Subjects will receive two vaccinations
NCT02245412
The objectives of this trial were to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) and efficacy of intravenous (IV) ALXN1007 in participants with acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) of the lower gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
NCT03234439
Chronic pain is becoming increasingly more prevalent worldwide. High rates of co-morbid psychological distress are also commonly found among individuals living with chronic pain. Often requiring a multi-modal treatment approach, a growing body of literature suggests that digital behavioral health interventions and tools may serve as promising complementary options to help individuals cope with the pain.
NCT02424227
This is a prospective, multicenter, observational study of kidney transplant subjects where blood specimens, intended for dd-cfDNA and other future research purposes, will be drawn after transplant
NCT01396551
Clinical study investigating the feasibility and safety of using an anchored Calypso transponder in the airways of the lung for real-time monitoring of tumor location during radiotherapy
