NCT06002048
The study will collect a cross-sectional dataset of 4000 people across the US from diverse racial/ethnic groups who are either 1) healthy, or 2) belong in one of the three stages of diabetes severity (pre-diabetes/diet controlled, oral medication and/or non-insulin-injectable medication controlled, or insulin dependent), forming a total of four groups of patients. Clinical data (social determinants of health surveys, continuous glucose monitoring data, biomarkers, genetic data, retinal imaging, cognitive testing, etc.) will be collected. The purpose of this project is data generation to allow future creation of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) algorithms aimed at defining disease trajectories and underlying genetic links in different racial/ethnic cohorts. A smaller subgroup of participants will be invited to come for a follow-up visit in year 4 of the project (longitudinal arm of the study). Data will be placed in an open-source repository and samples will be sent to the study sample repository and used for future research.
NCT06586281
While many studies examine Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), little is known about its progression to high-risk nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in PsA patients. Shared disease mechanisms may explain the increased severity in PsA. This study involves two visits from PsA patients with NAFLD and active disease signs (e.g., swollen joint, enthesitis, or psoriatic plaque). It aims to assess the impact of biological therapies on liver disorders, joints, and skin in PsA patients.
NCT04827355
This 12 week biomarker targeted double blind randomized controlled trial (RCT) will enroll subjects with salivary pepsin positive laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) to assess efficacy of the external upper esophageal sphincter (UES) compression device, also known as the Reflux Band. Subjects will be randomized to one of two arms: control or experimental. Following the 8 week intervention period subjects in both arms will continue in a 4 week unblinded period. The primary hypothesis is that a significantly higher proportion of subjects in the experimental arm will meet the primary endpoint for symptom response, compared to subjects in the control arm.

NCT05439616
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) consists of deficits in social, communication, and cognitive development, repetitive and stereotypic behaviors. Many ASD patients show notably high levels of irritability, including verbal and physical aggression, self injury, and/or property destruction. Autistic infants tend to avoid eye contact and show little interest in others. This study will assess how safe and effective cariprazine is in treating pediatric participants (5 to 17 years of age) with ASD. Adverse events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Cariprazine is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of irritability due to ASD. This study is double-blinded means that neither the participants nor the study doctors will know who will be given cariprazine and who will be given placebo (does not contain treatment drug). Study doctors put the participants in 1 of the 2 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 2 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Approximately 152 participants diagnosed with ASD will be enrolled in approximately 40 sites globally. Participants will receive oral capsules or oral solution of cariprazine or placebo once daily for 8-weeks and will undergo a 4-week safety follow-up period. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.

NCT01415752
RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Others interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as bendamustine hydrochloride, also work in different ways to kill cancer cells or stop them from dividing. Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Lenalidomide may stop the growth of mantle cell lymphoma by blocking blood flow to the cancer. It is not yet known whether giving rituximab together with bendamustine and bortezomib is more effective than rituximab and bendamustine, followed by rituximab alone or with lenalidomide in treating mantle cell lymphoma. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial studies rituximab, bortezomib, bendamustine, and lenalidomide in treating previously untreated older patients with mantle cell lymphoma.
NCT05030311

NCT06007183
The purpose of this phase 3 multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled rollover study is to evaluate the safety and long-term immunogenicity of CHIKV VLP vaccine in adult and adolescent participants and to evaluate CHIKV VLP booster vaccine induced serum neutralizing antibody (SNA) response at 3, 4, or 5 years post-initial CHIKV VLP vaccination.
NCT02620046
The main aim of the study is to check for long-term side effects of Vedolizumab Subcutaneous (also known as Vedolizumab SC) in people with ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease (CD). Vedolizumab SC will be given as an injection just under the skin. This type of injection is called a subcutaneous injection or SC for short. Another aim of the study is to collect information on whether the participant's condition remains under control or improves during and after treatment with Vedolizumab SC. Participants who previously took part in studies MLN0002SC-3027 or MLN0002SC-3031 will be invited to visit the study clinic. At this visit, the study doctor will check if each participant can take part in this study. For those who can take part, participants will receive a subcutaneous injection of vedolizumab SC either once a week or once every 2 weeks. How often each participant receives vedolizumab SC will depend on their results from the previous study and on how active their condition is. Participants might be able to self-inject vedolizumab SC after being trained by the study doctors. During this study, the dose of vedolizumab SC might be increased for participants whose condition worsens. Participants will continue treatment with vedolizumab SC until it is approved in their particular country, the participant decides to stop treatment, or the sponsor stops the study. If the sponsor stops the study before vedolizumab SC is approved in all countries, the sponsor will make sure all affected participants will have access to vedolizumab SC outside of the study. After their final dose of vedolizumab SC, participants will visit the clinic 18 weeks later for a final check-up. Then, the clinic will telephone the participants 6 months after their final dose of vedolizumab SC to check if they have any health problems.
NCT05206357
The most common types of mature B-cell lymphomas (MBLs) in children are Burkitt lymphoma (BL) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Initial treatment cures 90% - 95% of children with these malignancies, leaving a very small population of relapsed/refractory disease with a poor prognosis. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of epcoritamab in pediatric participants with relapsed/refractory aggressive mature B-cell neoplasms and young adult participants with Burkitt's or Burkitt-like lymphoma/leukemia. Adverse events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Epcoritamab is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of relapsed/refractory aggressive mature B-cell neoplasms. Participants will receive subcutaneous (SC) of epcoritamab. Approximately 15 pediatric participants with a diagnosis of relapsed/refractory aggressive mature B-cell neoplasms and and young adult participants, ages of 18-25, with a diagnosis of Burkitt's or Burkitt-like lymphoma/leukemia will be enrolled at 50 sites globally. Participants will receive subcutaneous epcoritamab in 28-day cycles. Participants will be followed for a minimum of 3 years after enrollment. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at an approved institution (hospital or clinic). The effect of the treatment will be frequently checked by medical assessments, blood tests, questionnaires and side effects.
