NCT00334815
This clinical trial studies combination chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and bevacizumab in treating patients with newly diagnosed stage III non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, etoposide, and docetaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of \[cancer/tumor\] cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Bevacizumab may also stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) together with radiation therapy and bevacizumab may kill more tumor cells.
NCT06369298
This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multiple dose study to assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of JK07 in participants aged 18-85 with heart failure. There will be 2 cohorts in this study: Cohort 1: Heart failure (HF) participants with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of ≤ 40%. Cohort 2: Heart failure (HF) participants with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) \> 40% and ≤ 65%.
NCT04057573
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ruxolitinib cream in adolescent and adult participants with non-segmental vitiligo for whom total body involved vitiligo area (facial and nonfacial) does not exceed 10% body surface area (BSA).
NCT04617002
This is an intermediate-size expanded access protocol to provide ONC201 (dordaviprone) to patients with H3 K27M-mutant and/or midline gliomas who cannot access ONC201 (dordaviprone) through clinical trials.
NCT04932096
Sleep wake disturbances compound recovery in over half of pediatric traumatic brain injury survivors, leading to impaired quality of life, and few effective interventions exist to treat this important morbidity. Therefore, this study will conduct a randomized controlled trial evaluating a melatonin intervention started during hospitalization and continued after discharge compared to placebo. The trial will investigate if this intervention is feasible, acceptable, and effective at reducing sleep wake disturbances as measured on the Sleep Disturbances Scale for Children 1-month after hospital discharge. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive the intervention (melatonin) or to the control group (placebo) with a goal of equal numbers of participants in each group and all will receive sleep education. Participants will be followed closely after consent and outcomes will be assessed at hospital discharge, and 1-month. Outcomes will focus on feasibility (ability to recruit patients into the trial) and acceptability (patient safety and satisfaction), but will also assess the effectiveness of the intervention to reduce sleep disturbances after discharge. The investigators will assess sleep using questionnaires and actigraphy (watch-like activity monitors). Exploratory outcomes will include global health outcomes.
NCT04890054
This study collects information to provide a model for how to rapidly adapt and scale-up multilevel interventions through clinic-health plan partnerships to reduce the burden of colorectal cancer (CRC) on the United states population. This study may improve colorectal cancer screening rates, follow-up colonoscopy, and referral to care in rural Medicaid patients.
NCT04847557
The main purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of Tirzepatide (LY3298176) in participants with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and obesity.
NCT03850782
This study evaluates the duration of intraocular pressure (IOP)-lowering effect and safety of as needed administrations of Bimatoprost sustained release (SR) in participants with open-angle glaucoma (OAG) or ocular hypertension (OHT) who are not adequately managed with topical IOP-lowering medication for reasons other than medication efficacy.
NCT04199000
The purpose of this research is to study the natural history of congenital disorders of glycosylation and its causes and treatments.
NCT04702243
The investigators will utilize a systematic approach for the diagnostic evaluation of patients to identify characteristics which may distinguish between Primary Immunodeficiency (PID) disorders versus Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD).
NCT04202965
This study will be conducted at multiple sites and every patient will get treated with PTG-300. The objective of the study is to assess the effect of PTG-300 in treating adult hereditary hemochromatosis patients.
NCT05984290
The objective of this orthokeratology study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Arise Orthokeratology Lens with non-spherical posterior peripheral curves
NCT04053634
Phase 3 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a benralizumab in patients with moderate to very severe COPD with a history of frequent COPD exacerbations and elevated peripheral blood eosinophils (≥300/μL). Eligible patients must have a history of ≥2 moderate and/or severe COPD exacerbations in the previous year despite receiving triple (ICS/LABA/LAMA) background therapy for at least 3 months and ICS-based dual inhaled treatment for the remainder of the year. Eligible patients must also have an elevated blood eosinophil count. The treatment period will be of variable duration and will continue until the last patient has the opportunity to complete a minimum of 56 weeks, at which point all patients will complete the study. The primary endpoint will be analyzed at Week 56.
NCT04015622
The purpose of this study is to assess the strategy in treatment selection using ctDNA fraction as a predictive biomarker to direct treatment decision (ctDNA fraction \<2% receives enzalutamide, and ctDNA fraction ≥2% receives docetaxel) versus clinician's choice of enzalutamide or docetaxel, in subjects with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer post abiraterone setting.
NCT06832410
This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of VX-880 in participants with Type 1 Diabetes (TID) with a kidney transplant.
NCT05601453
Patients with severe aortic stenosis (sAS) treated with transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) (increasingly younger \& lower risk pts) are experiencing SVD of the index THV and thus developing an indication for a redo-TAVI procedure. The evidence on redo-TAVI (where a transcatheter heart valve \[THV\] is implanted into another THV) is limited, with initial data showing acceptable safety as well efficacy in highly selected and limited populations. Aim is to evaluate short- and long-term data on patients undergoing transcatheter redo-TAVI procedures with THVs for failure of a previously implanted THV and to determine VARC-3 defined efficacy and safety at 30 days and functional outcome at 1 year, 3 years and 5 years.
NCT04052425
NCT07140926
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if a mobile health app called Recovery Connect can help people stay in treatment for opioid use disorder. The study is being done with adults receiving medication-assisted treatment in outpatient opioid treatment programs. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does Recovery Connect increase the number of people who remain in treatment after 30 days? Does Recovery Connect improve continuity of care during the first month of treatment? Researchers are using a stepped-wedge design, which means that all participating clinics will eventually use the app, but they will begin at different time points in a randomized order. This allows researchers to compare outcomes before and after each clinic starts using Recovery Connect. Participants will: Use the Recovery Connect app for daily check-ins, coping strategies, and reminders to support their recovery Share progress and risk information through the app so counselors can provide timely, personalized support Work with treatment teams trained to use the app to guide care and reinforce accountability
NCT04693351
The study's purpose its to evaluate the efficacy and safety of troriluzole as adjunctive therapy compared to placebo in subjects with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
NCT05059444
The purpose of ORACLE is to demonstrate the ability of a novel ctDNA assay developed by Guardant Health to detect recurrence in individuals treated for early-stage solid tumors. It is necessary that ctDNA test results are linked to clinical outcomes in order to demonstrate clinical validity for recurrence detection and explore its value in a healthcare environment subject to cost containment.
