NCT00499707
The purpose of this 32 week study is to demonstrate that fixed-dose combination treatment with rosiglitazone/metformin will safely and effectively control glycemia as first line oral therapy in subjects type 2 diabetes. The primary objective of the study is to demonstrate superiority of rosiglitazone/metformin compared to its rosiglitazone and metformin.
NCT00067951
The purpose of this research study is to determine if a new investigational diabetes drug is safe and effective in treating people who have Type II diabetes mellitus with very high HbA1c or FPG (fasting plasma glucose) levels. The HbA1c test, also called the hemoglobin A1c test or glycated hemoglobin test, is a measurement of the average amount of sugar in the blood over the last 2 to 3 months. FPG is a test that measures the amount of sugar in the blood after an 8 hour fast.
NCT00810888
The purpose of this study is to determine if computed tomography angiography can predict which individuals with intracerebral hemorrhage will experience significant growth in the size of the hemorrhage. For individuals who are at high risk for hemorrhage growth, the study will compare the drug recombinant activated factor VII (rFVIIa) to placebo to determine the effect of rFVIIa on intracerebral hemorrhage growth.
NCT01689246
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of TRx0237 in the treatment of subjects with mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease.
NCT01689233
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of TRx0237 in the treatment of subjects with mild Alzheimer's Disease.
NCT01610245
This study is a global multicenter randomized factorial double-blind, placebo-controlled trial designed to evaluate (i) efficacy and safety of nitazoxanide 600 mg administered orally twice daily for five days compared to a placebo in the treatment of acute uncomplicated influenza and (ii) efficacy and safety of combination therapy with nitazoxanide 600 mg plus Oseltamivir 75 mg co-administered orally twice daily for five days compared to nitazoxanide monotherapy (600 mg b.i.d. for 5 days) and Oseltamivir monotherapy (75 mg b.i.d. for 5 days) in the treatment of acute uncomplicated influenza.
NCT01397825
This is a single-arm, open-label, multicenter, dose escalation, phase 1-2 study of alisertib (MLN8237) administered in patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL)/transformed follicular lymphoma (TFL) treated with rituximab and vincristine. The study has three parts as follows: Phase 1, Part 1: Safety lead-in cohort to evaluate alisertib (MLN8237) and rituximab. Phase 1, Part 2: Dose escalation cohort to evaluate alisertib (MLN8237) + Rituximab + Vincristine and determine Phase 2 dose. Patients with other types of B-cell lymphoma (including mantle cell or Burkitt's lymphoma may enroll in Parts 1 and 2. Phase 2: Alisertib (MLN8237) + Rituximab + Vincristine in patients with relapsed or refractory DLBCL or TFL at recommended Phase 2 dose. Note that in 2013 Sponsor decision was taken to not initiate the phase 2 portion of the trial, which would have investigated the triplet at the recommended phase 2 dose identified in part 2. This decision was based on reprioritization within the company and not on any clinical or safety outcomes observed.
NCT02504008
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 24-week study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AXS-02 in patients with CRPS-I.
NCT00867113
This is a Phase II, non-randomized, open-label, multi-center study conducted in the USA. The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the use of long term adjuvant imatinib mesylate in patients at significant risk for recurrence following complete resection of primary GIST.
NCT00306293
Eligible subjects will be randomized to receive VALTREX 1g or placebo once daily for 60 days in a two-way crossover study with a washout period of 7 days in between.
