The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of evolocumab administered subcutaneously every 2 weeks (Q2W) and monthly (QM) when used in combination with a statin, compared with placebo, on percent change from baseline in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia.
NCT02560623
This study is being done to collect data on the potential use of a sponge on a string device as a non-invasive tool in evaluating patients with Barrett's Esophagus compared to healthy controls.
NCT04640597
The MIMICS-3D-USA Study is a prospective, multicentre, observational study (non-investigational) of the BioMimics 3D Vascular Stent System that evaluates evaluate safety, effectiveness and device performance within a real-world clinical population of patients undergoing femoropopliteal intervention for the treatment of peripheral artery disease.
NCT00358215
The purpose of the study is to determine the efficacy of treatment of anemia with darbepoetin alfa compared to placebo on the composite of time to death from any cause or first hospital admission for worsening heart failure in patients with symptomatic left ventricular systolic dysfunction and anemia.
NCT03521934
Primary Objective: To compare the effect of sotagliflozin to placebo on the total occurrences of cardiovascular (CV) death, hospitalization for heart failure (HHF), and urgent visit for heart failure (HF) in hemodynamically stable participants after admission for worsening heart failure (WHF) Secondary Objectives: To compare the effects of sotagliflozin to placebo on: * The total occurrences of HHF and urgent visit for HF * The occurrence of CV death * The occurrence of all-cause mortality * The total occurrences of CV death, HHF, urgent visit for HF, non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI), and non-fatal stroke * Change in Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire-12(KCCQ-12) score * Change in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)
NCT01905592
The purpose of this study is to compare progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with advanced/metastatic breast cancer who have a BRCA mutation when treated with niraparib as compared to those treated with physician's choice
NCT03924323
This is a study in minors (7 to 17 years old) diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and evaluated using standard questionnaires as having at least moderate severity of GAD. Participating minors will be assigned to receive either the study drug escitalopram or a pill without any drug in it called a placebo. The purpose of this research is to study the safety and effectiveness of escitalopram in minors with GAD.
NCT00087789
This is a Phase I clinical study to assess the safety, tolerability and biologic activity of in vivo AAV-mediated delivery of CERE-110. Up to 12 subjects will receive open label CERE-110 in dose-escalating fashion. All subjects will receive bilateral, stereotactic injections of CERE-110 for a total of four (Dose A and B) and six (Dose C) injections to target the basal forebrain region of the brain containing the nucleus basalis of Meynert (NBM). All study participants will be observed for a 24-month period and then followed annually.
NCT01568866
The primary objective of this study was to compare progression-free survival in patients with multiple myeloma who relapsed after 1 to 3 prior therapies treated with carfilzomib plus dexamethasone or bortezomib plus dexamethasone.
NCT03099304
The purpose of this study will be to examine the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of ruxolitinib cream in subjects with vitiligo.
NCT02257567
This study is a multicenter, open-label study of polatuzumab vedotin administered by intravenous (IV) infusion in combination with standard doses of bendamustine (B) and rituximab (R) or obinutuzumab (G) in participants with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma (FL) or diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). The study comprises two stages: a Phase Ib safety run-in stage and a Phase II stage. The anticipated time on treatment is 18 weeks for participants with DLBCL and 24 weeks for participants with FL.
NCT03294083
This is a Phase 1b/2a, open-label, multi-center, dose-escalation and safety/efficacy evaluation trial of Pexa-Vec plus Cemiplimab in patients with metastatic or unresectable renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The trial consists of a dose-escalation stage, where the maximum feasible dose of Pexa-Vec in combination with Cemiplimab will be determined, followed by an expansion stage. During the expansion patients will receive Cemiplimab alone or in combination with Pexa-Vec, which will be administered either through intravenous (IV) or intratumoral (IT) injection.
NCT03712228
This is a multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-arm, phase 2 study to investigate the clinical efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety of CSL312 as prophylaxis to prevent attacks in subjects with HAE.
NCT05032352
Prospective Registrational Trial to Define Real World Outcomes of Patients with Completely Resected Stage I or IIA (tumor \< or = 5cm, node negative) Non-squamous Non-Small Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Identified as High, Intermediate, or Low Risk by a 14-Gene Prognostic Assay DetermaRx being Considered for Adjuvant Platinum-based chemotherapy or other adjuvant therapy versus Observation
NCT03082729

NCT01559363
The primary objective of this study Phase 1b was to determine the safety, plasma pharmacokinetics, and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of tesevatinib when administered to participants with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). The primary objective of this study Phase 2a was to evaluate the annualized change in glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in participants with ADPKD when treated with tesevatinib.
NCT04006964
The diagnosis of a lung function anomaly requires the evaluation of pulmonary function by spirometry. However, some patients (e.g. children, elderly, or diseased individuals) may have difficulty performing the related forced maximal respiratory maneuver correctly. Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT) measures lung impedance during tidal breathing, requiring minimal patient cooperation. The purpose of this study is to establish the diagnostic accuracy of FOT parameters alone or in combination with lung volumes in detecting lung function anomalies as compared with spirometry and with the diagnosis made by the physician.
NCT02654132
The purpose of this study is to determine if adding Elotuzumab to Pomalidomide and low-dose dexamethasone is a more effective treatment of relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma compared to pomalidomide and low-dose dexamethasone by itself.
NCT04584528
The overall purpose of this proposed study is to improve management of vaso-occlusive episodes (VOEs) in adult EDs. We aim to implement NHLBI recommendations for VOE treatment by embedding Individualized Pain Plans (IPPs) in the electronic health record (EHR). The EHR-embedded IPP will serve as a record of patients' SCD genotype and will include analgesic medication recommendations developed by the SCD provider. In this project, we will provide access to the IPP for both adult patients with SCD and ED providers. The proposed multisite study will use a pre-post study design, with a core set of mandatory intervention components and strategies for each participating site and optional components and strategies to allow for intervention adaptation to local needs and resources. The EHR-embedded IPP will be available for all adult ED providers to use as their routine practice, and patients will be invited to participate and enroll in the study. We will use a simplified Technology Acceptance Model to explain the use of the IPP and the RE-AIM framework to assess the Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Maintenance of the intervention.
