NCT00597818
The primary purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of three dose levels of cobiprostone as compared to placebo in OA/RA patients treated with an NSAID for 20 months.
NCT02591355
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a novel therapeutic modality that has seen broad applications for a number of medical indications including those in orthopedics, dentistry, and dermatology. In dermatology, its uses have included treatment of chronic wounds and facial rejuvenation. More recently, anecdotal reports have suggested some efficacy in the treatment of hair loss, but to the best of our knowledge, there has been only one published case series documenting its use for this indication.
NCT01984242
This multicenter, randomized, open-label study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of atezolizumab as monotherapy or in combination with bevacizumab versus sunitinib in participants with histologically confirmed, inoperable, locally advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma who have not received prior systemic therapy either in the adjuvant or metastatic setting.
NCT00390455
This randomized phase III trial studies fulvestrant and lapatinib to see how well they work compared to fulvestrant and a placebo in treating postmenopausal women with stage III or stage IV breast cancer that is hormone receptor-positive. Estrogen can cause the growth of breast cancer cells. Hormone therapy using fulvestrant may fight breast cancer by lowering the amount of estrogen the body makes. Lapatinib may stop the growth of breast cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether fulvestrant is more effective with or without lapatinib in treating breast cancer.
NCT00626028
The primary purpose of this study is to compare the number of participants with reversible pulmonary hypertension (vasoreactivity) due to nitric oxide for inhalation and oxygen as compared to 100% oxygen.
NCT02608021
This protocol describes a study to validate Neurotrack's visual paired comparison task, aimed at early detection and monitoring of memory impairment. The investigators will determine whether the novel task developed by Neurotrack is associated with markers of brain pathology associated with very early Alzheimer's disease. The elderly subjects studied will be cognitively normal (CN) or have amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI). For the current study, the primary brain pathology parameters will be derived from MRI scans. Data from this study will be correlated with data from a parallel study designed to validate a larger group of new cognitive tasks by correlating test performance with a broader array of biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease.
NCT01914393
This is an open-label, 104-week, multicenter, extension study designed to evaluate the long-term safety, tolerability and effectiveness of flexibly dosed lurasidone (20, 40, 60 or 80 mg/day) in pediatric subjects who have completed the 6-week treatment period in the preceding studies, D1050301, D1050325, and D1050326
NCT02590068
This study aims to identify the innate and adaptive immune response to zoster vaccination. Half of the participants will be individuals with chronic hepatitis C, while the other half with healthy volunteers. The innate immune signature elicited by Zoster vaccination will be characterized by RNA-seq analysis of pre- and post-vaccination RNA from whole blood. We will compare fold changes in gene expression profiles pre- versus post-vaccination in each individual, as well as between the two arms of the study. RNA-seq will be used to assess innate immune activation by evaluating the changes to the expression levels of interferon-stimulated genes pre- and post-vaccination. Adaptive immune response will be determined by the traditional correlates of protection used in previous Zoster clinical studies in addition to flow cytometry24. Correlates of protection include antibody response, interferon gamma production and the frequency of responder cells post- vaccination24. For antibody production, we will perform Zoster glycoprotein ELISA (gpELISA) targeting IgG/IgM. The number and frequency of responder cells will be characterized by flow cytometry.
NCT00475605
This is an observational study to assess the long-term safety of Protopic® Ointment for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. Patients whose ages are/were \< 16 years at the time of first tacrolimus ointment exposure are eligible to participate. No drug is distributed during this observational trial.
NCT02965456
The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of a once daily topical application of IDP-121 Lotion compared with its vehicle (IDP-121 Vehicle Lotion) in participants with moderate to severe acne vulgaris (acne) (that is, acne having an Evaluator's Global Severity Score \[EGSS\] of 3 \[moderate\] or 4 \[severe\]).
NCT01982240
The purpose of this study is to confirm that the investigational medication, plecanatide, is safe and effective in treating chronic idiopathic constipation.
NCT01969695
This is a Phase 1, open-label, multicenter, extension study. Subjects with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) (excluding chronic lymphocytic lymphoma \[CLL\], small lymphocytic lymphoma \[SLL\], and mantle cell lymphoma \[MCL\]) who completed a prior ABT-199 study, or were active and assigned to ABT-199 when the study was completed, may roll over into this extension study. Subjects will receive ABT-199 during this study.
NCT03249740
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of single and repeated intravitreal injections of GB-102 in subjects with neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration.
NCT04205916
To evaluate the safety and ocular efficacy of Dextenza in combination with an intracameral antibiotic and NSAID in controlling post-operative ocular pain and inflammation compared to standard of care topical therapy in patients undergoing bilateral cataract surgery.
NCT02640092
This is an open-label, longitudinal observational study evaluating the imaging characteristics of the tau positron-emission tomography (PET) radioligand \[18F\] Genentech Tau Probe 1 (GTP1) in the brain of participants with prodromal, mild, and moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD) compared to healthy participants. The overall goal of this protocol is to evaluate the longitudinal change in tau burden using \[18F\]GTP1, a tau targeted radiopharmaceutical.
