NCT02431806
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of levomilnacipran ER relative to placebo in adolescent outpatients (12-17 years) with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). In addition, the study is designed to obtain pharmacokinetics (PK) data to guide dose selection for future pediatric studies of levomilnacipran.
NCT04249713
Phase 0 Study of an alternative dosing interval of Brodalumab in patients with moderate to severe Hidradenitis Suppurativa to identify biomarkers of disease activity and clinical response.
NCT00948428
At the end of the study, safety and efficacy outcome measures will be compared to determine a) if dosing with Generic Imiquimod cream, 5% is therapeutically equivalent to the currently marketed Aldara (imiquimod) cream, 5% and b) if both imiquimod 5% creams are superior in comparison to the Vehicle cream.
NCT01869374
To evaluate the feasibility, tolerability and efficacy of Magnetic Seizure Therapy (MST) in elderly patients with a major depressive episode, who are randomly assigned to receive an acute course of MST or ECT. The investigators hypothesize: 1. MST and ECT will have similar antidepressant efficacy 2. MST will have less post-treatment amnesia than ECT as reflected in a primary measures of anterograde and retrograde amnesia following the acute treatment phase. 3. At follow up, MST will show a lesser degree of persisting deficit in measures of retrograde amnesia than ECT.
NCT02393937
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of two Metronidazole Gels 1%, in the treatment of Rosacea.
NCT03604081
This is a prospective randomized control trial of patients with unilateral impairment of the lower extremity after stroke. Patients will be randomized to intervention group and control group. Intervention group will receive one hour of intense massed practice of lower extremity either in the form of shaping or task practice. Control group will receive conventional physical therapy for 1 hour as per current standard of care that follows stroke clinical practice guideline.
NCT04112225
This study will use a longitudinal randomized experimental design. Participants will be randomly assigned to either a positive affect skills intervention or a psychoeducation control group and assessed with questionnaires at baseline and immediately post 8-week intervention.
NCT02089464
A pivotal, prospective, multi-center, randomized, controlled, double-blinded study combining active Nexstim NBS-guided 1Hz rTMS or sham-rTMS targeting the healthy hemisphere with standardized task oriented rehabilitation will be conducted in patients with post-stroke motor impairment. The therapy will be provided for 6 weeks and primary outcome assessed 6 months later.
NCT04540185
In this randomized double blind Phase 3 clinical trial we will study the efficacy and safety of oral polio vaccine with and without NA-831 versus placebo.
NCT03783650
The proposed research, building on an ongoing AHRQ-funded research project to prevent pediatric diagnostic errors in primary care (R01HS023608) and using a prospective, cluster-randomized, stepped wedge design, will investigate whether 1) a quality improvement collaborative (QIC) intervention without subspecialist involvement, 2) a QIC with subspecialists and primary care physicians (PCPs) mutually engaged, and/or 3) a hub and spoke co-diagnosis, co-management model where PCPs diagnose and manage pediatric hypertension (HTN) with a supporting subspecialist advisor, reduce errors in pediatric HTN diagnosis and management compared to each other and usual care.
NCT01711515
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of ipilimumab when given after chemoradiation therapy in treating patients with stages IB2-IIB or IIIB-IVA cervical cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab, may find tumor cells and help carry tumor-killing substances to them. Giving ipilimumab together with chemoradiation therapy may be a better way treat cervical cancer.
NCT03241810
This study is a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, Phase 2 study in postmenopausal women with heregulin positive, hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative metastatic, unresectable breast cancer.
NCT01992380
This study will test if two flortaucipir PET scans up to 4 weeks apart in healthy volunteers, MCI and AD subjects provide the same results.
NCT04287374
This study seeks to investigate the effects of an online single-session intervention on college student mental health and well-being. Undergraduate students from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard will be randomized to a 30-minute single-session intervention or a study skills control group. Students' depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, positive and negative affect, and subjective well-being will be assessed up to 12 weeks post-intervention.
NCT02516046
This study is designed to test the relationship between ante-mortem flortaucipir Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging and tau neurofibrillary pathology associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD), as measured at autopsy.
NCT00959959
The purpose of this study is to determine whether TOK-001 is safe and shows biological effect in the treatment of castration resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).
NCT01931046
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of AD5-SGE-REIC/Dkk-3 in patients with localized prostate cancer.
NCT01875666
Kinases are a group of proteins that are important in how cancer cells grow. HER2 is a kind of kinase. This study looks at a new approach to identifying kinases, which may help target therapy more precisely. LCCC1214 is a randomized, multiarm, multicenter, open-label window trial designed to explore the kinome response in Stage I-IV HER2 positive (HER2+) breast cancer patients scheduled to undergo definitive surgery (either lumpectomy, mastectomy or surgical resection of oligometastatic disease). Patients will initiate dosing with either a single HER2-directed agent or a combination of two HER2-directed agents, one week prior to surgery. Forty patients will be randomized to one of four study groups: A) single dose trastuzumab; B) single dose pertuzumab; C) combination single dose trastuzumab plus single dose pertuzumab; or D) combination single dose trastuzumab plus lapatinib daily for 7 days. Pre- and post- dosing tissue will be analyzed for kinome response and resistant signatures. The initiation of study drug will be defined by the surgical schedule; there will be no delays in standard treatment for the purposes of this study.
NCT03597282
The primary purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the NEO-PV-01 vaccine, either with APX005M or ipilimumab, and nivolumab is safe for the treatment of patients with advanced or metastatic melanoma. The study will also investigate an alternative schedule for the administration of the NEO-PV-01 vaccine. Study interventions will be assessed by both clinical and immune responses to treatment.
NCT00799266
This study was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of zoledronic acid compared to placebo in osteoporotic children treated with glucocorticoids
