This randomised, open-label phase III trial will be performed in patients with advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the lung requiring second-line treatment after receiving first-line platinum-based chemotherapy. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate safety and efficacy of ELAD® with respect to overall survival (OS) of subjects with a clinical diagnosis of alcohol-induced liver decompensation (AILD) up to at least Study Day 91, with follow-up Protocol VTI-208E providing additional survival data up to a maximum of 5 years that will be included, as available, through VTI-208 study termination (after the last surviving enrolled subject completes Study Day 91). Secondary objectives are to determine the proportion of survivors at Study Days 28 and 91. Exploratory objectives are to evaluate the ability of ELAD to stabilize liver function, measured using the Model for End Stage Liver Disease (MELD)-based time to progression (TTP) up to Study Day 91, and the proportion of progression-free survivors (PFS) up to Study Days 28 and 91. Progression is defined as death or the first observed increase of at least 5 points from End of Study Day 1 MELD score (for both the ELAD and Control groups) until at least 24 hours after the ELAD Treatment Period is ended (end of Day 7 for Controls) and up to both End of Study Days 28 and 91 following Randomization.

The purpose of the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Collaborative Research Group Registry is to study the contemporary natural history of children \<16 years of age newly diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. The project follows these children quarterly from diagnosis examining clinical, laboratory, and humanistic outcomes. Genetic and serologic monitoring is performed on the study population.

The primary objective of CSP#589 VIP-STAR is to evaluate the effectiveness of Individual Placement \& Support (IPS) in unemployed Veterans with PTSD. The primary hypothesis is that, compared to those treated with transitional work program (TWP), unemployed Veterans with PTSD treated with IPS will be significantly more likely to become a steady worker. A steady worker is defined as holding a competitive job for greater than or equal to 50% of the 18-month study follow-up period (i.e., greater than or equal to 39 of the 78 weeks). All participants will be followed for 18 months post-randomization. 12/14/12: Analytic plan augmented to allow for a sensitivity analysis of the primary outcome that would exclude the first 12 weeks post-randomization, and evaluate between group proportion of steady worker status, as defined by working in a competitive job for greater than or equal to 50% of the weeks during week 13-78. 7/1/13: Analysis plan has been augmented to include a logistic regression analysis of the primary outcome, adjusted for participating medical center. 10/4/13: Addition of the IPS-25 Fidelity Scale. The addition of the IPS-25 scale should increase the validity of study results. 1/15/15: Addition of an Interactive Voice Recognition/Web-based (IVR/Web) System; as an option for weekly data capture of the primary outcome data (employment history). 8/17/15: Approval of Supplemental Data Collection at Participant Study Exit; use of the data collected will supplement the study analysis plan and, provide further insight into the impact of vocational rehab. A Participant Satisfaction Survey will allow study participants to indicate their level of satisfaction with the study, vocational rehabilitation intervention and, suggestions for future research.

On October 1, 2016, the VHA Office of Telehealth and the Connected Health Office will merge to create a single entity that will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of eHealth technologies across the healthcare system. In an effort to successfully fulfill its mission, the new combined Connected Health/Telehealth Office is pledging $1,100,000 for an eHealth Partnered Evaluation Initiative (PEI) to support the further implementation of eHealth technologies across VHA, and to measure their impacts on dimensions of access and other outcomes. Developed in close consultation with leadership of the new office, the proposed objectives of the eHealth PEI are to (1) implement a patient-level "supported adoption intervention" for secure messaging and evaluate the impact of secure messaging use through a rapid, one-year randomized trial; and (2) evaluate the initial rollout of VHA's automated telehealth text messaging system to Veterans and clinical team members.

This study looks to enroll subjects with ovarian cancer who will be having standard of care surgery to remove ovarian cancer tumors. The main aim of this study is to be able to observe how EC1456 has been taken in and broken down inside tumors. The effect of EC1456 on the tumor will also be studied. This study will also help us compare the amount of EC1456 seen in tumors and how the tumors are imaged by the 99mTc-etarfolatide single-photon emission tomography (SPECT) or single-photon emission tomography with in-line x-ray computed tomography (SPECT/CT). All subjects will undergo a 99mTc-etarfolatide SPECT or SPECT/CT scan within 2 weeks prior to EC1456 administration. Individual subjects will then receive 1 of the following 2 doses of EC1456 pre-operatively: * 4 mg/m2 * 8 mg/m2 EC1456 will be administered at 1 of the following 2 time points: * \<8 hours before planned surgery * 48±4 hours before planned surgery Blood will be collected for pharmacokinetic (PK) studies right after EC1456 dosing and again right before surgery. At the time of surgery, tumor samples will be removed and sent to Endocyte for analysis.
