NCT01077154
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying the effect of denosumab to see if it can prevent disease recurrence in the bone or in any other part of the body, when it is given as adjuvant therapy for women with early-stage breast cancer, who are at high risk of disease recurrence.
NCT03257358
A study of immune phenotype biomarkers in patients with Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis (RMS) after treatment with 0.5mg fingolimod
NCT04237831
A study to evaluate the drug effect, safety, and tolerability of BMS-986259 in participants with different levels of kidney function
NCT02798211
To demonstrate that the efficacy of secukinumab 300 mg at Week 16 was superior to placebo in adult patients with active PsA based on the proportion of patients achieving an American College of Rheumatology 20 (ACR20) response.
NCT00444821
The purpose of this study is to compare endovascular repair using any FDA approved Medtronic AAA Stent Graft System versus surveillance in subjects with smaller abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA)(4-5CM), with respect to AAA rupture and AAA related deaths.
NCT03163446
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, efficacy and pharmacokinetics (PK) of CF-301 in addition to background standard of care (SOC) antibacterial therapy for the treatment of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) bloodstream infections (bacteremia), including endocarditis in adults. Patients will be randomized to receive a single intravenous dose of CF-301 or placebo in addition to SOC antibacterial therapy. Patients will be prescribed standard of care antibiotics selected by the investigators based on their professional experience, practice guidelines and local antibiotic susceptibility information for the treatment of S. aureus bacteremia. CF-301 is a lysin and member of a new class of targeted protein-based antimicrobials that has demonstrated activity against S. aureus in laboratory (in vitro) and animal studies, alone and in addition to conventional antibiotics.
NCT04114825
This Phase II trial will enroll approximately 180 adult male patients with an earlier histologic diagnosis of prostatic adenocarcinoma and a biochemical recurrence (BCR) within 3 years of radical prostatectomy (RP) or definitive RT and no distant metastasis or locoregional recurrence. The trial is a randomized placebo-controlled double-blind study of a peptide cancer vaccine (RV001V).
NCT02161718
This double-blind, randomized study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of ALKS 3831 in subjects with schizophrenia and alcohol use disorder (AUD).
NCT01903837
This is a Phase 2, randomized, placebo-controlled multicenter study, which will be conducted in 2 parts. The study duration for each subject will be approximately 33 weeks and will include 25 study visits.
NCT01939158
The purpose of this study is to compare the immediate and long term (up to 5 years) immunogenicity and safety of GSK Biologicals' MenACWY-TT vaccine when given as a single dose or as 2 doses to toddlers aged 12 to 14 months. Also, this study will also assess if co-administration of GSK Biologicals' MenACWY-TT with the booster dose of Pfizer's Prevenar 13 adversely impacts the immunogenicity of either of the vaccines.
NCT01418339
The goal of the current study is to determine efficacy and safety of once-weekly aripiprazole in reducing Total Tic Severity (TTS) score in children and adolescents with Tourette's Disorder.
NCT03299686
An unmet medical need exists for patients with moderate and severe asthma who continue to demonstrate symptoms despite being on standard of care medications, and are not eligible for other biologic therapies developed or in development for T2-high(allergic/eosinophilic) asthma. The purpose of this study was to determine if CJM112, an anti-IL-17A antibody, displayed the clinical efficacy and safety profile to support further development in patients with inadequately controlled moderate to severe asthma with low IgE and low circulating eosinophil levels.
NCT03560739
The primary purpose of this study is to demonstrate pharmacokinetic bioequivalence of ofatumumab injected by Pre-filled Syringe (PFS) versus Auto-Injector (AI) devices and thereby establish a bridge between the ongoing Phase 3 program and the to-be-marketed drug-device combinations
NCT04271514
This study is a first-in-human, 3-part, multi-center, Phase 1, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study with RPT193 in up to 64 healthy male and female subjects and 30 male and female patients with atopic dermatitis. RPT193 is an orally-available, potent, and selective antagonist of CCR4.
NCT04465513
Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is caused by SARS-CoV-2, a plus-sense single-stranded RNA virus. After an incubation period, which typically lasts for 5-6 days, COVID-19 patients present with a mild illness that lasts for a few days. Common symptoms are reminiscent of the flu, and include fever, dry cough and dyspnea. A large percentage of patients resolve the infection whereas others progress onto adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) which impedes gas exchange between the alveolar space and the bloodstream and creates the need for assisted respiration. The objective of this study is to investigate the safety and efficacy of CARDIO supplementation in the recovery of those with COVID-19 infection following the guidance from public health by reducing the need for mechanical respiratory support, alleviating respiratory symptoms and reducing mortality.
NCT02038530
This is a cohort study that will assess a new diagnostic management strategy for suspected Deep Vein Thrombosis in outpatients. The new diagnostic strategy is designed to reduce the use of ultrasound testing on the day of presentation, and reduce repeat ultrasound testing a week after an initial normal test.
NCT03389893
The purpose of this study is to understand the effect that T helper 2 (Th2) blockade has on well-described pathophysiological features of Atopic Dermatitis (AD), for example: barrier, epidermal activation, dysbiosis and epidermal lipids.
NCT02808442
This study aims to evaluate the safety and feasibility of UCART19 to induce molecular remission in pediatric patients with relapsed or refractory CD19-positive B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL).
NCT02758704
This study will be a randomized controlled trial designed to analyse the impact of stress on the success rate of a simulated neonatal endotracheal intubation. To do this, pediatric residents will be enrolled and randomized to either a high-stress (HS) or low-stress (LS) environment where they will be asked to perform a standard neonatal intubation procedure. Subjects will then cross-over to the second scenario within a short window (1-2 weeks). Outcome measures include: endotracheal intubation success rate and assessment of the procedure performance by video-review using a standardized checklist rated by two independent reviewers. Stress level will be measured using salivary cortisol, heart rate and a standardized anxiety questionnaire.
NCT02746952
The study is in two parts: a dose escalation then a safety dose expansion. The purpose of the dose escalation part is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of ascending doses of UCART19 (dose-escalation part) given as a single infusion in patients with relapsed / refractory (R/R) B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (B-ALL), to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), the recommended dose and the lymphodepletion regimen. The purpose of the safety dose expansion is to assess the safety and tolerability of the RD for UCART19.
