NCT00303498
The aim of this study was to determine whether long-term (≥ 6 months at the target dose) blockade of ETA receptors using sitaxsentan showed functional benefit in subjects with chronic Heart Failure and an Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction ≥50%.
NCT05069519
Cancer remains a vital public health concern in the U.S. Research evidence has shown that physical activity provides many physical and mental health benefits after cancer diagnosis and plays an important role in reducing all-cause, cancer-related death and cancer events in the elderly cancer survivors (CS). Adopting a physically active lifestyle may decrease cancer risks, improve cancer prognosis and quality of life. However, most CS did not achieve recommended 150 min/week of moderate-to- vigorous physical activity (PA \[MVPA\]). This issue is particularly pronounced for CS in low-income areas who tend to have considerably less access to PA-conducive environments compared to urban peers. To this accord, it is imperative to promote PA in elderly CS to offer appropriate supportive care. Thus, implementing innovative PA interventions with the goal of improving their self-regulatory health behaviors in CS is paramount.
NCT04867382
The prevalence of opioid use disorder (OUD) and opioid-related deaths has risen dramatically in recent years. Effective treatments, including medications for opioid use disorder (MOUDs; e.g., buprenorphine-naloxone and methadone) are under-utilized. There are few evidence-based interventions for changing attitudes toward Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) in the general public and especially among healthcare clinicians. This study proposed an innovative intervention to change attitudes of Primary Care Clinicians (PCCs) toward persons with OUD. Study participants were stratified into one of two online learning courses: the intervention training was compared with an attention-control training.
NCT03618095
REPRISE IV: REpositionable Percutaneous Replacement of Stenotic Aortic Valve through Implantation of LOTUS Edge Valve System in IntermediatE Surgical Risk Subjects
NCT03504423
A prospective, multicenter, open label, randomized phase III study to evaluate efficacy and safety of FFX versus CPI-613 + mFFX in patients with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas with age range of 18 to 75 years
NCT04559945
prospective, non-randomized, multi-center, international clinical study is designed to confirm the safety and effectiveness of the Aveir LP System in a subject population indicated for a VVI(R) pacemaker.
NCT03873493
The main objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the combination of venetoclax plus ibrutinib for treating adults with T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL).
NCT03181932
This is a multi-center, randomized phase III study to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of AeroVanc in persistent methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF).
NCT03347422
The purpose of Part A was to determine whether sutimlimab administration resulted in a greater than or equal to (\>=)1.5 grams per deciliter (g/dL) increase in hemoglobin (Hgb) level and avoidance of transfusion in participants with primary cold agglutinin disease (CAD) without a recent history of blood transfusion. The purpose of Part B was to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of sutimlimab in participants with primary CAD.
NCT02352753
This is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm study in children 2 to 17 years of age with OI to evaluate efficacy and safety of denosumab.
NCT01730950
This randomized phase II trial studies how well bevacizumab with or without radiation therapy works in treating patients with recurrent glioblastoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Specialized radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue. It is not yet know whether bevacizumab is more effective with or without radiation therapy in treating patients with recurrent glioblastoma
NCT03945188
The purpose of this study is to determine whether oral etrasimod is a safe and effective treatment for moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.
NCT02918019
This is a Phase IIb, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, multicenter, multi-arm study which will evaluate efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetic of MSTT1041A compared with placebo as add-on therapy in participants with severe, uncontrolled asthma who are receiving medium- or high-dose inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) therapy and at least one of the following additional controller medications: long-acting beta-agonists (LABA), leukotriene modifier (LTM), long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA), or long-acting theophylline preparation. The total duration of this study for each participant is approximately 70 weeks including screening, run-in, treatment, and follow-up.
NCT03611751
The purpose of this study is to investigate the experimental medication BMS-986165 compared to placebo and a currently available treatment in participants with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
NCT01135459
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of a 200 micrograms (mcg) dose of CEP-33457 compared with placebo in participants with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) as assessed by the proportion of participants achieving a combined clinical response using the SLE responder index (SRI) at Week 24.
NCT04915937
To assess the effects of infant formula with oligosaccharides on symptoms of formula intolerance in healthy, term infants
NCT02996110
The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness and safety of various nivolumab combinations compared to nivolumab and ipilimumab in participants with advanced kidney cancer
NCT00849147
Bone marrow transplants are one treatment option for people with leukemia or lymphoma. Family members or unrelated donors with a similar type of bone marrow usually donate their bone marrow to the transplant patients. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of a new type of bone marrow transplant-one that uses lower doses of chemotherapy and bone marrow donated from family members with only partially matched bone marrow-in people with leukemia or lymphoma.
NCT02871297
Evaluation of the long-term safety and tolerability of vortioxetine in child and adolescent participants with a Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition (DSM-5™) diagnosis of MDD.
NCT00537134
The management of patients with unruptured aneurysms is controversial. Patients with unruptured aneurysms may suffer intracranial hemorrhage, but the incidence of this event is still debated. Endovascular treatment can prevent rupture, but involves immediate risks; furthermore, successful treatment does not eliminate all risks. A randomized trial may be the best way to demonstrate the potential benefits of endovascular over conservative management of unruptured aneurysms.
