NCT06769126
This phase II trial tests how well biomarker tests on patients tumor tissue works in selecting personalized treatments for patients with extensive stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). Biomarker tests look for certain features in cancer cells that may give doctors more information about what is driving cancer and how to treat it. Based on the biomarker test results, study doctors can determine the subtype of ES-SCLC that study treatments can target. This study also tests different types of maintenance treatment for ES-SCLC with drugs durvalumab, saruparib, ceralasertib or monalizumab. Maintenance treatment is given after initial treatment and is given to help keep the cancer under control and prevent it from getting worse. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab and monalizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Saruparib is a PARP inhibitor. PARP is a protein that helps repair damaged deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Blocking PARP may prevent cancer cells from repairing their damaged DNA, causing them to die. PARP inhibitors are a type of targeted therapy. Ceralasertib may stop the growth of tumor cells and may kill them by blocking some of the enzymes needed for tumor cell growth. Giving biomarker selected personalized maintenance treatment with durvalumab, saruparib, ceralasertib or monalizumab may work better in treating patients with ES-SCLC.

NCT03496883
The objective of the rFVIIa for Acute Hemorrhagic Stroke Administered at Earliest Time (FASTEST) Trial is to establish the first treatment for acute spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) within a time window and subgroup of patients that is most likely to benefit. The central hypothesis is that rFVIIa, administered within 120 minutes from stroke onset with an identified subgroup of patients most likely to benefit, will improve outcomes at 180 days as measured by the Modified Rankin Score (mRS) and decrease ongoing bleeding as compared to standard therapy.
NCT07205107
The goal of this observational study is to learn about the effects of a treatment that contains clindamycin phosphate, adapalene, and benzoyl peroxide in people with acne. The main questions the study aims to answer are: * How satisfied are people with this treatment? * How well do people follow the treatment plan? * How effective and safe is the treatment? * How does the treatment affect quality of life? * How do people use other skin care products, such as cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreen, while using this treatment? About 200 people aged 12 and older with acne across Canada will use the treatment as part of their regular care and answer questions about their experience over 20 weeks.
NCT03972488
The aim of NETTER-2 was to determine if Lutathera in combination with long-acting octreotide prolongs progression free survival (PFS) in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (GEP-NET) patients with high proliferation rate tumors (G2 and G3), when given as a first line treatment compared to treatment with high dose (60 mg) long-acting octreotide. Somatostatin analog (SSA) naive patients were eligible, as well as patients previously treated with SSAs in the absence of progression.
NCT05985304
The objectives of the clinical investigation are to determine the safety and performance of the RayOne EMV Toric (Model RAO210T) following unilateral implantation and approximately 6 months (120 to 180 days) of post-operative assessment, as a randomized comparison to aspheric monofocal control for low cylinder (1.50 D). This patient population with cataracts and low corneal cylinder (+1.00 to +1.50 D) will have the natural crystalline lens removed and replaced with an intraocular lens in the capsular bag.
NCT06902519
The goal of this clinical study is to learn more about the study drug GS-0151. The study is done to find how safe, well-tolerated the drug is. This will also assess how the drug is absorbed, modified, distributed and cleared from the body (the pharmacokinetics (PK) of the drug), when given multiple times to participants with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The primary objectives of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of multiple ascending doses of GS-0151 in participants with RA and to characterize the PK of GS-0151 following multiple doses of GS-0151 in participants with RA.
NCT03729830

NCT06428409
Researchers want to learn if sacituzumab tirumotecan (MK-2870) alone or with other treatments can treat certain gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. The GI cancers being studied are either advanced (the cancer has spread to other parts of the body), or unresectable (the cancer cannot be removed with surgery). The goals of this study are to learn: * About the safety of sacituzumab tirumotecan alone or with other treatments and if people tolerate it * How many people have the cancer respond (get smaller or go away) to treatment
NCT06872905
The study will assess the safety and effectiveness of the GORE® VIABAHN® VBX Balloon Expandable Endoprosthesis ("VBX Device" or also referred to as "VBX Stent Graft") in a post approval setting and evaluate the quality of the use in covered endovascular reconstruction of the aortic bifurcation (CERAB) to treat Aortoiliac Occlusive Disease (AIOD).
NCT02878850
The purpose of this study is to learn more about how participants heal from acute spinal cord injury.
NCT05253677
Computed tomography (CT) has become an established tool in the diagnostic workup of patients with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD). The availability of coronary CT angiography (CCTA) before the invasive procedure allows stratifying case complexity and can be used to improve patient selection for PCI, to plan and guide therapeutic interventions. Beyond the diagnostic and therapeutic phase, it helps to better organize the catheterization laboratory workflow. The P4 study is an investigator-initiated, multicenter, randomized study with a non-inferiority design of patients with an indication for PCI aiming at comparing clinical outcomes between two imaging strategies to guide PCI, being coronary CT-guided PCI strategy (investigational technology) and IVUS-guided PCI strategy (comparator). After identifying the presence of a significant coronary stenosis, the patient will be randomized either to CT- or IVUS-guided PCI groups. Both CT and IVUS-guided PCI will be performed following the P4 trial protocol. When the procedure is completed, post-PCI FFR will be measured. All patients will be followed in hospital, at 30 days (±15 days), 12 months (±1 month) and yearly until 5 year.
NCT03456843
This randomized phase II trial studies how well surgical removal of the prostate and antiandrogen therapy with or without docetaxel work in treating men with newly diagnosed prostate cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Androgens can cause the growth of prostate cancer cells. Antiandrogen therapy may lessen the amount of androgens made by the body. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as docetaxel work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Surgery, antiandrogen therapy and docetaxel may work better in treating participants with prostate cancer.
NCT04233424
Phase III, Prospective, Multinational, Multicenter, Randomized, Controlled, Two-arm, Double Blind Study to assess Efficacy and Safety of D-PLEX Administered Concomitantly with the Standard of Care (SoC), compared to a SoC treated control arm, in prevention of post abdominal surgery incisional infection.
NCT05249426
With an amendment of the protocol, this study is only open to adults with head and neck cancer. Previously also adults with liver cancer joined. This is a study for people for whom previous treatment was not successful or no standard treatment exists. The purpose of this study is to find out whether combining different medicines make tumours shrink. The tested medicines in this study are antibodies that act in different ways against cancer. BI 765063 and ezabenlimab may help the immune system fight cancer (checkpoint inhibitors). Cetuximab blocks growth signals and may prevent the tumour from growing. BI 836880 blocks the formation of new blood vessels that the tumour needs to grow. With amendments of the protocol, all participants receive cetuximab in addition to BI 765063 and ezabenlimab. Ezabenlimab treatment and any other assigned treatment are given no longer than 2 years. Previously, BI 765063 and ezabenlimab were also given alone, or in combination with chemotherapy, or with BI 836880. BI 765063, ezabenlimab, and BI 836880 are given as infusions into veins every 3 weeks. Cetuximab is given as an infusion every 1 or 2 weeks. Participants can stay in the study as long as they benefit from treatment and can tolerate it. They regularly visit the study site where doctors check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects. The doctors also monitor the size of the tumour.
