Study BH-30236-01 is a first-in-human (FIH), Phase 1/1b, open-label, dose escalation and expansion study in participants with relapsed/refractory acute myelogenous leukemia (R/R AML) or higher-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (HR-MDS). Phase 1, Part 1 Dose Escalation - Monotherapy will evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and preliminary efficacy of BH-30236 administered orally. Approximately 50 participants may be enrolled in Phase 1, Part 1 Dose Escalation - Monotherapy. Phase 1, Part 2 Dose Escalation - Combination with Venetoclax will evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and preliminary efficacy of BH-30236 administered as a combination therapy with venetoclax. Approximately 48 participants may be enrolled in Phase 1, Part 2 Dose Escalation - Combination with Venetoclax. Phase 1b (Dose Expansion) will follow Phase 1 to further understand the relationships among dose, exposure, toxicity, tolerability, and clinical activity. Up to 72 participants may be enrolled in Phase 1b of the study as a monotherapy or in combination with venetoclax.

The goal of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability of orally taken probiotic (R-2487) in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Patients will take an oral dosage of probiotic (R-2487) and physicians will assess and measure their Rheumatoid Arthritis. Blood and fecal evaluations of inflammation and assessment of probiotic (R-2487) on fecal level will also be measured.

The purpose of this study is to understand whether a blood-based test called circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) can detect whether participants are having a desired tumor shrinkage or an undesired lack of tumor shrinkage, and to study whether these levels of ctDNA can be used to make treatment decisions faster than the current standard approach, which is to wait 8 weeks after starting chemotherapy to obtain participant first imaging scans since starting chemotherapy.

The rapid increase of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) use by young people in the US and their potential to harm health, cause addiction, and serve as a risk for cigarette smoking or dual-use is alarming. The epidemic of ENDS use among young people in the US has been associated with the rise in popularity of ENDS products that are very efficient in delivering high doses of nicotine to users. Therefore, the investigators propose to study the effects of nicotine reduction (NR) on young ENDS users as a potential regulatory strategy to reduce the addictiveness and use of ENDS. The proposed studies are directly responsive to research priories identified by the FDA and specified in this RFA under Addiction; studying the "Impact of changes in tobacco product characteristics (e.g. nicotine formulation) on dependence". This project aims to provide an overview of this project's rationale significance divided into 1) scientific rationale and regulatory implications; 2) the need to respond to the rising trend of ENDS use among young people in the US; 3) the importance of reducing the addictiveness of ENDS; 4) the strength of our clinical and analytical lab approach for regulatory purposes; and 5) the strengths and weaknesses in the rigor of prior research about NR for ENDS.

The main purpose of this study is to assess how olomorasib gets into the blood stream and how long it takes the body to remove it when administered to participants with mild, moderate and severe impaired liver function compared to participants with normal liver function. The Computerized Registry of Patients with Venous Thromboembolism (RIETE) is a multidisciplinary Project initiated in march 2001 and consisting in obtaining an extensive data registry of consecutive patients with venous thromboembolism. The main objective is to provide information on the Internet to help physicians to improve their knowledge on the natural history of thromboembolic disease, particularly in those subgroups of patients who are usually not recruited in randomized clinical trials (pregnant women, elderly patients, disseminated cancer, severe renal insufficiency, patients with contraindications to anticoagulation therapy, extreme body weight, etc), with the purpose of decreasing mortality, frequency of thromboembolic recurrences as well as bleeding complications and arterial events. As an additional objective RIETE is also aimed to create predictive scores that help physicians to better identify patients with high risk of presenting some of these complications. The primary parameters recorded by the registry comprise details of each patient's clinical status, including any coexisting or underlying conditions, and the type, dose, duration and outcome (during the first 3 months of therapy) of antithrombotic treatment. Study endpoints are clinically recognized (and objectively confirmed) recurrences of VTE, major and minor bleeding complications, and death.
