NCT00137332
The purpose of this study is to learn the effects of a test drug on heart rhythms, which may become life-threatening if left untreated, and to provide data to see if the drug is well tolerated and safe.
NCT00098124
Antidepressants of all varieties represent a common form of therapy for many chronic states including fibromyalgia. The majority of antidepressants increase the levels of serotonin or norepinephrine in the central nervous system. Milnacipran is a dual norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake inhibitor and may be effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia.
NCT00057278
This study will assess the safety and effectiveness of the drug gabapentin in reducing pain associated with primary fibromyalgia.

The primary objective is to evaluate the long-term safety of desvenlafaxine succinate sustained-release (DVS SR) during open-label treatment in adult outpatients with fibromyalgia syndrome.
NCT00301431
The purpose of this study is to determine if DVS-233 is safe and effective in the treatment of pain and other symptoms of fibromyalgia syndrome.
NCT00301236
The purpose of this study is to determine which dosages of dexmethylphenidate HCl extended-release capsules may represent effective treatment for ADHD in children 6-12 years of age.

NCT00116506
Despite recent advances, most patients with advanced colorectal cancer continue to have a poor prognosis. 5-FU, leucovorin, oxaliplatin and bevacizumab is a standard treatment option for patients with stage IV colorectal cancer. Fluorouracil (5-FU), leucovorin and oxaliplatin are considered traditional chemotherapies that try to stop tumor growth by affecting how they divide. Bevacizumab is a therapy to try to block the blood vessels that tumors need to grow. It is considered a 'targeted agent'. Erlotinib is another targeted agent, that has been shown to be effective in treating lung and other cancers. This trial is assessing the potential benefit of adding these second targeted agents to standard treatment.
NCT00146601
The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness and safety of fulvestrant in premenopausal women with advanced breast cancer.
NCT00050375
This study will compare the time to disease relapse between OvaRex® MAb-B43.13-treated patients and placebo-treated patients. This study will also compare assessments of survival, quality of life, immune response and safety between active and placebo groups.
NCT00334347
To compare the time to response, response rates, remission rates, and side effects in Bipolar Disorder inpatients treated with Depakote ER or Depakote DR for acute mania or mixed mania.
NCT00114803
The hypothesis underlying this study is that nasally administered calcitonin will stabilize or improve bone mineral density in young patients with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease. Patients who participate will receive either calcitonin or placebo and will have their bone mineral density measured at the start, at nine months, and at 18 months of study. Participants will also receive age appropriate doses of vitamin D and calcium supplements. Other serological measures of vitamin D status will be obtained every 3 months during the study.
NCT00425620

NCT00568737
Adult Patients with Severe Sepsis
NCT00102219
This is a non-randomized Phase 2 study testing pemetrexed and doxorubicin in combination for locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Both pemetrexed and doxorubicin have been combined with other drugs, but they have not yet been combined with each other. It is expected that the patient will benefit from the different mechanisms of action of the two drugs. However, there is no guarantee that the patient will benefit from this treatment.
