The aim of the study is to further characterize the safety and immunogenicity of Menactra® in the population \<2 years of age when administered alone and when the second dose is administered concomitantly with the 4th dose of Pentacel®, a licensed pediatric vaccine. Primary Objectives: * To evaluate and compare the antibody responses to meningococcal serogroups A, C, Y, and W-135 induced by 2 injections of Menactra® in subjects aged 9 months at the first vaccination visit and 15 to 18 months at the second vaccination visit. * To evaluate and compare the antibody responses to Pertussis (pertussis toxoid \[PT\], filamentous haemagglutinin \[FHA\] and pertactin \[PRN\]) antigens induced by a dose of Pentacel® when administered concomitantly with Menactra® to those elicited by a dose of Pentacel® administered alone. * To evaluate and compare the antibody responses to polyribosylribitol phosphate (PRP), tetanus and diphtheria antigens induced by a dose of Pentacel® when administered concomitantly with Menactra® to those elicited by a dose of Pentacel® alone. Observational Objectives: * To describe the safety profile (immediate unsolicited AEs within 30 minutes of each trial vaccination, solicited reactions within 7 days of each vaccination, unsolicited AEs within 30 days of each vaccination, and serious adverse events \[SAEs\] throughout the course of the trial from Day 0 up to Day 30 after the last trial vaccination\[s\]) in all trial groups * To describe the antibody responses to meningococcal serogroups A, C, Y, and W-135, measured by SBA HC, 30 days after the second Menactra® administration * To describe the antibody responses to Pentacel® (PT, FHA, PRN, FIM, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, PRP) measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), radioimmunoassay (RIA), or functional assays.
NCT00946296
The purpose of this study is to determine whether a brief course of SSKI (saturated solution of potassium iodide) administered preoperatively provides any benefit in the surgical management of patients undergoing thyroidectomy as definitive management of their Graves Disease.
NCT00112294
The primary purpose of this clinical research study is to learn if patients treated with the combination of Taxane/Carboplatin plus Cetuximab (C/T/C) have a longer progression-free survival than patients treated with Taxane/Carboplatin (T/C) alone. The safety of this treatment will also be studied.
NCT00272181
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, effectiveness, and recommended dose of Proxinium in North American patients with Squamous Cell Head and Neck Cancer
NCT01332656
Primary Objective: \- To demonstrate an improvement in Progression-Free Survival (PFS) for Ombrabulin versus placebo in patients with platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer (OC) treated with paclitaxel and carboplatin. Secondary Objectives: * To compare the overall survival (OS) between the 2 treatment arms * To compare the objective response rate (RR) between the 2 treatment arms
NCT01098929
Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) occurs when the diaphragm, the muscle that separates the chest cavity from the abdominal cavity, does not form properly. When an opening is present in the diaphragm, organs that are normally found in the abdomen can move up into the chest cavity. The primary objective of this study is to generate information about the hereditary basis of congenital diaphragmatic hernia and abnormal lung development. Our long-term goal is to identify ways to treat babies in utero with effective but safe drugs to speed up lung development before birth.
NCT00560859
The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of adenotonsillectomy surgery (removal of tonsils and adenoids) on obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) in children. OSAS can cause health problems including poor growth, high blood pressure, diabetes and behavioral and learning difficulties. Although adenotonsillectomy is the usual treatment for children with OSAS, it is not known with any certainty if the child's OSAS symptoms improve afterwards. This study will help determine if improvement occurs or if it does not. It will also look at whether certain groups, such as children who are overweight or of different ethnicities, are helped by the surgery.
NCT00698841
The purpose of this study is to determine whether corrected QT (QTc) interval changes occur on an electrocardiogram (ECG) when cetuximab is administered to the study population.
NCT00047580
This study is being conducted to compare the impact of somnolence (sleepiness) on cognition (awareness) as well as the safety and effectiveness of tizanidine hydrochloride capsules versus Zanaflex® (tizanidine hydrochloride tablets) taken while in the fed state (just after a meal) and in the fasted state (before a meal) in patients with moderate to severe spasticity.
NCT00615836
The purpose of this study was to investigate the long term efficacy and safety of several doses of the Melt formulation of desmopressin in a broad population of adult patients with nocturia.
NCT02162628
The purpose of this study is to compare safety and effectiveness of the Exair Prolapse Repair System for treatment of pelvic organ prolapse to traditional native tissue repair through 36 months of follow-up.
NCT01816295
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate if testosterone solution can raise testosterone hormone levels into the normal range, and also improve levels of sexual arousal, interest and drive and/or energy level, in men with low testosterone and decreased sexual arousal, interest and drive and/or decreased energy. The study will last about 16 weeks, followed by an optional 24 week open label treatment phase to investigate the long term safety of testosterone solution.
NCT00699517
The primary objective of the study is to compare the progression-free survival (PFS) in the 2 treatment arms The secondary objectives of the study are : * To compare the overall survival in the 2 treatment arms * To compare the objective response rate in the 2 treatment arms * To assess the safety profile of AVE8062 (in combination with the background cisplatin therapy) * To assess the pharmacokinetics of AVE8062 and its main metabolite, RPR258063, using a population approach, in all patients enrolled in selected centers.
NCT02224768

NCT00305643
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as capecitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving radiation therapy together with capecitabine may kill more tumor cells. Celecoxib may prevent or lessen hand-foot syndrome caused by capecitabine. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying how well celecoxib works in preventing hand/foot syndrome caused by capecitabine in patients with metastatic breast or colorectal cancer.
NCT01109524
The purpose of the study is to determine if U.S. manufactured Cetuximab can be safely used for the treatment of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer in combination with Cisplatin and Vinorelbine.
