NCT00799877
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety of Humira® in Adult Patients with Chronic Plaque Psoriasis (Ps).
NCT05048251
Patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) experience a wide array of different types of obsessions and compulsions. However, current treatments for OCD employ a "one size fits all" approach and are used for all patients regardless of symptom type. In this project, the investigators propose to investigate whether a novel method of transcranial magnetic stimulation specifically reduces contamination/washing symptoms - one of the most common types of OCD.
NCT03518034
This is a double-blinded and placebo-controlled study of topical testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in symptomatic hypogonadal men with pre-existing cardiovascular disease (CVD) or increased risk for CVD.
NCT03399981
The primary purpose of this study is to estimate the incidence of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) among patients who switched to Tysabri from disease modifying therapies (DMTs), including newer DMTs (including fingolimod, dimethyl fumarate and teriflunomide) and the established DMTs (interferon beta and glatiramer acetate). Researchers will also look to estimate the incidence of other serious opportunistic infections among patients who switch to Tysabri from newer DMTs (including fingolimod, dimethyl fumarate and teriflunomide) and the established DMTs (interferon beta and glatiramer acetate)
NCT01736618
The purpose of the S-ICD Post Approval Study is to document long term safety and effectiveness outcomes associated with the implantation of the SQ-RX pulse generator and Q-TRAK electrode in a commercial clinical setting.
NCT03557086
The goal of this pilot randomized trial is to assess the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of an advanced care planning (ACP) video decision support tool for improving patients' knowledge regarding their goals of care options and end of life (EOL) decision-making in patients with end-stage liver disease (ESLD).
NCT04242771
This is a pilot study evaluating the feasibility and acceptability of a non-pharmacological, mind-body intervention to improve sleep quality, including a preliminary evaluation of neurophysiological signals. The study involves 4 weeks of guided mind-body practice at home using a smartphone app during bedtime and pre/post in-lab sleep study visits.
NCT03290677
This research study is studying cryoablation (a treatment to kill cancer cells with extreme cold) combined with continued treatment with current immune checkpoint inhibitor as a possible treatment for lung cancer.
NCT04431258
A Phase I open label followed by a Phase II randomized, controlled study to assess the efficacy and safety of ABTL0812 in combination with FOLFIRINOX for first-line treatment of metastatic pancreatic. Funded by: FDA OOPD (Grant #FD-R-006817-01), H2020 EIC Accelerator (Grant #954825) and Ability Pharmaceuticals SL.
NCT05826678
This study aims to understand the use of continuous glucose monitors (CGM) in Asian Americans with type 2 diabetes (T2D). Researchers will compare participants on continuous glucose monitors with participants using fingerstick self-monitoring with the aim of answering the following questions: 1. Check if continuous glucose monitoring is doable and consistent for this group, and see how it affects their quality of life. 2. Estimate how well the health outcomes (glucose and lipid markers) vary over the study period. 3. Understand how social and community factors can impact the use of continuous glucose monitors in this group.
NCT03810352
Patients with severe immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) present with similarly low platelet counts but varying bleeding symptoms, making it difficult to predict the disease course and to decide on an appropriate treatment plan. In a single-center study, platelet parameters including the immature platelet fraction, the absolute immature platelet count , and functional response markers were found to be significantly associated with patient bleeding severity, independent of platelet count. This study aims to confirm and replicate these findings in a multi-center patient population and to investigate the use of these parameters to better predict disease severity and bleeding events.
NCT04904276
Evaluate patient characteristics, treatment patterns, clinical outcomes and safety of fostamatinib as second-line therapy in real-world clinical practice, for the treatment of ITP in adult patients who have an insufficient response to prior therapy (steroids ± immunoglobulins).
NCT04276909
This single-site, non-randomized, open-label study to assess the initial safety and efficacy of the LUM Imaging System for detection of primary pancreatic cancer and peritoneal invasion from primary pancreatic cancer during surgery. In this feasibility study, the tumor detection algorithm will be developed for this indication.
NCT04864119
The primary objectives of this study include: * determine the prevalence of coronary artery disease among patients with type 2 myocardial infarction * determine the prevalence of hemodynamically significant stenosis among patients with type 2 myocardial infarction The investigators hypothesize that patients with type 2 myocardial infarction will have a high burden of coronary artery plaque and a high prevalence of obstructive coronary artery disease with hemodynamic significance.
NCT04511819
The therapeutic hypothesis for the use of losmapimod in COVID-19 disease is that increased mortality and severe disease is caused by p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK)-mediated exaggerated acute inflammatory response resulting from SARS-CoV-2 infection. The study Sponsor hypothesizes that the early initiation of p38α/β inhibitor therapy in patients hospitalized with moderate COVID-19 who are at increased risk of a poor prognosis based on older age and elevated systemic inflammation will reduce clinical deterioration including progression to respiratory failure and death. To address this hypothesis, Fulcrum Therapeutics is conducting a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study that will evaluate the safety and efficacy of losmapimod versus placebo in subjects 40 and older who are hospitalized with moderate COVID-19 disease.
NCT03738397
This study will evaluate upadacitinib compared to dupilumab (Dupixent®) in adults with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD) who are candidates for systemic therapy.
NCT06051084
The goal of this clinical trial is to test the efficacy of an app-based program in reducing anxiety and exploring associated changes in brain activity.
NCT04483479
This study will be conducted as an open-label safety follow-on to a multi-center, double-blind, randomized study. All subjects who participated in the randomized study will be offered participation in this unblinded, single-arm, safety study. Approximately 50 subjects will be entered into the study and ENT-01 will be administered daily in escalating doses followed by a fixed dose for 12 weeks. Each subject will participate for approximately 20 weeks; dosing duration will be approximately 14 weeks.
NCT04197986
This is a Phase 3 multicenter, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy of infigratinib (an oral targeted FGFR1-3 inhibitor) versus placebo, as adjuvant treatment following surgery in adult subjects with invasive urothelial carcinoma and susceptible FGFR3 genetic alterations (mutations, and gene fusions or rearrangements) who have disease that is considered at high risk for recurrence with surgery alone. The study enrolls subjects with either bladder cancer post radical cystectomy or upper tract urothelial cancer post distal ureterectomy and/or nephrectomy. Study treatment is randomized 1:1 between infigratinib or placebo with treatment up to 1 year or until invasive local, distal, or metastatic disease recurrence confirmed by independent imaging reviewer.
NCT06225804
This is a first-in-human (FIH), multicenter, non-randomized, openlabel, phase 1 study of ABSK112 in patients with NSCLC to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK, and preliminary antitumor efficacy.
