NCT02449239
Because of the high risk for development of muscle invasive disease, cystectomy is recommended for CIS, high-grade Ta and T1 patients who experience disease recurrence following intravesical therapy. Vicinium is an experimental agent that may provide an alternative to cystectomy
NCT01121107
The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the safety and clinical effectiveness of use of a physician-directed, patient self-management system, guided by left atrial pressure measurements, for use in patients with heart failure. The system allows patients to adjust their HF medications daily based on a physician-directed prescription plan and their current HF status, similar to the manner in which diabetes patients manage their insulin therapy. The goal of the LAPTOP-HF study is to demonstrate reductions in episodes of worsening heart failure (HF) and hospitalizations in patients who are managed with the left atrial pressure (LAP) management system (treatment group) versus those who receive only the current standard of care (control group).
NCT02694978
To evaluate the safety of 1.020 grams (g) of intravenous (IV) ferumoxytol compared to 1.500 g of IV ferric carboxymaltose (FCM).
NCT02942979
This study seeks to implement wrap around services for Veterans suffering from co-occurring mental illness and substance use and who are homeless. It will compare Implementation as Usual of MISSION to Facilitation Implementation of MISSION.
NCT02964897
Veterans leaving incarceration and re-entering their communities (often described as "reentry" Veterans) face a number of challenges, including uncertainty about housing, vulnerability to substance use and relapse, on-going mental health concerns, and often multiple health conditions require timely continuity of care. The purpose of the project is to increase support for Veterans post-incarceration through the addition of trained peers with lived experience of being a Veteran and a history of incarceration. Emphasis will be on peers who will help link Veterans to Veterans Health Administration (VHA) services, including housing and healthcare. Peers will provide linkage with Health Care Reentry Veterans program specialists, transportation to appointments, and support in community reintegration. Peers will assist reentry veterans to make a successful transition and get and stay engaged in their care.
NCT04436497
The HEALEY ALS Platform Trial is a perpetual multi-center, multi-regimen clinical trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of investigational products for the treatment of ALS. Regimen A will evaluate the safety and efficacy of a single study drug, zilucoplan, in participants with ALS.
NCT04016805
Phase 2, two cohort trial evaluating the addition of ublituximab and umbralisib on the rate of minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity in participants with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), who are currently on treatment with ibrutinib, alacabrutinib or venetoclax.
NCT03978520
The main objective of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of elsubrutinib, upadacitinib (UPA), and ABBV-599 (elsubrutinib/upadacitinib) High Dose and Low Dose combinations vs placebo for the treatment of signs and symptoms of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) in participants with moderately to severely active SLE and to define doses for further development.
NCT04793373
The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of EpiFaith® syringe on the establishment of successful epidural labor analgesia, change of elapsed time for identification of epidural space, and learning curve of CA-1 residents.
NCT03416920
The investigators aim to evaluate Wellframe, a patient engagement platform that includes a mobile phone application for patients, for its impact on supporting patients who have undergone a percutaneous coronary intervention. The patient mobile app has articles about cardiovascular disease and other health related topics, patient-reported outcomes surveys, physical activity tracking, reminders for medications and upcoming appointments, and two-way communication with a Wellframe Health Advocate. The Wellframe Health Advocate encourages patients to achieve their health goals and stay engaged in their health. The feasibility of onboarding patients to the app and the clinical efficacy of the platform will be evaluated.
NCT04057794
To assess the feasibility, impact, and participant satisfaction of offering Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified genetic testing as part of clinical care for People with Parkinson's disease (PWP).
NCT01291511
The purpose of this study is to determine whether Iloperidone is effective in the prevention of relapse in patients with schizophrenia
NCT04187144
The study will be conducted to evaluate the therapeutic response (combined per participant microbiological and clinical response) of oral gepotidacin compared to oral nitrofurantoin for treatment of uncomplicated UTI (acute cystitis) in adolescent and adult female participants.
NCT04523220
In this study researchers want to learn about the safety of drug Osocimab at lower-dose and higher-doses in adult participants with kidney disease undergoing regular dialysis (a procedure that uses a machine to get rid of toxins and extra fluids in the blood). Patients with kidney disease undergoing regular dialysis are at high risk for heart and blood vessels diseases. Osocimab is a human monoclonal antibody under development for the prevention of events caused by blood clots like heart attack, stroke and death due to heart or blood vessels diseases. It works by binding to and blocking the activated form of clotting factor XI which increases the formation and stability of clots. Researchers also want to find out how drug Osocimab works in human body and how the body absorbs, distributes and excretes the drug. Participants in this study will receive monthly injection of either Osocimab at a lower-dose or higher-dose or placebo (a placebo looks like a treatment but does not have any medicine in it). Both Osocimab and placebo will be injected into the tissue under the skin of the belly. Observation for each participant will last up to 23 months. Blood samples will be collected from the participants to monitor the safety and measure the blood level of the study drug.
NCT04134728
This study (contRAst 3 \[202018: NCT04134728\]) is a Phase 3, randomized, multicenter, double-blind study to assess the safety and efficacy of GSK3196165 in combination with conventional (cs) DMARD\[s\]) or the treatment of adult participants with moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who have had an inadequate response to biologic (b) DMARD\[s\]) and/or JAK inhibitors. The study will consist of a screening phase of up to 6 weeks followed by 24 week treatment phase in which participants will be randomized in ratio of 6:6:6:1:1:1 to GSK3196165 150 milligrams (mg) subcutaneously (SC) weekly,GSK3196165 90 mg SC weekly, sarilumab 200 mg SC every other week or placebo (three arms) respectively, all in combination with background csDMARD(s). At Week 12, participants in the three placebo arms will switch from placebo to active intervention (either GSK3196165 150 mg SC weekly, GSK3196165 90 mg SC weekly, or sarilumab 200 mg SC every other week). Participants who, in investigator's judgement will benefit from extended treatment with GSK3196165, may be included in the long-term extension study (contRAst X \[209564: NCT04333147\]). Any participant who does not transition into study 209564 will undergo a safety follow-up visit at Week 34 (corresponding to 12 weeks after the last potential dose of sarilumab, at Week 22).
