This phase II/III trial studies how well circulating tumor deoxyribonucleic acid (ctDNA) testing in the blood works in predicting treatment for patients with stage IIA colon cancer after surgery. ctDNA are circulating tumor cells that are shed by tumors into the blood. Finding ctDNA in the blood means that there is very likely some small amounts of cancer that remain after surgery. However, this cancer, if detected, cannot be found on other tests usually used to find cancer, as it is too small. Testing for ctDNA levels may help identify patients with colon cancer after surgery who do benefit, and those who do not benefit, from receiving chemotherapy.

This study will conduct a randomized controlled trial of Cognitive Bias Modification for Interpretation (CBM-I) as an augmentation to treatment as usual for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). CBM-I is a digital intervention designed to directly manipulate interpretation bias through repeated practice on a training task, thereby inducing cognitive changes in a relatively automatic or implicit manner. Specifically, this study will examine the feasibility, acceptability, and clinical outcomes associated with CBM-I. Adults with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) will be recruited from a treatment program for this disorder and participants will be randomly assigned to either receive: 1) up to 12 sessions of CBM-I, or or up to 12 sessions of psychoeducation as a control condition.

The e-OPRA Implant System, is a further development of the OPRA (Osseointegrated Prostheses for the Rehabilitation of Amputees) Implant System, approved under HDE (Humanitarian Device Exemption) H080004. The e-OPRA Implant system is an implant system for direct skeletal anchorage of amputation prostheses. The added feature in the e-OPRA Implant system, is a bidirectional interface into the human body that allows permanent and reliable communication using implanted electrodes. These electrodes will provide long-term stable bioelectric signals for an improved control of the prosthetic limb. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the feasibility of a lower limb amputee with the e-OPRA Implant System exhibiting full neural control over a neuro-mechanical prosthetic system. A maximum of six subjects will be enrolled. Each subject will undergo a surgery where the e-OPRA Implant System will be implanted. The subjects will participate in follow-up sessions of which the last one occurs approximately 24 months after the surgery. This is a prospective, non-randomized, uncontrolled study.

This randomized controlled trial will test the efficacy of "PrEP for Health," a behavioral intervention to improve the use of antiretroviral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among at-risk people who inject drugs (PWID) in two syringe service program (SSP) settings in Lawrence and Boston/Cambridge, Massachusetts. The investigators will equally randomize 200 PWID to receive either (a) the "PrEP for Health" intervention condition involving theory-informed HIV and PrEP education, motivational interviewing, problem-solving and planning, and ongoing patient navigation (n=100), or (b) the standard of care condition involving PrEP information and referrals (n=100). Successful PrEP uptake (via medical/pharmacy records), post-treatment PrEP adherence (assessed at 3 months via drug levels in hair), and longer-term PrEP adherence (assessed at 6 and 12 months via drug levels in hair) will be evaluated. The degree to which intervention efficacy occurs through specific conceptual mediators and differs according to hypothesized moderators will also be evaluated.

The SUGAR-MGH investigators are studying the influence of inherited gene variants on the response to two commonly prescribed type 2 diabetes medications, metformin and glipizide. They hypothesize that variants in genes that are associated with type 2 diabetes or related traits may impact the effect of anti-diabetic medications. In addition, physiological responses to an insulin secretagogue or an insulin sensitizer may shed light on the mechanism of action of reported genetic associations.

The study is a randomized, proof of concept study. 30 patients aged 18 and over with HS will be included in this single center, randomized, double-blind, parallel-group study. Dosage of deucravacitinib will be given according to the investigational regimen as follows: 6 mg po bid for 16 weeks. The study compromises a 4-week screening period, a 16-week study period, and a 4-week follow-up period. The follow-up period consists of a follow-up phone call 4 weeks after the last study drug dose.

Fibromyalgia (FM) is a syndrome with clinical symptoms involving multiple systems. The efficacy of current treatments is inadequate, and more alternative modalities are needed for the management of FM patients. The parasympathetic vagus nerve innervates and integrates sensory, motor, and autonomic systems and has been suggested to play a role in pain modulation. The role of vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) as a treatment option for FM patients is yet to be investigated. The investigators propose to examine the hypothesis that vagus nerve stimulation could improve pain and related comorbid symptoms for FM patients.

The overall objective of this research proposal is to determine whether the predictive value of using plasma concentrations of selected nutrient biomarkers of food intake determined using a single plasma sample either alone or in combination are stronger, objective predictors of subsequent death from coronary heart disease (CHD) or myocardial infarct (MI) compared to selected food intake data derived from subjective, self-reported food frequency questionnaires.

This is a single arm Phase Ib/II, open label, safety, pharmacokinetic and efficacy clinical study in adult patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Patients will be treated with the combination of copanlisib and rucaparib for as long as the patient does not have clinically significant progressive disease and/or unacceptable toxicity and/or as long as the investigator deems that the patient is benefiting from treatment. Treatment may also be stopped if the patient withdraws consent, or study termination occurs.

This is a randomized, double-blind clinical trial of a daily oral dose of 200 mg emtricitabine vs. placebo in 35 participants with biomarker-confirmed MCI or mild to moderate dementia due to Alzheimer's disease. Study duration for each subject participating in the placebo-controlled research study will be approximately 12 months (up to a 3 months Screening Period, Baseline visit (1 month), 6 months of placebo or emtricitabine dosing, and 1 month follow-up). Participants will have up to 2 months to complete all procedures for the month 6 study visit.

This is a two arm, randomized, controlled, blinded, multi-case multi reader (MRMC), retrospective study for the evaluation of the efficacy and safety of an AI/ML technology-based CADe/x developed to detect, localize and characterize malignancy score of pulmonary nodules on LDCT chest scans taken as part of a lung cancer screening program. LDCT DICOM images of patients who underwent routine lung cancer screening will be selected and enrolled into the study. Enrolled scans analyzed by radiologists with the assistance of the Median LCS (formerly iBiopsy) device are compared to the analysis by radiologists without the assistance of the Median LCS device. Figures of merit for patient level and lesion level detection and diagnostic efficacy will be calculated and compared, sub-class analysis will be performed to ensure device generalizability.

This is an open-label, single-dose, multi-center, multinational trial to demonstrate the efficacy of AMT-061 and to further describe its safety profile. The study drug is identified as AAV5-hFIXco-Padua (AMT- 061). AMT-061 is a recombinant adeno-associated viral vector of serotype 5 (AAV5) containing the Padua variant of a codon-optimized human FIX complementary deoxyribonucleic acid (cDNA) under the control of a liver-specific promoter. The pharmaceutical form of AMT-061 is a solution for intravenous infusion administered at a dose of 2 x 10\^13 gc/kg.
