NCT03433131
This EAP will be open to provide access to treatment with pitolisant while a U.S. New Drug Application (NDA) is being prepared and submitted for review for marketing approval. This program will be open to adult patients in the U.S. with Excessive Daytime Sleepiness (EDS) associated with narcolepsy, with or without cataplexy. Pitolisant will be made available through treating physicians participating in the program.
NCT03871270
NIH-Healing Experience in All Life Stressors (NIH-HEALS) is a 35 item self-report questionnaire developed by the NIH Clinical Center Pain and Palliative care. It assesses an individual's mechanisms for coping as a means to reach "healing" during life's difficult situations and/or life limiting challenges. The factorial structure of the tool has been recently re-examined with 200 patients. The three main factors are: Connection (including religious, spiritual, interpersonal), Reflection/ Introspection, and Trust/Acceptance.
NCT01843062
The study is designed to evaluate the clinical efficacy, safety and tolerability of selumetinib with radioactive iodine therapy in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer.
NCT02748837
This is the open label, multicenter Phase 1 study which consists of a dose escalation to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and cohort expansion to obtain a preliminary evaluation of anti-tumor activity. ERY974 is intravenously injected to patients with Glypican 3 positive advanced solid tumors until unacceptable toxicity or disease progression.
NCT02873221
This study will evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of intermittent treatment with ubrogepant for the acute treatment of migraine over 1 year.
NCT02864316
The purpose of this study is to determine whether Nivolumab is effective in the treatment of radiation-induced solid tumors.
NCT02258542
The purpose of this study is to characterize the safety profile of benralizumab administration in asthma patients who have completed one of the three predecessor studies: D3250C00017, D3250C00018 or D3250C00020.
NCT02479386
This study seeks to better characterize relationships between visual function and the progression (worsening) of geographic atrophy (GA) due to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The study is also intended to generate new information on the relationship between genetics and GA progression. This is a global, prospective, multicenter, epidemiologic study enrolling participants with GA secondary to AMD. The study visits are scheduled to occur every 6 months. The anticipated duration of the study is up to 48 months. There is a planned interim analysis around the 2-year time window for the study.
NCT01838876
The objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of cariprazine as an adjunctive treatment to antidepressant therapy (ADT) in patients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).
NCT02547935
The purpose of this clinical research study is to determine whether dapagliflozin alone or in combination with saxagliptin can decrease albuminuria and improve glycemic control in patients with Type 2 diabetes, albuminuria and renal impairment (CKD). The study is planned to randomize a total of 450 patients (150 patients per treatment arm)
NCT02082522
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a combination of a drug, porfimer sodium (Photofrin), which is activated by a light from a laser that emits no heat. This technique works to allow the medical doctor to specifically target and destroy abnormal or cancer cells while limiting damage to surrounding healthy tissue. The activation of the drug is done by lighting the abnormal areas using a fiber optic device (very fine fiber like a fishing line that permits light transmission) inserted into a flexible tube with a light called cholangioscope for the bile duct. The light will activate the porfimer sodium concentrated in the abnormal tissue, leading to its destruction. This research study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of PDT with porfimer sodium administered with Standard Medical Care (SMC) compared to SMC alone on the overall survival time of patients with non-operable advanced cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer of the bile ducts. It will involve 200 patients across North America and Europe. Other countries may participate if needed. Participation will last at least 18 months.
NCT02109770
The purpose of this study is to collect blood from families with a child who has been diagnosed with a chromosomal disorder including microdeletions in order to further develop a non-invasive prenatal screening test based on fetal DNA isolated from maternal blood.
NCT01603641
This study will evaluate the long-term safety of BOTOX® (botulinum toxin Type A) for the treatment of pediatric lower limb spasticity.
NCT02309359
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of dose regimens of ALX-0061 administered subcutaneously (s.c.) in combination with methotrexate (MTX) to subjects with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) despite MTX therapy, compared with placebo. To assess the effects of ALX-0061 on quality of life, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and immunogenicity of ALX-0061, and to define the optimal dose regimen for ALX-0061, based on safety and efficacy, for further clinical development.
NCT02787486
In January 2007, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) revised its guidelines that now recommend physicians are ethically obligated to fully inform all pregnant women that screening for fetal chromosomal abnormalities including biochemical screening tests and invasive procedures such as CVS or amniocentesis is available, regardless of age. Further, it is entirely up to the patient to decide whether or not she wishes to be screened for fetal chromosomal abnormalities without judgment from the physician. Noninvasive laboratory-developed tests (LDTs) that detect an abnormal amount of maternal and fetal DNA in an expectant mother's blood sample (known as circulating cell-free DNA) are now available. These LDTs have not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Although LDTs to date have not been subject to U.S. FDA regulation, certification of the laboratory is required under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) to ensure the quality and validity of the test. To sample collection study will obtain whole blood specimens from pregnant subjects to be used for development of prenatal assays to assist in the screening for fetal genetic abnormalities, infectious and other diseases, and blood group typing through detection of circulating cell-free DNA extracted from maternal plasma.
NCT02287922
The primary objective of this study is: \- To assess the efficacy and safety of dose regimens of ALX-0061 monotherapy administered subcutaneously (s.c.) to subjects with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The secondary objectives of this study are: * To assess the effects of ALX-0061 on quality of life, the pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and immunogenicity of ALX-0061 and to explore potential dose regimens for ALX-0061 monotherapy, based on safety and efficacy, for further clinical development. * To obtain parallel descriptive information concerning the efficacy and safety of tocilizumab (TCZ) s.c. in the same clinical trial RA population.
NCT03785184
This study will evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of venetoclax when combined with lenalidomide and dexamethasone for participants with newly diagnosed, active t(11;14) positive multiple myeloma (MM). This study will consist of 2 parts: Part 1 Dose Escalation and Part 2 Dose Expansion.
NCT01867762
