NCT06015282
This is a Phase 3, randomized, parallel-group, comparator-controlled, observer-blind, multicenter study of immunogenicity and safety in approximately 7700 male and female adults aged 50 years and older (approximately equally split between two age groups: 50-64 years; 65 years and older), who are healthy or have stable comorbidities that increase their risk of complications from influenza infection. Three lots of aQIVc will be evaluated for consistency and pooled for the comparison with the 2 control vaccines. Subjects will be randomly assigned to receive 1 of 3 lots of aQIVc, QIVr, or aQIV in a 1:1:1:2:2 ratio (for a 3:2:2 ratio for aQIVc, QIVr, and aQIV). The study will have a treatment period (Day 1 to Day 29) and a follow-up period (Day 30 up to Day 181); a subset of 770 subjects will be followed up up to Day 365.
NCT01326104
Immunotherapy is a specific approach to treating cancer that has shown promise in adult patients for the treatment of melanoma, malignant brain tumors, and other cancers. The study investigators will use the experience they have gained from these studies to try to improve the outcome for children affected by a recurrent brain tumor. Approximately 35 patients with first recurrence of medulloblastoma (reMB)/supratentorial primitive neuroectodermal tumors (PNETs) will be treated with tumor-specific immune cells and dendritic cell vaccines to see what impact they have on the tumor.
NCT02473289
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of sirukumab as adjunctive treatment to antidepressant therapy (monoaminergic antidepressant) where sirukumab (administered as a 50 milligram (mg) subcutaneous (SC) injection at Day 1, Day 28 and Day 56 during the 12- week double-blind treatment period) is compared to adjunctive placebo based on the change from baseline to 12-week endpoint in depressive symptoms as measured by the total score on the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS), in participants diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have had a suboptimal response to the current standard oral antidepressant therapy and have a screening high sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP) \>=0.300 milligram per deciliters (mg/dL) (International System of Units (SI) 3.00 mg/L). A cohort of subjects with hsCRP \<0.300 milligram per deciliter will also be enrolled to allow a better understanding of the relationship between CRP and clinical changes.
NCT02497287
The purpose of this open-label, multicenter study is to assess the long term safety and efficacy of intranasal esketamine plus an oral antidepressant in participants with treatment-resistant depression (TRD).
NCT04730271
The purpose of this post-market research study is to gather clinical and radiographic (X-ray) information about total knee replacement surgeries completed with the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution and with standard manual instrumentation. The VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution helps the surgeon to plan bone cuts and then accurately achieve the planned cuts during the total knee replacement surgery. The study aims to compare how well the VELYS Robotic-Assisted system enables the surgeon to position the implants exactly as planned compared to manual instrumentation.
NCT04301193
In this study the investigators will evaluate a new point of care Quantra Hemostasis Analyzer system to assess coagulation rapidly with ease.
NCT03954574
The purpose of this Clinical Research Collaboration is to investigate the prognostic implications of pulmonary hemodynamics during exercise based on a large scale multi-centre approach by using retrospective and prospective analysis of hemodynamic data.
NCT04599855
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of each individual dose of esketamine nasal spray, 56 milligram (mg) and 84 mg, compared with placebo nasal spray in improving depressive symptoms in participants with treatment resistant depression (TRD), as assessed by the change from baseline in the Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) total score from Day 1 (prerandomization) to the end of the 4 week double-blind treatment phase (Day 28).
NCT03170518
The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of canagliflozin relative to placebo on glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) after 26 weeks of treatment, and to assess the overall safety and tolerability of canagliflozin.
NCT01731990
This study was designed to assess the safety, tolerability and efficacy of ACZ885 on the leg artery structure and physical activity in patients with atherosclerotic peripheral artery disease and leg pain from walking.
NCT04113434
The overall goal of the study is to risk stratify pediatric Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) patients and to identify sub-phenotypes with shared biology in order to appropriately target therapies in future trials. This is a prospective, multicenter study of 500 intubated children with ARDS, with planned blood collection within 24 hours of ARDS onset and subsequent measurement of plasma protein biomarkers and peripheral blood gene expression.
NCT03238365
This randomized pilot early phase I trial studies how well nivolumab with or without tadalafil work in treating patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma that has come back and can be removed by surgery. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Tadalafil may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving nivolumab and tadalafil may work better in treating patients head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
NCT04533529
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy of seltorexant compared with placebo as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant in improving depressive symptoms in participants with major depressive disorder with insomnia symptoms (MDDIS) who have had an inadequate response to current antidepressant therapy with an selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) in double-blind treatment phase and to assess the long-term safety and tolerability of seltorexant as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant in participants with major depressive disorder (MDD) in open-label treatment phase.
NCT03796026
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of multiple doses of seltorexant compared with placebo on respiration during sleep in adult participants with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea.
NCT05252533
The purpose of the study is to evaluate pharmacokinetics (PK) of ustekinumab in juvenile psoriatic arthritis (jPsA) and pediatric psoriasis (PsO).
