NCT05505916
This is an open-label, multicenter extension trial to evaluate the long-term safety of KVD900 in patients who are 12 years or older with HAE type I or II.
NCT05521698
This phase I trial evaluates the effects of apalutamide, compared to placebo, on epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) protein expression in patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. Apalutamide is in a class of medications called androgen receptor inhibitors. It works by blocking the effects of androgen (a male reproductive hormone) to stop the growth and spread of tumor cells. Previous studies have suggested that expression of a protein called EGFR on tumor cells is related to bladder cancer disease progression. This trial may help doctors evaluate if apalutamide has any effect on EGFR expression in patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
NCT06814717
This is a Phase 2a, open-label, single-dose study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and PK profile of cP12 in 6 male and female subjects with thermal burns of up to and including 10% TBSA. Enrolled subjects must have at least 1% superficial (epidermal), superficial partial-thickness, or deep partial-thickness burns. Eligible subjects will receive a single administration of 0.01 mg/kg cP12. Vital signs, ECGs, and blood samples and urine samples will be obtained at screening and at several time points during the study for safety evaluation. Burn and pain assessments will be completed at specified times. Subjects will remain at the clinical site for at least 6 hours post infusion for the purpose of safety monitoring and evaluation of other study assessments. Subsequent evaluations will be performed at the clinical site 3 (±1) days and 7 (±2) days after dosing. Subjects will return to the clinical site 14 (±2) days after dosing for an End-of-Study visit.
NCT06581406
The purpose of this study is to measure the clinical benefits of the combination of RP2 and nivolumab as compared with the combination of nivolumab and ipilimumab in patients with metastatic uveal melanoma who have not been treated with immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
NCT05303064
To compare changes in body mass index (BMI) Z-score following treatment with OLZ/SAM vs olanzapine
NCT04223778
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of a switch to MK-8591A (a fixed dose combination of doravirine and islatravir) in human immunodeficiency virus -1 (HIV-1)-infected participants virologically suppressed on a protocol-specified antiretroviral regimen. The primary hypothesis is that a switch to MK-8591A will be non-inferior to continued treatment with baseline antiretroviral therapy (ART) as assessed by the percentage of participants with HIV-1 ribonucleic acid (RNA) ≥50 copies/mL at Week 48.
NCT06548828
The effects of consuming non-nutritive sweeteners (NNS) during pregnancy and lactation on infant obesity and cardiometabolic disease risk are not well understood. In this project, pregnant women who frequently consume NNS will be randomly assigned to an NNS-restriction intervention (NNS restriction during pregnancy and lactation or during lactation only) or a control group (no NNS restriction) to determine whether NNS consumption during pregnancy and/or lactation affects infant body composition, maternal blood sugar during pregnancy, and the infants' gut microbiome and metabolome. The results of this study have the potential to shape recommendations around NNS consumption during pregnancy and lactation, thereby potentially improving maternal and infant metabolic health and reducing the global burden of obesity and cardiometabolic disease.
NCT03755362
Periodontal Disease (PD) is present in 60+% of adults \>65 years and is associated with tobacco smoking, diabetes, and atherosclerosis that worsen inflammation, comorbidities common in older people with mild to moderate cognitive impairment (MCI). Older MCI patients are prone to poor oral hygiene and dental health, which if untreated worsens inflammation-mediated brain and nervous system function, and accelerates progression to dementia. Asymptomatic carotid artery stenosis (ACAS) is often a silent disease detected in only \~10% of older adults, and may have a strong association with MCI. This study examines the effects of intensive therapy for periodontitis on cognition in high-risk older people with ACAS. Results could highlight PD as a readily modifiable risk factor for dementia.
NCT05163301
3-arm type 1 pilot implementation-efficacy trial for people with alcohol use disorders to examine the preliminary effectiveness and feasibility of an adapted 2-session, computerized and person delivered relapse prevention intervention.
NCT04626596
The primary purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of the etonogestrel (ENG) contraceptive implant during participants' fourth and fifth years of use when used as the only method of contraception. The ENG implant is currently approved for a 3-year duration, and this study aims to confirm available evidence suggesting that the ENG implant remains highly effective when used up to 5 years.
NCT03995966
At least one quarter of the 18 million persons in the US with intellectual and developmental disabilities engage in self-injurious behavior (SIB), which can result in injuries, disfigurement, and loss of function (e.g., blindness). SIB that persists in the absence of social reinforcement has been referred to as automatically maintained SIB (ASIB). Research has shown that the sensitivity of ASIB to disruption by alternative reinforcement is identifiable in a standardized assessment, predicts response to treatment, and provides a quantifiable basis for subtyping ASIB. This research has also identified two subtypes that are highly resistant to behavioral treatment using reinforcement alone, necessitating the use of protective equipment and other procedures to minimize injury. The proposed study is a clinical trial that will allow systematic comparison of the effectiveness of two behavioral treatments targeting treatment-resistant subtypes of ASIB.
NCT04817761
The purpose of this phase 2/3 study is to confirm the recommended doses and to evaluate the safety and pharmacodynamics of Calaspargase pegol for the treatment of adult patients with Philadelphia-negative Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
NCT05593029
Demonstrate ability of SEP-363856 to be superior to placebo as an adjunctive therapy to ADT in change from baseline in depressive symptoms (MADRS \& CGI-S) in MDD patients who had an inadequate response to prior ADT therapy.
NCT06299826
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of AZD5462 on cardiac function in participants with chronic heart failure (HF).
NCT04589650
This is a prospective Phase II multi-center study with an initial 16-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled period, followed by two extension periods to assess the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics (PK) of alpelisib in pediatric and adult patients with PIK3CA-related overgrowth spectrum (PROS)
NCT04754945
This phase I trial studies the side effects of isatuximab and to see how well it works in treating patients with high risk immunoglobulin light chain amyloidosis (AL amyloidosis). Isatuximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
NCT06483334
This study is a substudy being conducted under one pembrolizumab umbrella master study KEYMAKER-U04. The substudy will consist of 2 parts. Part 1 will evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of sacituzumab tirumotecan plus enfortumab vedotin (EV). Part 2 will be based on Part 1 results and will evaluate the efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety of sacituzumab tirumotecan plus EV in combination with pembrolizumab in participants with advanced urothelial carcinoma.
NCT03587740
This research study is studying an investigational drug as a possible treatment for breast cancer that is positive for the protein Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2, also known as HER2-positive breast cancer. The drug involved in this study is: -ado-trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1)
NCT07417774
The goal of this sub-study of the RESTORE trial is to identify biomarkers associated with tumor hypoxia, identify biomarkers that differentiate pseudoprogression from true progression, and correlate biomarkers with clinical outcomes.
NCT05712421
The North Star study is a multi-center, Phase 2, double-blind, randomized, parallel group clinical study to evaluate the safe and effective dose conversion from Levothyroxine to North Star therapy.
