This phase II trial studies how well efatutazone dihydrochloride works in treating patients with previously treated myxoid liposarcoma that cannot be removed by surgery. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as efatutazone dihydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.
NCT04490109
This is a double-blind, randomized, vehicle-controlled study to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of 2 doses of B244 for the treatment of pruritus in adults with a history of atopic dermatitis. Subjects who meet the study entry criteria will be randomized in a 1:1:1 ratio to receive twice daily topical doses of B244 O.D. 5.0, B244 O.D. 20.0, or vehicle (placebo) for 4 weeks.
NCT03220035
This phase II Pediatric MATCH trial studies how well vemurafenib works in treating patients with solid tumors, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, or histiocytic disorders with BRAF V600 mutations that have spread to other places in the body (advanced) and have come back (recurrent) or do not respond to treatment (refractory). Vemurafenib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT02694809
The main purpose of this study is to determine if taking the study drug, conjugated estrogens/bazedoxifene (Duavee®) causes any changes in the proliferation markers within the breast tissue of the study subjects. The study drug is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration in healthy postmenopausal women to treat certain symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes. Since it is not approved in women with DCIS, its use in this study is experimental. This study will also look at whether taking the study drug causes any significant or undesirable side effects in women with DCIS. The researchers hope that this study will help them determine if taking the study drug is safe in women taking DCIS and if it can possibly reduce the risk of developing breast cancer in women with DCIS.
NCT01690624
Patients with acute myeloid leukemia who experience a relapse after at least one prior regimen may be enrolled in this trial. In addition, acute myeloid leukemia patients who are in complete remission with high risk to relapse may be eligible for this trial. The trial will examine whether monotherapy with BI 836858 is safe and tolerable at escalating dose levels.
NCT02152137
This phase II trial studies how well inolitazone dihydrochloride (efatutazone dihydrochloride) and paclitaxel work in treating patients with anaplastic thyroid cancer that has spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as efatutazone dihydrochloride and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.
NCT04279236

NCT04273594
The trial objectives include evaluating the adequacy of proposed mitigations for the previous pivotal trial of the FemBloc Permanent Contraceptive System and validating the confirmation procedure by comparing FemChec (ultrasound) to fluoroscopic hysterosalpingogram (fluoro HSG) for post-occlusion in the same patient.
NCT06734117
This prospective, non-interventional, single arm, longitudinal cohort multicenter study will recruit approximately 5600 consecutive all-comers, consisting of patients with signs and symptoms of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) who present in the emergency department (ED). The main objective of the study is to determine the clinical performance of Elecsys Troponin T hs Gen 6 versus the centrally adjudicated clinical diagnosis at various time points after ED presentation using the previously determined clinical cut-off of a universal 99th percentile upper reference limit.
NCT03523572
This is a study of trastuzumab deruxtecan for the treatment of HER2-positive unresectable or metastatic breast cancer following two or more prior anti-HER2 based regimens. Participants will receive this study drug along with a cancer drug, an immune checkpoint inhibitor, anti-PD1, called nivolumab. The study will be done in two parts: * Part 1 is to identify the recommended dose to use for treatment. * Part 2 is to find out how well the combination works, and how safe and tolerable it is.
NCT05348577
This study will assess the efficacy and safety of capivasertib plus docetaxel versus placebo plus docetaxel in participants with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), all participants will receive the docetaxel with steroid therapy and receive androgen deprivation therapy. The intention of the study is to demonstrate that the combination of capivasertib plus docetaxel is superior to placebo plus docetaxel with respect to the overall survival and/or the radiographic progression free survival of study participants.
NCT06524635
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) and atopic dermatitis (AD) are chronic inflammatory skin diseases that lead to the development of skin lesions and symptoms such as pain and discomfort. The purpose of this study is to assess molecular changes in adult participants with moderate to severe HS or with moderate to severe AD. Lutikizumab (ABT-981) is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of HS and AD. This study will consist of 2 sub-studies: Sub-Study 1 moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa and Sub-Study 2 moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. Approximate 60 participants will be enrolled in the study at approximately 2 sites in the US. In Sub-Study 1 HS participants will receive subcutaneous (SC) injections of lutikizumab for up to week 15 with a 70-day follow-up period. In Sub-Study 2 AD, participants will receive subcutaneous (SC) injections of lutikizumab for up to week 14 with a 70-day follow-up period. The study duration for Sub-Studies 1 and 2 is expected to last up to 30 weeks. Participants in Sub-Study 1 (HS) who complete Week 16 and showed a therapeutic benefit to lutikizumab, as confirmed by the investigator, will have the option to enter an open-label long-term extension (LTE) to continue to receive lutikizumab for up to an additional 140 weeks, followed by a 70-day follow-up period. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic and may require frequent medical assessments, blood tests, and biomarker collections.
