NCT01074294
This study tests the effects of an investigational antipsychotic drug (called OPC-34712) in adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) when taken with an approved stimulant medication to explore a possible impact on sleep, quality of life and cognitive function.
NCT04149535
To demonstrate that use of the Sentinel® Cerebral Protection System significantly reduces the risk of peri-procedural stroke (≤72 hours) after transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
NCT03919994
The objectives of this study are to describe characteristics, treatment patterns, and outcomes of patients with schizophrenia newly initiated on 1 of 4 FDA-approved atypical Long Acting Injectable (LAI) antipsychotics (ABILIFY MAINTENA®, ARISTADA®, INVEGA SUSTENNA® or RISPERDAL CONSTA®)
NCT03894046
This is a 2-part study, with Part A being the randomized, controlled portion of the study in patients with ABC hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia (HABP), ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia (VABP), or bacteremia. Part B is the single-group portion of the study and includes ABC infections that are resistant to or have failed colistin or polymyxin B treatment, as detailed in the inclusion criteria.
NCT05705843
Purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of intravenous and intraosseous antibiotic administration techniques during tourniquetless total knee arthroplasty.
NCT04610047
This is a Phase 2b, multi-center, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study of NKT versus placebo in otherwise healthy adults presenting with acute uncomplicated ILI due to influenza or other respiratory viruses in a community setting.
NCT03616912
The reason for this study is to see how effective and safe the study drug known as baricitinib is in participants with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
NCT03802630
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of brolucizumab in treatment of patients with macular edema (ME) secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO).
NCT02990806
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate similarity of NI-071 (proposed biosimilar to infliximab) to US REMICADE® (reference product) in terms of safety and efficacy in participants with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) not adequately responding to methotrexate (MTX).
NCT03624127
The purpose of this study is to investigate the experimental medication BMS-986165 compared to placebo and a currently available treatment in participants with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
NCT03751007
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of different doses of AG019 administered alone or in combination with teplizumab in participants with recent-onset type 1 diabetes (T1D).
NCT05508568
The objective of this prospective, multi-centre study is to evaluate the performance of ADXBLADDER, a urine MCM5 ELISA test, as an aid in the detection of bladder cancer recurrence. Patients undergoing cystoscopic surveillance in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) follow-up will be recruited and asked to provide a urine sample to be tested with ADXBLADDER. To assess the diagnostic accuracy of the test, the MCM5 results will be compared with the gold standard cystoscopy and pathology of resected tissue.
NCT02713529
A multi-center Phase 1b/2 study testing the combination of AMG 820 and pembrolizumab in subjects with select advanced solid tumors.
NCT03164967
This study is part of the BIVIGAM® post marketing requirement (PMR). It is being conducted in subjects aged 2-16 with primary immune deficiency disorders associated with defects in humoral immunity to generate additional data on these populations, and more specifically safety and pharmacokinetic (PK) assessments.
NCT02420821
This multi-center, randomized, open-label study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of atezolizumab plus bevacizumab versus sunitinib in participants with inoperable, locally advanced, or metastatic RCC who have not received prior systemic active or experimental therapy, either in the adjuvant or metastatic setting.
NCT03706612
Identify the unique associations of body shape to body composition and bone density indices in a pediatric population that represents the variance of sex, age, BMI-Z, and ethnicity found in the US population. Describe the precision and accuracy of optical scans to monitor change in body composition, bone density and metabolic health interventions. Estimate the level of association of optical to common health indicators including metabolic risk factors (glucose, triglycerides, HDL-cholesterol, blood pressure, VAT, WC and strength) by gender, race, age, and BMI-Z. Investigate holistic, high-resolution descriptors of 3D body shape as direct predictors of body composition and metabolic risk using statistical shape models and Latent Class Analysis.
NCT04780295
This online-based, observational retrospective registry aims to (i) study the rate of cardiovascular events, encompassing venous thromboembolic and arterial events, in consecutive hospitalized patients with coronavirus (Covid19), (ii) investigate the prevalent use of thromboprophylaxis, (iii) describe the use of imaging tests for the detection of cardiovascular events in patients with Covid19. This will also facilitate and constitute the basis for the conduction of interventional thromboprophylaxis studies in patients with Covid19.
NCT00326690
The purpose of the present prospective, randomized study is to investigate the clinical effectiveness of standardized left ventricular reconstruction surgery (LVR). In order to standardize the procedure, the operation will be performed with the Blue Egg, manufactured by BioVentrix, a subsidiary of CHF Technologies, Inc.
NCT03484143
The active Neuro RX Gamma device uses non-invasive near-infrared energy delivered to the brain with the intention to improve cognitive functioning and quality of life in patients with moderate to severe Alzheimer's Disease. Treatment will occur at home-based treatment sessions with the device.
NCT02827214
Thoracolumbar (TL) burst fractures in neurologically intact patients account for approximately 45% of all TL spine injuries. Despite being common fractures, there is significant variability in treatment recommendations encompassing surgery and non-surgical treatment options. The controversy regarding optimal treatment for these injuries is fueled by several studies which suggest a potential benefit to surgical treatment in the realm of patient satisfaction, and the overall socio-economic burden of treatment while other studies demonstrate improved outcomes and lower morbidity with non-surgical treatment. This study aims to perform a prospective cohort analysis investigating the clinical outcome of various treatment alternatives for patients with A3/A4 fractures in the thoracolumbar region. A cost-effectiveness analysis will also be performed to identify costs and benefits of each treatment option. More specifically a sub-group analysis will be performed for this group of patients, which have equipoise in regards to patients treatment, as decided by a blinded review panel.
