NCT04171765
This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of BFKB8488A compared to placebo in participants with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
NCT01564368
RATIONALE: Imaging procedures, such as diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI), may help in evaluating how well patients with breast cancer respond to treatment. PURPOSE: This research trial studies DWI and DCE-MRI in assessing treatment response in patients with breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
NCT02389855
The NeuroBlate® System (NBS), is a minimally invasive robotic laser thermotherapy tool. It employs a pulsed surgical laser to deliver targeted energy to abnormal brain tissue caused by tumors and lesions. Since receiving FDA clearance in April 2013, the NBS has been used in nearly 300 procedures conducted at approximately 20 leading institutions across the United States. This post-market, multi-center retrospective study is designed to collect long-term follow-up data on patients who were treated previously with NBS.
NCT02880410
Multicenter, open-label, prospective designed study to characterize the performance of brain laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) ablation using the Monteris NeuroBlate System in combination with standard of care radiation therapy and temozolomide for the treatment of newly diagnosed glioblastomas (GBM).
NCT04279314
To investigate the safety and tolerability of long-term treatment with oral trofinetide in girls and women with Rett syndrome
NCT03815695
FT-4202 is an oral small-molecule agonist of pyruvate kinase red blood cell isozyme (PKR) being developed for the treatment of hemolytic anemias. This initial study will characterize the safety, tolerability and the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of a single ascending dose and multiple ascending doses of FT-4202 in the context of Phase 1 studies in healthy volunteers and sickle cell disease patients. The effects of food on the absorption of FT-4202 will also be evaluated in healthy volunteers.
NCT00812838
Peyronie's disease is a condition in which a plaque, or hard lump, forms on the penis. It causes hardened tissue, pain, and an abnormal bending in the penis. These symptoms are more severe during an erection. Significant bending of the penis can result in pain, poor erections, and an inability to engage in sexual intercourse. This disease affects about 3% of the male population. The average age of onset of this disease is 57 years old. The cause of the disease is unknown. However, many believe that it may be due to trauma to the penis (such as injury or extremely vigorous sexual activity).
NCT02266745
This is a Phase 1/2, open-label, multi-center, non-randomized, dose-escalation study to be conducted in two parts: the Dose Escalation Phase and the Dose Expansion Phase. The Dose Escalation Phase will determine the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) and recommended Phase 2 dose(s) (RP2D) of PT-112 Injection and evaluate its safety and tolerability, and PK (pharmacokinetics). The Dose Escalation Phase is complete and no longer enrolling. The Dose Expansion Phase has two cohorts: one cohort for the study of PT-112 in patients with thymoma and thymic carcinoma (Cohort A), and one cohort for the study of PT-112 in metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) (Cohort D).
NCT02519322
This randomized phase II trial studies how well nivolumab with or without ipilimumab or relatlimab before surgery works in treating patients with stage IIIB-IV melanoma that can be removed by surgery. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, ipilimumab, and relatlimab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving nivolumab alone or in combination with ipilimumab or relatlimab before surgery may make the tumor smaller and reduce the amount of normal tissue that needs to be removed.
NCT03959241
1703: The study is designed as a randomized, phase III, multicenter trial comparing two acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) prophylaxis regimens: tacrolimus/methotrexate (Tac/MTX) versus post-transplant cyclophosphamide/tacrolimus/mycophenolate mofetil (PTCy/Tac/MMF) in the setting of reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) transplantation. 1801: The goal of this protocol is to test the primary hypothesis that the engraftment stool microbiome diversity predicts one-year non-relapse mortality in patients undergoing reduced intensity allogeneic HCT.
NCT06361485
This is a Pilot Study that is an open label, prospective, non-controlled study in which the safety and feasibility of Wharton's Jelly (WJ) allograft will be evaluated in 100 participants suffering with low back pain.
NCT04987138
Evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Zenflow Spring System in relieving LUTS associated with BPH.
NCT04599972
This is a 4-visit, multi-center, randomized, double-masked, vehicle-controlled study evaluating the safety and efficacy of CSF-1 in the temporary correction of presbyopia.
NCT01942135
The study is a randomized, double blind, placebo controlled, Phase 3 clinical trial with the primary objective of demonstrating the superiority of palbociclib in combination with fulvestrant (Faslodex®) over fulvestrant alone in prolonging PFS in women with HR+, HER2 negative metastatic breast cancer whose disease has progressed after prior endocrine therapy. The safety between the two treatment arms will also be compared. During study treatment, pre- and perimenopausal women must be receiving therapy with the LHRH agonist goserelin (Zoladex® or generic).
NCT04809623
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of edecesertib (formerly GS-5718) in participants with cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) with or without systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
NCT02054741
This cluster randomized clinical trial compares a geriatric assessment intervention with usual care for reducing cancer treatment toxicity in older patients with cancer that has spread to other places in the body. A geriatric assessment may identify risk factors for cancer treatment toxicity and may improve outcomes for older patients with advanced cancer.
NCT05660577
The objective of this study is to evaluate the product performance of a new silicone hydrogel daily disposable multifocal contact lens, the Bausch + Lomb (kalifilcon A) Daily Disposable Multifocal Contact Lens, when worn by current soft contact lens wearers on a daily disposable wear basis
NCT04593121
The primary objective is to determine the safety and tolerability of single and multiple ascending subcutaneous (SC) doses and a single intravenous (IV) dose of BIIB107 in healthy adult participants. The secondary objectives are to characterize the single-dose pharmacokinetic (PK) of SC and IV BIIB107 in healthy adult participants and to characterize the multiple-dose PK of SC BIIB107 in healthy adult participants.
NCT02782741
Primary Objective: To determine the effect of avalglucosidase alfa treatment on respiratory muscle strength measured by percent (%) predicted forced vital capacity (FVC) in the upright position, as compared to alglucosidase alfa. Secondary Objective: To determine the safety and effect of avalglucosidase alfa treatment on functional endurance (6-minute walk test, inspiratory muscle strength (maximum inspiratory pressure), expiratory muscle strength (maximum expiratory pressure), lower extremity muscle strength (hand-held dynamometry), motor function (Quick Motor Function Test), and health-related quality of life (Short Form-12).
