NCT00363454
Phase I dose escalation study of Triciribine Phosphate Monohydrate (TCN-PM) in patients with metastatic cancer whose tumors must be shown to be p-Akt positive. Study patients will be recruited from a Moffitt Cancer Center companion study (MCC-14474) "Immunohistochemical study of phosphorylated Akt in solid malignancies." Each treatment cycle will consist of four weeks with TCN-PM being administered weekly (days 1, 8 and 15 every 28 days). Labs, vital signs (BP, HR, Resp Rate, Temp), and hematology and serum chemistry profile are to be performed weekly and/or prior to each treatment dose. Body Surface Area (BSA) should be calculated approximately every 8 weeks. Imaging studies (CT/MRI of chest, abdomen, and pelvis) and tumor response assessments will be performed every eight weeks or more frequently if indicated. Unless unacceptable toxicity occurs, the duration of treatment will be based on tumor reassessment.
NCT00881023
The Cartilage Autograft Implantation System (CAIS) is designed as a single surgical treatment of damaged knee cartilage using the subject's own healthy cartilage obtained from a non-weight or low weight-bearing region. CAIS is indicated for the repair of articular cartilage lesions and osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) of the knee through cartilage regeneration.
NCT00377234
This 2 arm crossover study will evaluate patient reported preference for either once monthly Boniva (150mg p.o.) or once weekly risedronate (35mg p.o.). Patients with post-menopausal osteoporosis will be randomized to receive Boniva for 3 calendar months or risedronate for 12 weeks; they will then cross over to receive the alternative treatment for a further 12 weeks/3 months. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
NCT00326963
This single arm study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of a new investigational protease inhibitor (PI) plus background antiretrovirals plus Fuzeon (90mg sc bid) in HIV-1 infected, triple-class treatment-experienced, Fuzeon-naive adults. The new investigational PI will be administered according to the procedures of the early access program in which the patient is enrolled. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is approximately 120 individuals.
NCT00962832
This is a Phase II, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rontalizumab compared with placebo in patients with moderately to severely active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
NCT01242527
The primary objective of the study is to determine the efficacy of Epanova (omefas) compared to placebo in lowering serum triglycerides in subjects with severe hypertriglyceridemia.
NCT01517295
Objective is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics profile of hydrocodone's metabolite hydromorphone in patients who are taking hydrocodone on a routine basis for more than 3 months for chronic pain and correlate hydromorphone levels to their hydrocodone usage.
NCT01116245
Cervical cancer is associated with Human Papilloma Virus. About 57% of cervical cancer is the result of infection by Human Papilloma Virus strain 16 (HPV-16). HPV is a very common virus that can affect the cells of the cervix. E7 is a substance that is made by the HPV virus which causes cervical cancer. The purpose of the study is to test the safety, tolerability (how the drug makes you feel), immunology (effects on the immune system) and efficacy (disease curing effects) of a vaccine called Lovaxin C against E7. The vaccine is designed to cause the immune system to react against the E7 substance in a manner that is intended to reverse the changes to the cervix and prevent cervical cancer from occurring.
NCT01336465
This Phase II study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rhuMAb Beta7 in patients with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis.
NCT01479595
This study is designed to investigate the efficacy and safety of QBX258 in subjects with moderate to severe asthma.
NCT00656136
This randomized, double-blind, multi-center Phase IIb/III trial will be performed in patients with NSCLC who have received previous treatment with at least one but not more than two lines of cytotoxic chemotherapy (one line must have been a platinum-containing regimen) and either gefitinib or erlotinib for a period of at least 12 weeks and then progressed. The primary objective of this randomized trial is to determine the efficacy of BIBW 2992 as a single agent (Arm A) as compared to a matching placebo (Arm B) in this patient population. Patients on both treatment arms will receive best supportive care in addition to study treatment. Patients enrolled into the trial will be treated and followed until death or lost to follow-up.
NCT02128542
This study will examine the safety, tolerability, and antiviral efficacy of sofosbuvir (SOF)+ribavirin (RBV) in treatment-naive and treatment-experienced United States Veterans with compensated cirrhosis and genotype 2 HCV infection.
NCT02248246
This is a prospective, non-randomized, single arm, multicenter, observational study to assess the initial clinical experience with the Harmonic ACE®+7 Shears by evaluating vessel sealing during laparoscopic colectomy. The study will not modify or influence current surgeon technique. Investigators will perform each procedure using the device in compliance with their standard surgical approach and product labeling. The Harmonic ACE®+7 Shears is cleared for commercial distribution and will be used in accordance with approved product labeling. The Harmonic ACE®+7 Shears will be assembled, calibrated, and/or used in accordance with manufacturer design specifications, product instructions and guidelines.

NCT01559844
The primary objective is to determine if the administration of a combination of sofosbuvir (SOF; GS-7977; PSI-7977) and ribavirin (RBV) to HCV-infected adults with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) meeting the MILAN criteria prior to undergoing liver transplantation could prevent post-transplant re-infection as determined by a sustained post-transplant virological response (HCV RNA \< LLoQ) at 12 weeks post-transplant. Participants will enroll in the pretransplant treatment phase (24 or 48 weeks). Participants enrolling for 24 weeks in the pretransplant treatment phase may receive treatment for up to an additional 24 weeks in the pretransplant retreatment phase. Participants enrolling for 48 weeks in the pretransplant treatment will have a second baseline at Week 24 for combined analysis in the pretransplant retreatment phase. Participants who undergo liver transplant will stop all study drug 24 hours prior to transplant, and enter a 48-week follow-up phase to monitor for recurrent HCV infection.
