NCT02545049
The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether oral finerenone (study drug), in addition to standard daily therapy, is effective and safe in treating patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic kidney disease, when compared to a placebo.
NCT01547741
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of breast cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving the drugs in different combinations may kill more breast cancer cells. Giving combination chemotherapy after surgery may kill any tumor cells that remain after surgery. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying different combination chemotherapy regimens and their side effects and comparing how well they work in treating women with non-metastatic breast cancer.
NCT01844232
Clinical protocol OS440-3003 is a multicenter, open-label, non-randomized, uncontrolled, dose escalation study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of Arbaclofen Extended Release Tablets over 1 year in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) subjects with spasticity. All subjects in this study will receive arbaclofen in the extended release tablet formulation.
NCT03630809
The purpose of this study is to learn more about how to treat patients with a diagnosis of diagnosis of Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2/neu (HER-2/neu) positive breast cancer in the past, who were previously treated with HER-2/neu-directed dendritic cells (DC) vaccines. There is evidence that the use of anti-HER2 dendritic cell (DC) study vaccines could improve response to breast cancer therapy and be an important step in the prevention of recurrence. This study will use a Dendritic Cell Type 1 (DC1) vaccine which is a HER2-sensitized dendritic cell (DC) study vaccine. Dendritic cells are immune cells that can tell the participant's immune system to fight infection. This study vaccine will be made from the participant's blood cells collected from a procedure called leukapheresis.
NCT01721746
The purpose of the study is to estimate the response rate and compare overall survival of patients taking BMS-936558 to those taking study physician's choice of either Dacarbazine or Carboplatin and Paclitaxel
NCT00084656
RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies can locate tumor cells and either kill them or deliver tumor-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. Vaccines may make the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells. Combining the vaccines with Montanide ISA-51 may cause a stronger immune response and kill more tumor cells. Giving monoclonal antibody therapy together with vaccine therapy may be an effective treatment for stage III or stage IV melanoma. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving monoclonal antibody therapy together with vaccine therapy works in treating patients with resected stage III or stage IV melanoma.
NCT01047501
The primary objective is to determine the efficacy of AMR101 (ethyl icosapentate) compared to placebo in lowering high fasting triglyceride levels in patients with high risk for cardiovascular disease and fasting triglyceride levels ≥ 200 and \< 500 mg/dL.
NCT01660035
The purpose of the REVERSE Post Approval Study (PAS) is to confirm the benefit observed in the REVERSE and RAFT pivotal studies in "real-world" clinical practice.
NCT03682263
The purpose of this study is to determine whether offering an evidence-based package of employment supports integrated with mental health services has a positive impact on employment and clinical recovery, and delays or diminishes the need for disability benefits.
NCT01047683
The primary objective is to determine the efficacy of AMR101 (ethyl icosapentate) compared to placebo in lowering fasting triglyceride levels in patients with very high fasting triglyceride levels ≥ 500 and ≤ 2000 mg/dL.
NCT03846453
The objective of this study was to compare the safety and efficacy of 0.25% HL036 Ophthalmic Solutions to placebo for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye.
NCT01227616
The objectives of this study are to compare the efficacy and safety of repeat doses of intravenous (IV) ferumoxytol with IV iron sucrose for the treatment of IDA in subjects with hemodialysis-dependent CKD.
NCT02901717
This is a Phase 3, multi-center, randomized, open-label, assess-blind study to determine the efficacy and safety of MLT, a novel antibiotic lock therapy that combines minocycline with edetate disodium in 25% ethanol solution as an adjuctive therapy for the treatment of catheter-related or central line associated bloodstream infection (CRBSI/CLABSI). Approximately 144 subjects who have been diagnosed with CRBSI/CLABSI and who meet all necessary criteria for the study will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to 1 of 2 treatment arms: * MLT Arm: Mino-Lok therapy; or * Control Arm: Antibiotic lock (±heparin). The antibiotic lock (ALT) should be comprised of the best available therapy at the sites based on standard institutional practices or recommendations from the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) guidelines.
NCT03732534
This is an open-label, rollover study to collect long-term safety, tolerability, and investigator- and participant-reported pharmacodynamic (PD) data after chronic administration of NBI-98854 in pediatric participants with Tourette Syndrome (TS), as well as to provide open-label access to NBI-98854 for the treatment of TS for pediatric participants who have taken part in a Phase 2 NBI-98854 study.
NCT03337906
An observational study of long-term outcomes of HIV-1 infection in persons who become infected after enrollment in HIV-1 vaccine trials
NCT02519777
People infected with HIV often have cognitive dysfunction even if they are on antiretroviral therapy (ART) and have undetectable viral loads. The study evaluated if the addition of maraviroc (MVC) and dolutegravir (DTG) (which are two antiretroviral \[ARV\] medications) to participants' existing ART regimens improved participants' neurocognitive performance.
NCT03225846
PRECISION-HD2 is a Phase 1b/2a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of single and multiple doses of WVE-120102 in adult patients with early manifest Huntington's disease (HD) who carry a targeted single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs362331 (SNP2).
NCT02907242
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the role of an integrated strategy at selecting fetuses for delivery at term based on a combination of fetal biometry and cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) to reduce stillbirth rate and adverse perinatal outcome.
NCT01896102
This trial assessed the efficacy and safety of autologous cluster of differentiation 34 (CD34+) hematopoietic stem cells, transduced ex-vivo with Lenti-D lentiviral vector (also called elivaldogene autotemcel or eli-cel), for the treatment of cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy (CALD). A participant's blood stem cells were collected and modified (transduced) using the Lenti-D lentiviral vector encoding human adrenoleukodystrophy protein. After modification (transduction) with the Lenti-D lentiviral vector, the cells were transplanted back into the participant following myeloablative conditioning. Participants in this study will be continuously followed in study LTF-304.
NCT04739462
The study's purpose is to demonstrate the ability of an mHealth platform as a feasible way of sharing information in a time of restricted movement in order to inform future studies.
