NCT04034992
DISCOVER CKD is an international observational cohort study in patients with CKD, comprising both prospective and retrospective patient cohorts. The study does not attempt to test any specific a priori hypotheses, is largely descriptive, and utilises data collected only under conditions of routine clinical care.
NCT01967069
The objectives of this study are to compare the efficacy and safety of DFD01 Spray to Vehicle Spray for topical treatment of moderate plaque psoriasis
NCT06312267
The purpose of this study is to compare the outcomes of using Bioelectric wound dressing on the pre-operative wound site and post operatively and compared it outcomes to the standard of care chlorhexidine skin preparation.
NCT04257474
This study seeks to develop an explanatory framework for breast MRI utilization to inform future interventions. The Health Services Utilization Model (HSUM) will guide the selection of specific participant-level factors for examination, including predisposing characteristics (knowledge, health/cultural beliefs), enabling resources (social support, cost/insurance coverage), and perceived need (perceived susceptibility, provider recommendation).
NCT03738397
This study will evaluate upadacitinib compared to dupilumab (Dupixent®) in adults with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD) who are candidates for systemic therapy.
NCT02155647
This is a multicenter, international, single-arm, open-label, Phase 2 trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of avelumab in participants with metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC).
NCT04629170
This Phase 1a/b, first-in-human, multiple dose-escalation, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study is evaluating SYNB8802 in healthy volunteers (HV) and subjects diagnosed with enteric hyperoxaluria (EH). Eligible subjects receive investigational product (IP) and undergo safety monitoring, evaluations, and subsequent follow-up after IP administration. In Part 2, all evaluations and assessments throughout this study may be conducted either at the clinical site or by a home healthcare professional at an alternative location (e.g., EH patient's home, hotel).
NCT00003782
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Giving combination chemotherapy after surgery may kill any tumor cells remaining following surgery. It is not yet known which regimen of combination chemotherapy is more effective in treating breast cancer with positive axillary lymph nodes. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of different regimens of combination chemotherapy in treating women who have undergone surgery for stage I, stage II, or stage IIIA breast cancer with positive axillary lymph nodes.
NCT04646044
The main purpose of this phase-1b, multicenter, randomized double-blind, placebo-controlled, trial is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of bempegaldesleukin (BEMPEG; NKTR-214) in combination with standard of care (SOC) in adult patients with mild COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019). The trial will also define the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of bempegaldesleukin in patients with mild COVID-19.
NCT05469802
The purpose of this study is to describe the side effects and immune response of a candidate vaccine that might protect against Zika. The vaccine called PIZV (purified inactivated Zika virus vaccine) is given by injection in two doses that are 28 days apart in healthy adults. Participants will receive PIZV or placebo and will be followed for 7 days after each dose and up to 6 months after dose 2.
NCT02022215
The purpose of the study is to determine the safety and efficacy of high and low strength of ME1111 solutions compared to the vehicle in the treatment of onychomycosis of the toenail.
NCT05321602
This is a randomized, single-dose, open-label, parallel-group study. Patients will undergo the screening evaluations to determine eligibility within 28 days prior to study drug administration. Approximately 80 eligible patients will be randomized in a 1:1:1:1 ratio to 1 of 4 treatment groups.
NCT04844840
Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, multiple arm, controlled study to evaluate safety \& efficacy of various doses of STP705 in reducing post Keloidectomy keloid recurrence.
NCT03179605
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the potential of DFD-06 to suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis when applied twice daily for 15 days.
NCT05560464
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and safety of multiple doses of VX-584 in participants with mild or moderate hepatic impairment as compared to matched healthy controls.
NCT02678741
Assess the safety and tumor response of utilizing an autologous tumor lysate, particle-loaded, dendritic cell (TLPLDC) vaccine given in combination with standard of care (SoC) checkpoint inhibitors (CPI) in patients with stage IV melanoma with measurable disease.
NCT04814134
STOP-ADHF Study: An evaluation of the safety and performance of the Cardionomic Cardiac Pulmonary Nerve Stimulation (CPNS) system in patients with acute decompensated heart failure.
NCT02673697
Prospective, randomized, stratified non blinded multi-center, international, post market trial assessed in a non-inferiority study. The trial has a flexible sample size that will be determined adaptively. The trial will enroll up to 1234 subjects, but accrual may stop earlier at approximately 900 or 1050 subjects These subjects will be enrolled at approximately 60 worldwide investigational sites where the device is commercially available The primary objective of this trial is to test the safety and efficacy of Perceval versus standard sutured stented bioprosthetic aortic valves among the intended trial population.
NCT02797171
This study will evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics, and antiviral activity of VRC-HIVMAB060-00-AB (VRC01) and VRC-HIVMAB080-00-AB (VRC01LS) in the serum and mucosa of healthy, HIV-uninfected adults.
NCT04678193
Researchers are creating real-time epidemiology registry to evaluate the efficacy of COVID-19 subject risk assessment scores based on recording of symptoms, biomarkers, chronic illness and mental health assessments with digital technology using wearables and mobile app tools. Researchers aim to study in Phase 1, epidemiological variations in COVID-19 presentation in both PCR positive and negative subjects in the registry. Assessment of variables, predictive modeling of variables that impact severity of COVID-19 positive and negative subjects and assessment of predictors for post COVID-19 complications. In Phase 2, 2700 subjects with COVID-19 positive test will be studied in the intervention group comparing ECL-19 vs placebo with primary end point of hospital admission assessment. Treatment strategy for PCR positive COVID-19 subjects in the registry who are in Stage I of the disease process with ECL-19 drug compared to placebo in reducing hospital admissions
