NCT02496767
This study assessed the effect of tirasemtiv versus placebo on respiratory function in patients with ALS.
NCT03168906
This is a multicenter, Phase 2b, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, two-arm, parallel-group efficacy and safety study of NEOD001 as a single agent administered intravenously in adults with AL amyloidosis who have a maintained hematologic response to their most recent treatment for AL amyloidosis (e.g., chemotherapy, autologous stem cell transplant \[ASCT\]) and have persistent renal dysfunction.
NCT02586233
This is a Phase 1b/2, double-blind (study participants and Investigators), placebo-controlled, randomized, single-ascending dose, multi-center study to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of DS-1040b in participants with Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS).
NCT02922153
The investigators propose to assess whether intra-operative intercostal cryoanalgesia using the cryoICE® probe (AtriCure®, Inc., 7555 Innovation Way, Mason, Ohio) provides superior post-operative analgesic efficacy as compared to current pain management in patients undergoing unilateral thoracotomy cardiac procedures.
NCT03338673
People with serious mental illness often report difficulties with thinking skills like memory. These difficulties can make it harder to perform day-to-day activities. The purpose of this study is to test whether combining a type of non-invasive brain stimulation with computerized cognitive exercises is acceptable to participants, and whether it is helpful in improving a specific type of memory skill in people who have mental health conditions and memory deficits. This study is designed so that all participants will get both treatments: the non-invasive brain stimulation and computerized cognitive exercises. Half of the participants will start with both the brain stimulation and the cognitive exercises (dual therapy), and half will start with just the computerized exercises (monotherapy). After three weeks, participants will switch to the other condition: the people who did both treatments first will switch to just the cognitive exercises alone, and the people who started with the cognitive exercises alone will then switch to doing both the brain stimulation and cognitive exercises. Overall, participants will be in the study for about 7-8 weeks. The brain stimulation treatment involves 10 visits to the clinic over 3 weeks. The computerized cognitive exercises can be done at home, and involve 10 hours of exercises over 3 weeks. Participants will also complete paper-and-pencil assessments at the beginning, middle, and end of treatment.
NCT01957007
This is an open-label Phase 1b dose-escalation study to assess the safety, tolerability, and PK of vantictumab when combined with docetaxel.
NCT02516046
This study is designed to test the relationship between ante-mortem flortaucipir Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging and tau neurofibrillary pathology associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD), as measured at autopsy.
NCT01711515
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of ipilimumab when given after chemoradiation therapy in treating patients with stages IB2-IIB or IIIB-IVA cervical cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab, may find tumor cells and help carry tumor-killing substances to them. Giving ipilimumab together with chemoradiation therapy may be a better way treat cervical cancer.
NCT01621204
This is a study to investigate if eltrombopag can be used instead of Intravenous Immune Globulin (IVIG) in patients with ITP, to adequately raise their platelet count when they undergo minor or major surgery. Eltrombopag is a daily, oral pill approved for treatment of ITP. IVIG is a blood product frequently used to treat ITP. Patients with ITP who need surgery have to get treatment to increase their platelet count. IVIG is commonly used for this purpose but eltrombopag may be more effective and convenient for patients.
NCT02757976
This trial will compare two strategies for patients with Heart Failure, Left Ventricular systolic dysfunction, and intermediate QRS durations. The control group is conventional CRT. The experimental group is LVendo CRT
NCT00959959
The purpose of this study is to determine whether TOK-001 is safe and shows biological effect in the treatment of castration resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).
NCT00948428
At the end of the study, safety and efficacy outcome measures will be compared to determine a) if dosing with Generic Imiquimod cream, 5% is therapeutically equivalent to the currently marketed Aldara (imiquimod) cream, 5% and b) if both imiquimod 5% creams are superior in comparison to the Vehicle cream.
NCT02393937
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of two Metronidazole Gels 1%, in the treatment of Rosacea.
NCT04540185
In this randomized double blind Phase 3 clinical trial we will study the efficacy and safety of oral polio vaccine with and without NA-831 versus placebo.
NCT00799266
This study was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of zoledronic acid compared to placebo in osteoporotic children treated with glucocorticoids
NCT04338360
This expanded access program will provide access to investigational convalescent plasma for patients in acute care facilities infected with SARS-CoV-2 who have severe or life-threatening COVID-19, or who are judged by a healthcare provider to be at high risk of progression to severe or life-threatening disease.
NCT03597282
The primary purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the NEO-PV-01 vaccine, either with APX005M or ipilimumab, and nivolumab is safe for the treatment of patients with advanced or metastatic melanoma. The study will also investigate an alternative schedule for the administration of the NEO-PV-01 vaccine. Study interventions will be assessed by both clinical and immune responses to treatment.
NCT01948297
This study is primarily designed to assess the safety and the tolerability of Debio1347 (CH5183284) in patients with advanced solid malignancies, whose tumours have an alteration of the Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor (FGFR) 1, 2 or 3 genes, for whom standard treatment does not exist or is not indicated. The main objective of Part A is to identify the dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) and estimate the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) based on the safety and tolerability of Debio1347 orally administered daily to these patients, in order to determine the recommended dose. The main objective of Part B is to evaluate the safety profile at the recommended dose, in a larger cohort of these patients.
NCT01842308
This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of carfilzomib when given together with melphalan and to see how well they work in treating patients with multiple myeloma before stem cell transplant. Carfilzomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as melphalan, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving carfilzomib together with melphalan may kill more cancer cells.
NCT01931046
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of AD5-SGE-REIC/Dkk-3 in patients with localized prostate cancer.
