NCT04604314
This investigation will be a longitudinal clinical trial to study the association of preparation design on the internal and marginal adaptation of the resulting restorations and the long-term clinical performance of chairside CAD/CAM endocrown restorations. Advanced lithium disilicate chairside CAD/CAM endocrowns (CEREC Tessera/Dentsply Sirona) will be adhesively bonded using a selective enamel etch technique with a universal adhesive (Prime and Bond Elect/Dentsply Sirona) and a dual cure resin adhesive cement (Calibra Ceram/Dentsply Sirona). All restorations will be followed over five years of clinical service.
NCT06337812
The study team is studying how increasing dietary fiber, specifically through adding potato starch to participant's diet, may impact the species of bacteria in participant's gut microbiome. The study team also wants to understand if adding potato starch to participant's diet helps these bacteria make more short chain fatty acids, a byproduct the team thinks may benefit participant's health.
NCT03153644
The purpose of this project is to describe how contraceptive services are currently being delivered to women with medical conditions who seek care in community-based primary care settings, such as family medicine and internal medicine clinical offices.
NCT06391073
Emergency department visits provide an opportunity to identify people with undiagnosed, untreated, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. In Reach Out, we will test whether a mobile health intervention yields a greater reduction in blood pressure than usual care among individuals identified with high blood pressure during a safety-net emergency department visit. Subsequently, we will estimate the reduction in heart attack, stroke, and dementia if Reach Out were implemented across all U.S. safety-net emergency departments.
NCT04026412
The primary purpose of the study is to compare the effectiveness of nivolumab plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) followed by nivolumab plus ipilimumab vs CCRT followed by durvalumab in participants with untreated Locally Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (LA NSCLC).
NCT05882045
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of retatrutide once weekly in participants with obesity and established cardiovascular disease (CVD). The study will last about 113 weeks.
NCT03823287
This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, durability, and pharmacokinetics of faricimab administered at intervals as specified in the protocol, compared with aflibercept once every 8 weeks (Q8W), in participants with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD).
NCT05285644
This will be a Phase 3, multicenter, vehicle-controlled, double-masked, randomized study conducted at approximately 20 sites in the United States. All subjects enrolled will have dry eye disease (DED). The study will consist of Screening (Day -14) and Baseline (Day 1) visits as well as visits at Day 7, Day 14, Day 28, and Day 90 (Study Exit) for an individual duration of participation of approximately 15 weeks.
NCT05360966
NCT05750498
The Autoimmune Liver disease Network for Kids (A-LiNK) is a multi-institutional group with the mission to deliver the best care to kids with pediatric autoimmune liver disease (AILD). This study will establish a shared clinical registry and a learning health network for the participating sites focusing on collecting and transmitting clinical measurement data, information about processes, and participation in an improvement collaborative. Pediatric Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH) and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), represent a spectrum of AILD which present unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.A lack of accepted guidelines for disease monitoring or symptom management results in wide treatment variation with liver transplants indicated in refractory, progressive disease. The aims of A-LiNK are to: 1.) Create a learning health network focused on patient-centered outcomes research characterized by transparent sharing among centers, common priorities, and feasible plans for implementing new practices; 2) shift from traditional investigator-driven study to a patient and family-centered approach, and 3.) improve clinical outcomes and quality of life for pediatric AILD patients.
NCT04028492
To investigate the safety and efficacy of tradipitant versus placebo in relieving nausea and other symptoms of gastroparesis.
NCT03607838
This study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a single-dose intervertebral disc injection of SI-6603 in subjects with lumbar disc herniation (LDH)
NCT05703178
The main goal of this clinical trial is to test benefits of completing online pain coping skills training program in women who have been diagnosed with stage I-III breast cancer, who have completed their primary cancer treatment, who are taking an AI medication, and who have arthralgia. Arthralgia is a type of joint, bone, and muscle pain that is a common side effect of AI medications. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Whether online pain coping skills training reduces the severity of pain and the interference it causes in women's daily lives. 2. Whether online pain coping skills training improves emotional distress, quality of life, and adherence to AI medications. 3. Whether benefits of online pain coping skills training are at least partially caused by women's increased confidence that they can manage their pain and a reduction in unhelpful thinking patterns about pain. 4. Whether online pain coping skills training improves effects of AI medications on sleep problems and symptoms of menopause like hot flashes and night sweats. Participants can complete all parts of the study at home. They will: 1. Complete four sets of questionnaires throughout the study, which will take about 9 to 10 months. 2. Attend 3 meetings in the first month of the study, all of which can be held via a video conference. 3. Use an electronic pill bottle to track their use of their AI medication. 4. Be randomized (like flipping a coin) to one of two study arms: They will either receive education about AIs and arthralgia or they will receive this education along with access to an online pain coping skills training program. Research will compare the education group to the education plus online pain coping skills training group to see if online pain coping skills training has the benefits mentioned above.
NCT06375811
A Phase 3 clinical trial of oral GnRH antagonist pre-treatment for women with endometriosis who are undergoing IVF, with a primary outcome of live birth rate. The investigators' central hypothesis is that in infertile woman with endometriosis undergoing in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET), live birth rates will improve in those pretreated with GnRH antagonist compared to those not pretreated with GnRH antagonist.
NCT04864392
The study will determine the optimal dosing regimen of LNA043 in patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA).
NCT03644277
The overall objective of this project is to investigate the effectiveness of daily acute intermittent hypoxia therapy (dAIH), coupled with massed practice training, to improve upper-extremity function in individuals with chronic incomplete cervical SCI.
NCT06907888
The goal of this observational study is to confirm the accuracy of the sleep algorithm (software) used in the Rhythm Express Wearable System to detect sleep apnea severity. The study involves participants wearing the RX-1 mini cardiac monitor on their chest and a pulse oximeter during a traditional sleep test, known as polysomnography (PSG), conducted in a sleep center. The performance of the device will be evaluated by comparing the results from the Rhythm Express Wearable System with those from the traditional Polysomnography(PSG). Participants will: 1. Complete a Screening Visit to confirm they are eligible to participate in the study. 2. Be trained on the use of the Rhythm Express Wearable System. 3. Wear the RX-1 mini cardiac monitor on their chest for 3-5 days/nights. 4. Wear a pulse oximeter for 2 nights before a scheduled sleep study. 5. Complete a sleep study while wearing the Rhythm Express Wearable System. 6. Complete a telephone follow-up visit 5-10 days after the sleep study.
