A Phase 2, Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind, Vehicle Controlled, Parallel-Group, Clinical Study in the Treatment of Acne Vulgaris
NCT02547818
This is a global Phase III, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study for subjects with evidence of early AD. The protocol is designed to determine whether ALZT-OP1 combination treatment (ALZT-OP1a + ALZT-OP1b) will slow down, arrests, or reverse cognitive and functional decline, in subjects with evidence of early stage Alzheimer's disease (AD).
NCT02945046
This is a 13-week, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study to compare the efficacy and safety of 2 dose regimens of TEV-48125 (Fremanezumab) versus placebo in adult participants for the prevention of ECH.
NCT02964338
The purpose of the current study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Fremanezumab (TEV-48125), in the prevention of CCH in adult participants.
NCT01723228
This is a 24-week, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, add-on, parallel-group study to evaluate the effect of rasagiline on cognitive function in adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in Parkinson's disease (PD-MCI).
NCT02195700
The purpose of this study is to determine whether an investigational drug, SD-809 (deutetrabenazine), will reduce the severity of abnormal involuntary movements of tardive dyskinesia.
NCT02452190
The primary objective of this study is to determine the effect of reslizumab (110 mg) administered subcutaneously every 4 weeks on clinical asthma exacerbations in adults and adolescents with asthma and elevated blood eosinophils who are inadequately controlled on standard-of-care asthma therapy.
NCT02291861
The purpose of this study is to determine whether fixed-doses of an investigational drug, SD-809 (deutetrabenazine), will reduce the severity of abnormal involuntary movements of tardive dyskinesia.
NCT04882111
This is a single arm, pre-post, pilot study assessing the feasibility and acceptability of the ALIGN intervention in metastatic adult cancer patients discharging to local area SNFs.
NCT03611582
This study will look at the change in participant's body weight from the start to the end of the study. This is to compare the effect on body weight in people taking semaglutide (a new medicine) and people taking "dummy" medicine. Together with the medicine, the participant will also be part of an intensive lifestyle program where the participant will have talks with study staff about healthy food choices, what the participant can do to lose weight and be more physically active. The participant will either get semaglutide or "dummy" medicine - which treatment the participant gets is decided by chance. The participant will need to take 1 injection once a week. The study medicine is injected with a thin needle in a skin fold in the stomach, thigh or upper arm. For the first 2 months the participant will be on a low calorie diet. The diet is made up of bars, shakes and 1 low calorie pre-prepared meal for each day. The study will last for about 1.5 years. The participant will have 32 clinic visits with the study doctor.
NCT02141854
The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of fluticasone propionate (Fp) multidose dry powder inhaler (MDPI) and fluticasone propionate/salmeterol xinafoate (FS) MDPI when administered over 12 weeks in patients 12 years of age and older with persistent asthma.
NCT02969408
This is a Phase 3B, 12-week, multicenter, open-label study to evaluate the relationship between albuterol sulfate (ABS) eMDPI and clinical asthma exacerbation (CAE) in adult participants at least 18 years of age with exacerbation-prone asthma. The ABS eMDPI dose will be 90 micrograms (mcg), 1 to 2 inhalations every 4 hours as needed, but participant dosing will not be limited to this dosing regimen. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between albuterol dosing and CAE.
NCT01178125
This is an open-label, single treatment study. All subjects will receive 12 months of oral contraceptive therapy with DR-102. Study participants will receive physical and gynecological exams, including Pap smear. During the study, all participants will be required to complete a daily diary.
NCT02365636
This is a study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 4% and 8% w/w TV 45070 ointment compared with placebo ointment applied topically and twice daily to the area of PHN pain for 4 weeks in patients with PHN
NCT03571256
Standard placebo-controlled, double-blind study design (TEV-50717 \[low dose and high dose\] vs. placebo in a 1:1:1 ratio) was chosen to determine whether study drug treatment results in a statistically significant effect on the tics in participants with TS.
NCT02928107
The aim of this project is to develop evidence that can inform hearing health care best practices for adults between the ages of 65-75, and determine what level of involvement by the primary care practitioner (PCP) is required to inform and encourage adults age 65-75 to follow through with routine hearing screening. This study also aims to evaluate the accuracy of assessment of medical conditions for which the FDA requires physician evaluation and management prior to hearing aid fitting, and determine which medical conditions should require medical evaluation prior to hearing aid fitting. The results of this study should provide information to implement changes in health care policy to facilitate accessible and affordable hearing health care.
NCT03927911
Primary Objective: The primary objective of this study is to compare postsurgical opioid consumption through 72 hours postsurgery in patients receiving local infiltration analgesia (LIA) with EXPAREL and bupivacaine HCl (EXPAREL group) with that of patients receiving standard of care (SOC) (control group) in adult subjects undergoing posterior lumbar spine surgeries where both groups are receiving a multimodal pain regimen. Secondary Objectives: The secondary objectives of this study are to: 1. Compare safety and effectiveness outcomes following LIA with EXPAREL and bupivacaine hydrochloride (HCl) versus SOC in adult subjects undergoing posterior lumbar spine surgeries through 72 hours, including time to first opioid and opioid-related adverse events (ORAEs). 2. Compare health outcomes following LIA with EXPAREL and bupivacaine hydrochloride (HCl) versus SOC in adult subjects undergoing posterior lumbar spine surgeries, including discharge readiness, hospital (or other facility) length of stay (LOS), discharge disposition, hospital readmissions, and health service utilization.
NCT02474355
The aim of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of single agent AZD9291 in a real world setting in adult patients with advanced or metastatic, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) T790M mutation-positive Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), who have received prior EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy.
NCT00710749
Crossover comparison of different flow meters with a digital home flow meter as a reference. Main hypothesis: Reapeated home flow measurements with a disposable device will provide a better understanding of the patients urinary flow than a single measurement performed in the clinic.
NCT02315144
The primary objective of the study is to characterize the safety profile and duration of bronchodilation of a single dose of inhaled TV48108.
