NCT03126760
This study will enroll about 66 participants who experienced a relapse of RRMS that steroids did not help. The doctor will put participants into a treatment group. Each person has an equal chance of being in either one of two groups (like flipping a coin). One group will receive a shot of study medicine (called Acthar Gel) under their skin every day for 14 days. The other group will receive a shot every day for 14 days, too, but there is no medicine in it (called placebo).
NCT00598975
Study 07-PIR-02 is a Phase 2 study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of NKTR-102 (PEG-irinotecan) for the treatment of patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). The study is comprised of two sequential components - Phase 2a and Phase 2b. The Phase 2a portion is an open-label, dose-finding trial in multiple solid tumor types that are refractory to standard curative or palliative therapies. The primary endpoint of the Phase 2a is to establish the /recommended Phase 2 Dose (RPTD) of NKTR-102 by measuring the frequency of Dose Limiting Toxicity (DLT). The Phase 2b portion is an open-label, randomized, two-arm study in patients with second-line metastatic colorectal cancer and study participants will be randomized (1:1) to receive either NKTR-102 and cetuximab or irinotecan and cetuximab. The primary endpoint of the Phase 2b portion of the trial is progression-free survival. Secondary endpoints for both the Phase 2a and 2b portion include response rate, response duration, overall survival, standard pharmacokinetics, and incidence of toxicities, including diarrhea and neutropenia.
NCT01802411
The purpose of the study is to examine the safety and efficacy of liposome bupivacaine for intercostal nerve block in subjects undergoing posterolateral thoracotomy.
NCT01095497
The objectives of the study are to: 1. Evaluate the safety and tolerability of CINRYZE administered by subcutaneous injection in subjects with hereditary angioedema 2. Characterize the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of CINRYZE administered by subcutaneous injection 3. Assess the immunogenicity of CINRYZE following subcutaneous administration
NCT01439152
BAY94-9343 was an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) directed against the cancer antigen mesothelin on tumor cells.
NCT02177136
This was a phase 2, double-blind (DB), placebo-controlled trial in participants with primary sclerosing cholangitis to evaluate the effect of obeticholic acid on liver biochemistry, in particular, serum alkaline phosphatase; and, safety. The long-term safety extension (LTSE) phase was conducted to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of long-term, open-label use of OCA in participants with PSC who had completed the DB phase of the study.
NCT00528437
The purpose of this study is to: Find out how safe and effective (by monitoring the good and/or bad effects) treatment with high dose temozolomide, thiotepa and carboplatin with stem cell rescue followed by 13-cis-retinoic acid has on children and adolescents with recurrent/refractory brain tumors Find out how the body uses 13-cis-retinoic acid by studying the your blood levels and proteins in the blood that break down the 13-cis-retinoic acid Determine how well 13-cis-retinoic acid penetrates into the spinal fluid.
NCT01655680
This is a safety and efficacy study evaluating a experimental treatment for cognitive deficits in adults with schizophrenia.
NCT03758157
This study evaluates the clinical accuracy of the welloStationX, an automated non-touch self-service electronic thermometer using an infrared sensor of the surface of the forehead to screen for fever.
NCT04058353
This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and pharmacodynamics of elexacaftor (ELX, VX-445) in triple combination (TC) with tezacaftor (TEZ) and ivacaftor (IVA) in subjects with cystic fibrosis (CF) who are heterozygous for F508del and a gating or residual function mutation (F/G and F/RF genotypes).
NCT03709901
The objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of viable allograft transplantation for the treatment of patients with symptomatic disc degeneration and tissue loss. All subjects randomized to Active Allograft will undergo injection of a viable allograft into the nucleus pulposus of the degenerated disc. All subjects randomized to Placebo will undergo injection with saline into the nucleus pulposus of the degenerated disc. All subjects randomized to Conservative Care will continue standard of care, with the opportunity to crossover at 3 months into the Active Allograft arm.
NCT03211234
To assess the safety and efficacy of repeated intravitreal injections of DE-122 (low dose and high dose) given in combination with Lucentis® in subjects with wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) compared with Lucentis® alone.
NCT02689063
The purpose of the study is to determine the clinical efficacy and safety of Maxigesic IV, acetaminophen IV, Ibuprofen IV versus placebo IV for the treatment of acute postoperative pain after bunionectomy
NCT03569098
The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of treatment with multiple doses of Dysport in adults suffering from clinically significant pain associated with HAV who have not undergone surgery for their condition.
NCT04901897
The objective of this study is to evaluate the product performance of kalifilcon A, compared to the Johnson \& Johnson Acuvue Oasys® 1-Day with HydraLuxe™ (senofilcon A) daily disposable contact lens and Alcon DAILIES TOTAL1® (delefilcon A) daily disposable contact lenses when worn by current soft contact lens wearers on a daily disposable wear basis.
