NCT03831880
This is an open label randomized 24 week crossover trial assessing the treatment burden of a weekly growth hormone injection regimen (somatrogon) compared to a daily growth hormone injection regimen (Genotropin). Approximately 90 children with growth hormone deficiency who have been stable on treatment with daily Genotropin will be enrolled.
NCT03401229
The aim of this present study is to investigate the use of benralizumab as treatment for severe nasal polyposis. The effect of benralizumab on nasal polyps will be assessed over a 56 weeks of treatment period in patients with severe bilateral nasal polyposis who are still symptomatic despite standard of care therapy, i.e current use of intranasal corticosteroids (INCS) and prior surgery and/or use of systemic corticosteroids. The first 200 patients that complete the 56-week treatment will have a 6 month follow-up (FU) period without dosing.
NCT04111276
In vivo knee kinematics will be assessed for 20 subjects that have been clinically diagnosed with substantial unicompartmental osteoarthritis (OA) by one of the surgeons of Colorado Joint Replacement; this is the location from which participants will be recruited. The objective of this study will be to analyze subjects with symptomatic unicompartmental osteoarthritis under in vivo dynamic, weight-bearing conditions using video fluoroscopy to determine if present-day OA knee braces provide separation of the femoral condyle from the tibial plateau, thus avoiding excessive loads on the degenerative compartment.
NCT04262115
The purpose of this pilot study is to determine the feasibility and acceptability of randomizing adults with overweight and obesity to an exercise intervention of either prescribed morning aerobic exercise (AM-EX) or prescribed evening aerobic exercise (PM-EX) progressing to 2000 kcal/wk.
NCT00924703
This study is an extension of previous rAvPAL-PEG studies. Administration of rAvPAL-PEG will be continued to assess whether long-term dosing of rAvPAL-PEG is safe and can maintain reduced blood Phe concentrations in PKU subjects.
NCT04334148
This is a double blind, placebo controlled study in approximately 2,000 health care workers at risk for being exposed to COVID-19. Eligible participants will be randomly assigned (1:1) to either treatment group (HCQ) or placebo in a double-blind fashion. Course of treatment is 30 days.
NCT03857841
A multicenter, placebo-controlled, randomized, dose escalation, safety, and tolerability study of UNEX-42 in infants born at \<27 weeks of gestational age (GA) at high risk for bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).
NCT02038933
The purpose of this study is to determine whether Nivolumab is effective in the treatment of DLBCL in patients that have failed or are ineligible for ASCT
NCT04258995
This study is an extension to the completed first-in-human C1091001 study (NCT03170609) and is to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a single booster vaccine dose of GBS6, administered approximately 2 years or more after a primary GBS6 dose, to healthy adult males and nonpregnant women. The study will determine whether individuals who received a primary dose of GBS6 have additional benefit following a booster dose.
NCT04210232
This is a multicenter, prospective, single-arm, open-label, clinical study of the commercially available TECNIS Toric II, Model ZCU IOL. The study will be conducted in up to 1100 subjects enrolled with 1,000 subjects needing unilateral or bilateral cataract surgery across up to 50 US study sites.
NCT04164758
This is a pilot study to explore the effects of pimavanserin and low-dose quetiapine in subjects with Parkinson's disease with neuropsychiatric symptoms.
NCT03015961
Primary Objective: The primary objective of this study is to compare postsurgical pain control following local infiltration analgesia (LIA) with EXPAREL admixed with bupivacaine HCl versus LIA with bupivacaine HCl in adult subjects undergoing open lumbar posterior spinal fusion surgery. Secondary Objectives: The secondary objectives of this study are to compare additional efficacy, safety, and health economic outcomes following LIA with EXPAREL admixed with bupivacaine HCl versus LIA with bupivacaine HCl in adult subjects undergoing open lumbar posterior spinal fusion surgery.
NCT02387216
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the combination of MM-121 plus docetaxel is more effective than docetaxel alone in regards to PFS in patients with heregulin-positive NSCLC.
NCT03511001
This study compares effects among Latino and African American cigarette smokers who use e-cigarettes with those who continue smoking as usual.
NCT03611569
The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety of a single dose of Lu AF82422, how well it is tolerated, how the drug effects the body and what the body does to the drug in healthy non-Japanese and Japanese subjects and in patients with Parkinson's disease
NCT03144245
This is a first in human, non randomized, open-label, dose escalation study to investigate the safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy of AMV564.
NCT03570931
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of RT001 in patients with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD).
NCT00141024
The purpose of the study is to determine the safety of and immune response to the investigational HIV vaccine, EP HIV-1090, in HIV uninfected adults.
NCT00043511
The purpose of this study is to see if the experimental HIV vaccine pGA2/JS2 is safe and is well tolerated at two different doses. Another important purpose of this study is to observe how the immune system responds to the vaccine at different dose levels. Vaccines are given to people to help their bodies fight infection. The vaccine being tested in this study is a DNA vaccine. The pGA2/JS2 plasmid DNA vaccine instructs the body to make some HIV proteins. These HIV proteins may trigger an immune response. Because only a few of the many proteins HIV needs are made through DNA vaccination, there is no risk of getting HIV from the vaccination. This and other similar DNA vaccines have been tested for safety in mice, rabbits, and monkeys. The vaccine has been well tolerated at doses to be used in this study.
NCT00119873
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety of and immune response to an experimental HIV vaccine in HIV uninfected individuals.
