NCT02580058
A Phase 3 global study comparing avelumab alone to avelumab plus PLD and to PLD alone to demonstrate that avelumab given alone or in combination with PLD is superior to PLD alone in prolonging Overall Survival in patients with platinum resistant/platinum refractory ovarian cancer.
NCT05509712
Low physical activity levels contribute to African American men experiencing health disparities across a number of chronic diseases. Studies have been effective in increasing physical activity levels in African American men; but few have targeted maintenance of behavior change and none have utilized emerging technologies. The purpose of the current study is to further develop a mobile phone application for African American men that will help them initiate and maintain their physical activity levels.
NCT05615662
Meru Health Inc. seeks to further validate the Meru Health Program (MHP) as a single solution to screening, referral, and treatment in primary care as compared to treatment as usual using a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) study design. The goal of this study is to determine the feasibility, effectiveness, and implementability of this digital mental health (DMH) solution. If proven effective and implementable, more widely integrating the MHP into primary care has the potential to improve the systems of screening, referral, and treatment for depression nationwide. This, in turn, will serve as a solution to improve access to effective care for the millions of Americans currently suffering from depression, ultimately reducing its public health burden.
NCT05295004
The primary purpose of this study is the determine whether a 15 minute Mindfulness Meditation (MM) administered at the preoperative appointment prior to primary unilateral total joint arthroplasty (TJA) results in any improvement in Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score, a validated metric for sleep quality, at 2, 6 or 12 weeks post-operatively.
NCT01793909
This study plans to learn more about the effects of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) on exercise blood flow and muscle oxygen uptake. This study will evaluate \& compare exercise function during single leg plantar flexion exercise in a total of 45 subjects from the Denver area (15 lean controls, 15 people with T2DM, and 15 overweight control subjects). Differences between the exercise responses in people with T2DM and healthy people will help further identify the disease process of T2DM and direct future research of treatments and interventions.
NCT03619213
This is an international, multicentre, parallel-group, event-driven, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in HFpEF patients, evaluating the effect of dapagliflozin 10 mg versus placebo, given once daily in addition to background regional standard of care therapy, including treatments to control co-morbidities, in reducing the composite of CV death or heart failure events.
NCT05361304
This study is a feasibility, multi-site, randomized, double-masked, 2-arm parallel group design, 2-week dispensing study with weekly visits to evaluate visual acuity.
NCT01844518
The purpose of this study is to estimate Abatacept steady-state trough concentration (Cmin) at Day 113 in children and adolescents with pJIA
NCT03970616
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, DLTs, MTD, and preliminary anti tumor activity of tivozanib in combination with durvalumab in subjects with advanced HCC.
NCT03798847
The objective of this study is to estimate the safety and performance of Journey II XR TKS based on retrospective data.
NCT04057794
To assess the feasibility, impact, and participant satisfaction of offering Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified genetic testing as part of clinical care for People with Parkinson's disease (PWP).
NCT03354273
This is a Phase 3, prospective, open-label, international, multicentre study of Flurpiridaz (18F) Injection for PET MPI in patients referred for ICA because of suspected CAD.
NCT03770403
This is a Long-Term, Single-Arm, Open-Label, Multicenter Phase 3 follow-on trial of the ARGX-113-1704 study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of ARGX-113 in patients with gMG. Patients who have completed at least 1 cycle of treatment and at least 1 year of trial ARGX-113-1705 and have started Part B are eligible to enroll in the open-label trial ARGX-113-2002 to receive efgartigimod by SC administration.
NCT02651675
This first-in-human study is intended to evaluate the safety and preliminary effectiveness of AAV (Adeno-associated virus)-based liver-directed gene therapy in the treatment of adults with Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia (HoFH).
NCT02193841
Simple bone cysts (SBCs) are cysts filled with fluid that occur most frequently in the long bones (arms or legs) of children. There are many ways to treat SBCs but it is unclear if one is better than another. The purpose of this research trial is to compare the effectiveness of two common treatments that are used by surgeons today.
NCT04828551
NIMBLE is a comprehensive collaborative effort to standardize, compare, validate, and advance the regulatory qualification of imaging and circulating biomarkers to diagnose and stage nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and to predict and assess response to therapeutic intervention (https://fnih.org/what-we-do/biomarkers-consortium/programs/nimble). This study focuses on estimating the repeatability and reproducibility of ultrasound elastography-based biomarkers across a range of fibrosis stages.
NCT00697073
This study is meant to assess the safety and tolerability of idebenone in patients with Friedreich's Ataxia over a 12 months period.
NCT03637764
Primary Objectives: * Phase 1: To characterize the safety and tolerability of isatuximab in combination with atezolizumab in participants with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), platinum-refractory recurrent/metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN), platinum-resistant/refractory epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), or recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), and to determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D). * Phase 2: To assess response rate (RR) of isatuximab in combination with atezolizumab in participants with HCC or SCCHN or EOC. * Phase 2: To assess the progression free survival rate at 6 months (PFS-6) of isatuximab in combination with atezolizumab, or as a single agent in participants with GBM. Secondary Objectives: * To evaluate the safety profile of isatuximab monotherapy (GBM only), or in combination with atezolizumab in Phase 2. * To evaluate the immunogenicity of isatuximab and atezolizumab. * To characterize the pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of isatuximab single agent (GBM only) and atezolizumab in combination with isatuximab. * To assess the overall efficacy of isatuximab in combination with atezolizumab, or single agent (GBM only).
