NCT01687712
The purpose of this study is to show that AFOLIA, a recombinant manufactured human follicle stimulating hormone (r-hFSH) has a similar efficacy and safety profile compared to Gonal-f® RFF.
NCT00279045
The study will compare and evaluate the effects of long-term treatment of monotherapy with rosiglitazone, metformin and glyburide/glibenclamide on the improvement and maintenance of glycemic control in patients with recently diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus.
NCT02233101
Purpose: Examine oral and intravenous Tranexamic Acid (TXA) to determine whether or not the different routes of drug administration are equivalent in terms of post-operative reduction in hemoglobin, number of transfusions, and post-operative blood loss following TJA surgery. Hypothesis: Oral and intravenous TXA are equivalent routes of drug administration.
NCT00381797
This phase II trial is studying how well giving bevacizumab together with irinotecan works in treating young patients with recurrent, progressive, or refractory glioma, medulloblastoma, ependymoma, or low grade glioma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Bevacizumab may also stop the growth of glioma by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving bevacizumab together with irinotecan may kill more tumor cells.
NCT01708252
Up to 10 subjects will be enrolled. All subjects will receive an increased density UltherapyTM treatment at dual depth. Treatments will be provided to the lower 2/3 of the face and neck. Follow-up visits will occur at 90 and 180 days post-treatment. Study images will be obtained pre-treatment, 30-60 min post-treatment, and at each follow-up visit.
NCT00867087
The purpose of this study is to evaluate inotuzumab ozogamicin in combination with rituximab prior to an autologous stem cell transplant (aSCT) in patients with relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
NCT01281254
To determine if AMG 386 plus pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) is superior to placebo plus PLD as measured by progression-free survival (PFS) The hypothesis for this study is that AMG 386 plus PLD will prolong PFS compared to placebo plus PLD in women with recurrent partially platinum sensitive or resistant epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer.
NCT02235597
The investigators seek to improve health systems so underserved people, patients without insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, as well as self pay and their caregivers can better access health care for common problems and acute care needs (same day appointments).
NCT02290691
The purpose of this study is to determine if the administration of flu vaccine using Needle-Free is equivalent to Needle and Syringe administration as measured by laboratory tests of immune response.
NCT00528606
This was a Phase 3, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study conducted in the United States. Subjects with a diagnosis of Dupuytren's contracture in a metacarpophalangeal (MP) or proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint that resulted in a fixed flexion deformity of at least one finger, other than the thumb, that was at least 20° as measured by finger goniometry and was suitable for injection were randomized 2:1 to receive AA4500 0.58 mg or placebo. This study was designed to be part of the larger clinical program, for adult patients with Dupuytren's contracture with a palpable cord, where the data from 2 pivotal Placebo-Controlled studies (AUX-CC-857 (NCT00528606) and AUX-CC-859 (NCT00533273)) and 7 non-pivotal studies were evaluated.
NCT00843518
The purpose of this study is to determine whether this drug can help symptoms of aggression and agitation in participants with Alzheimer's disease.
NCT00991120
The purpose of the Extension Phase of the COMPASS-HF study is to continue to observe the safety of the Chronicle® Implantable Hemodynamic Monitor (IHM) system and Chronicle ICD system and provide study doctors continued access to the heart pressure information recorded by the Chronicle devices which may be used to help manage heart failure. The Extension Phase of the COMPASS-HF study is limited to people who have already received the investigational system and are currently enrolled in a Chronicle IHM or ICD study.
NCT00486200
A study of ASP2151 in subjects with recurrent outbreaks of genital herpes.
NCT00283712
Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is a rare skin disorder that causes blistering of the skin and mucous membranes. Infliximab is a man-made antibody used to treat certain types of immune system disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease. This study will determine if infliximab given in combination with prednisone is a safe and effective treatment for adults with PV.
NCT02452892
The purpose of this study is to compare the relative effectiveness of 20 and 60 minutes of Low-Field Magnetic Stimulation in relieving symptoms in patients with major depression who are treatment resistant.
NCT02138825

NCT00500331
This is a dose-ranging study that will evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of a range of doses of investigational product and pioglitazone, compared to placebo, administered as monotherapy over 12 weeks in treatment naive patients with T2DM
NCT01009437
RATIONALE: Ritonavir may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cancer cell growth. Studying samples of blood and tissue from patients with breast cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about the effects of ritonavir on biomarkers involved in breast cancer growth. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is studying the best dose of ritonavir and its effects on biomarkers in women undergoing surgery for newly diagnosed breast cancer.
