NCT07050810
Thera-Clean® Microbubble has proved to improve skin conditions in animals, however little research has been done regarding human subjects. Microbubble technology is a chemical-free therapeutic aimed at clearing foreign and organic matter from hair follicles, eliminating odors, and reducing itch. This hydrotherapy is said to aid in the healing process of inflamed and distressed tissue, relieve pain, and serve to remove contaminated tissue. This study will evaluate the change in skin conditions from the use of Thera-Clean® Microbubble for cleansing and debriding wounds from selected subjects focused on patients with inflammatory skin disease (epidermolysis bullosa, ichthyosis, atopic dermatitis and/or psoriasis). Proper wound care to prevent infection is vitally important for these patients and the options of therapeutics are limited. This study will evaluate the change in skin conditions from the use of Thera-Clean® Microbubble for cleansing and debriding lesional skin.
NCT05654142
This is a multisite clinical trial of healthy lifestyle programs for middle-to-older-aged adults (50 -74 years) to improve their weight and, therefore, reduce risk for chronic disease. This study will investigate whether a proven, self-directed video-based lifestyle program can be significantly enhanced with the assistance of a coach via videoconference or phone to help people as they adopt healthy eating and exercise behaviors. Additionally, the study will examine what factors might explain why some people achieve better outcomes than others. Understanding this can help to tailor the program to an individual for personalized care in the future. Importantly, this study aims to demonstrate how readily a digital lifestyle program, with or without remote coaching, can be seamlessly delivered to patients at home via the patient portal of their electronic health record. This practical use of existing telehealth tools could be a feasible and effective means to offer behavioral treatments during routine medical care.
NCT06280664
The purpose of this protocol is to study the efficacy of hiatal closure for early GERD disease. The study team hypothesizes that hiatal closure for early GERD disease is an efficacious treatment of GERD.
NCT06567743
This is a Phase 2, Multi-Arm, Multi-Cohort, Open-Label Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Cretostimogene Grenadenorepvec in Participants with High-Risk Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer.
NCT06113471
This study is being conducted to determine the efficacy and safety of povorcitinib in participants with nonsegmental vitiligo.
NCT06679270
This Phase 3 study is an Open Label Extension of the APG-20 Study To Evaluate the Long-term Safety and Efficacy of Daily Subcutaneous Metreleptin Treatment in Subjects with Partial Lipodystrophy
NCT05699174
This is a Phase III clinical randomized control trial to investigate differences between patient with an infected nonunion treated by PO vs. IV antibiotics. The study population will be 250 patients, 18 years or older, being treated for infected nonunion after internal fixation of a fracture with a segmental defect less than one centimeter. Patients will be randomly assigned to either the treatment (group 1) PO antibiotics for 6 weeks or the control group (group 2) IV antibiotics for 6 weeks. The primary hypothesis is that the effectiveness of oral antibiotic therapy is equivalent to traditional intravenous antibiotic therapy for the treatment of infected nonunion after fracture internal fixation, when such therapy is combined with appropriate surgical management. Clinical effectiveness will be measured as the primary outcome as the number of secondary re-admissions related to injury and secondary outcomes of treatment failure (re-infection, nonunion, antibiotic complications) within the first one year of follow-up, as defined by specified criteria and determined by a blinded data assessment panel. In addition, treatment compliance, the cost of treatment, the number of surgeries required, the type and incidence of complications, and the duration of hospitalization will be measured.
NCT03742102
This study is designed to determine the efficacy and safety of durvalumab in combination with novel oncology therapies with or without paclitaxel and durvalumab + paclitaxel for first-line metastatic triple negative breast cancer

NCT04005976
The Montalcino Aortic Consortium (MAC) will provide the infrastructure to assemble large cohorts of patients with mutations in known heritable thoracic aortic disease (H-TAD) genes, define the phenotype associated with these genes, and determine genetic and environmental modifiers of H-TAD.
NCT05926765
This study will assess the efficacy and safety of bilateral intra-parotid administration of AAV2-hAQP1 in adults with Grade 2 or Grade 3 radiation-induced late xerostomia.

NCT06528093
This study is open to adults with advanced pancreatic cancer for whom previous treatment was not successful or no treatment exists. The purpose of this study is to find the highest dose of BI 765883 that people with advanced pancreatic cancer can tolerate when taken alone or together with chemotherapy. Another purpose is to check whether BI 765883 helps people with advanced pancreatic cancer. In this study, BI 765883 is given to humans for the first time. Participants receive either BI 765883 alone or BI 765883 in combination with chemotherapy. Participants can stay in the study as long as they benefit from treatment and can tolerate it. At study visits, doctors collect information on any health problems of the participants and check the severity of participants' cancer.
