NCT00134030
This randomized phase III trial is studying combination chemotherapy followed by surgery and two different combination chemotherapy regimens with or without PEG-interferon alfa-2b to compare how well they work in treating patients with osteosarcoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more tumor cells. Biological therapies, such as PEG-interferon alfa-2b, may interfere with the growth of tumor cells. Giving combination chemotherapy before surgery may shrink the tumor so it can be removed. Giving combination chemotherapy together with PEG-interferon alfa-2b after surgery may kill any remaining tumor cells. It is not yet known whether giving combination therapy together with PEG-interferon alfa-2b is more effective than two different combination chemotherapy regimens alone after surgery in treating osteosarcoma.
NCT04048876
This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, multinational, dose-finding study evaluating the efficacy of three treatment doses of CC-90001 compared with placebo, in Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) participants with Stage 2, Stage 3 liver fibrosis. This study is designed to assess response to treatment on measures of fibrosis and other efficacy parameters. It will also assess dose response and overall safety.
NCT03657160
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of vedolizumab when added to background aGvHD prophylaxis regimen compared to placebo and background aGvHD prophylaxis regimen on intestinal aGvHD-free survival by Day +180 in participants who receive allo-HSCT as treatment for a hematologic malignancy or myeloproliferative disorder.
NCT05283499
The purpose of this study is to test protocols being developed for the conduct of a large sale multi-site clinical trial which will compare opioids to non-opioids for managing post-surgical impacted 3rd molar extraction pain.
NCT00441896
The study consists of cohorts where participants are randomized, in a 2:1 ratio, to 1 of 2 sequences, A and B. In each cohort, Sequence A, comprised of participants, who will receive ascending doses of ganaxolone and ascending doses of placebo. Sequence B, comprised of participants, who will receive ascending doses of placebo and ascending doses of ganaxolone. The dosing level in each subsequent cohort will be based upon experience gained from previous cohorts.
NCT05462782
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) following a Paired Associative Stimulation (PAS) protocol on the memorization capacity of elderly individuals. For this purpose, we will apply TMS synchronized with a working memory (WM) task and assess its effects on cortical connectivity and memorization capacity by Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and WM task learning. This study will be carried out in an older population of healthy participants. We will use the study results to refine the task related PAS protocol towards enhancing memory performance and brain connectivity.
NCT05409378
To evaluate the safety and performance of The Meridian® TAVR Valve in patients with severe aortic regurgitation who present at high risk for aortic valve replacement surgery.
NCT02333188
This phase I/II trial studies the side effects of genetic analysis-guided dosing of paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation, fluorouracil, leucovorin calcium, and irinotecan hydrochloride (FOLFIRABRAX) in treating patients with gastrointestinal cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation, fluorouracil, leucovorin calcium, and irinotecan hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Genetic analysis may help doctors determine what dose of irinotecan hydrochloride patients can tolerate.
NCT04373460
To assess the efficacy and safety of Human coronavirus immune plasma (HCIP) to reduce the risk of hospitalization or death, the duration of symptoms and duration of nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal viral shedding.
NCT03519256
A study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of nivolumab or nivolumab Plus BMS-986205 with or without BCG in BCG-Unresponsive non-muscle invasive Bladder Cancer.
NCT02527681
This study characterized the pharmacokinetics and safety of a single dose of ceftobiprole in neonates and infants aged ≤ 3 months.
NCT04561115
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate bioequivalence of IVIG-PEG with Gamunex-C (IVIG-C) at steady-state as determined by comparing total Immunoglobulin G (IgG) area under the concentration-time curve during the defined dosing interval (\[AUC0-τ\] either every 3 weeks \[AUC0-21 days\] or every 4 weeks \[AUC0-28 days\]) and maximum concentration in a dosing interval (Cmax) in participants diagnosed with primary humoral immunodeficiency (PI) currently receiving chronic IVIG replacement treatment.
NCT04186637
This is a cohort-based, open-label dose escalation and expansion study in adults with advanced solid tumors or lymphoma, refractory or resistant to standard therapy, or without available standard or curative therapy.
NCT00667459
The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the PRESTIGE® LP Cervical Disc as a method of treating patients with symptoms of cervical degenerative disc disease at a single level from C3-C4 to C6-C7.
NCT02425826
This study will evaluate the clinical efficacy, the patients quality of life, and safety of oral apremilast 30 mg twice daily (BID) compared to placebo, in adult patients with moderate plaque psoriasis during the 16 week Placebo controlled Phase and then upto 1 year in the Extension Phase of the trial.
NCT04155190
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, stratified, vehicle-controlled study of the efficacy and safety of Patidegib Topical Gel, 2%, applied topically twice daily to the face of adult participants with non-Gorlin HF-BCC (high-frequency basal cell carcinoma). Participants will be randomized (1:1) to receive either Patidegib Topical Gel, 2%, or Vehicle for 9 months. Randomization will be stratified by gender. The primary endpoint is the number of nSEB (surgically eligible basal cell carcinoma) that develop on the face over the 9 month period. The primary end point will be assessed by imaging and tracking of BCCs consistently throughout the study in order to identify nSEBs.
NCT04672798
BRITEPath (BP) aims to support co-located mental health clinicians in the development of a high quality, effective, and personalized safety plan for referred patients who screen positive for depression and/or suicidal ideation. BRITEPath utilizes BRITE, a safety planning and emotion regulation app that is loaded on the patient's smart phone and has previously been shown to be well accepted and to reduce suicide attempts compared to usual care in psychiatric inpatients (HR = 0.49). To support mental health clinicians in the development of effective safety plans, study investigators will develop Guide2Brite (G2B), which provides step-by-step instructions for the mental health clinician on how to populate BRITE onto the patient's smartphone and BRITEBoard, a clinician dashboard that tracks patient symptoms, app use, and rating on helpfulness of different interventions assessed through BRITE.
