NCT05348577
This study will assess the efficacy and safety of capivasertib plus docetaxel versus placebo plus docetaxel in participants with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), all participants will receive the docetaxel with steroid therapy and receive androgen deprivation therapy. The intention of the study is to demonstrate that the combination of capivasertib plus docetaxel is superior to placebo plus docetaxel with respect to the overall survival and/or the radiographic progression free survival of study participants.
NCT03697070
The INSPIRE-ASP PNA trial is a cluster-randomized controlled trial of HCA hospitals comparing routine empiric antibiotic stewardship practices with real-time precision medicine computerized physician order entry smart prompts providing the probability that a non-critically ill adult admitted with PNA is infected with a resistant pathogen. Note: that enrolled "subjects" represents 59 individual HCA hospitals that have been randomized.
NCT04053075
Despite the critical importance of identifying hospital-associated outbreaks as early as possible in order to limit their spread, there are currently no standardized methods for cluster detection. The CLUSTER Trial (Cluster Linkage Using Statistics to Trigger and Evaluate Response) will assess whether a statistically-based automated cluster detection method coupled with a robust response protocol will enable rapid containment of hospital clusters as measured by a reduction in cluster size and duration as compared to routine hospital cluster detection methods coupled with the same response protocol. Note: that enrolled "subjects" represents 82 individual HCA Healthcare hospitals that have been randomized
NCT05139121
Study of the contraceptive efficacy, cycle control, safety, and tolerability of MR-100A-01 in approxmiately 1200 women for up to 13 cycles
NCT05386030
The clinical investigation is a randomized, subject- and evaluator-blinded, active treatment controlled, multicenter, clinical investigation, to demonstrate the non inferiority of saypha® VOLUME Lidocaine to one of the devices approved for the same indication (Juvéderm® Voluma™ XC).
NCT02152137
This phase II trial studies how well inolitazone dihydrochloride (efatutazone dihydrochloride) and paclitaxel work in treating patients with anaplastic thyroid cancer that has spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as efatutazone dihydrochloride and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.
NCT04451044
Multi-center, prospective, randomized controlled study comparing PCI guided by angiography versus iFR Co-Registration using commercially available Philips pressure guidewires and the SyncVision co-registration system, employing an adaptive design study for interim sample size re-estimation.
NCT05246280
This study will confirm the ability of Tc 99m tilmanocept imaging to predict clinical response in individuals with RA who are beginning anti-TNFα therapy.
NCT03523572
This is a study of trastuzumab deruxtecan for the treatment of HER2-positive unresectable or metastatic breast cancer following two or more prior anti-HER2 based regimens. Participants will receive this study drug along with a cancer drug, an immune checkpoint inhibitor, anti-PD1, called nivolumab. The study will be done in two parts: * Part 1 is to identify the recommended dose to use for treatment. * Part 2 is to find out how well the combination works, and how safe and tolerable it is.
NCT06149663
This is an intermediate-size expanded access program (EAP) study. The purpose of this EAP is to provide continued access to LP352, an investigational drug product being investigated in participants with DEEs. The EAP study will allow continued treatment with LP352 for eligible participants diagnosed with treatment resistant DEEs who successfully completed an LP352 Clinical Trial (Enrollment by Invitation) or an immediate family member who has the exact same gene mutation resulting in the same DEE epilepsy syndrome phenotype or a patient who previously participated in the lorcaserin EAP.
NCT04924660
The overarching goal of the Master Protocol is to find effective strategies for inpatient management of patients with COVID-19. Therapeutic goals for patients hospitalized for COVID-19 include hastening recovery and preventing progression to critical illness, multiorgan failure, or death. Our objective is to determine whether modulating the host tissue response improves clinical outcomes among patients with COVID-19. The primary analysis will include data from NCT05593770.
NCT02323321
To evaluate the effectiveness of the OCS™ Heart to recruit, preserve and assess donor hearts that may not meet current standard donor heart acceptance criteria (as identified above) for transplantation to potentially improve donor heart utilization for transplantation
NCT03421340
To prospectively compare non-complex biliary stone clearance using fluoroscopy/radiation-free direct solitary cholangioscopy (DSC) utilizing the SpyGlass™ system with non-complex biliary stone clearance using standard endoscopic retrograde cholangiography (ERC).
NCT05775406
This Phase 1 study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), and clinical activity of KT-253 in adult patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) high grade myeloid malignancies, acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), R/R lymphoma, myelofibrosis, and R/R solid tumors. The study will identify the pharmacologically optimal dose(s) (MTD) of KT-253 as the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D), based on all safety, PK, PD, and efficacy data.
NCT06734117
This prospective, non-interventional, single arm, longitudinal cohort multicenter study will recruit approximately 5600 consecutive all-comers, consisting of patients with signs and symptoms of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) who present in the emergency department (ED). The main objective of the study is to determine the clinical performance of Elecsys Troponin T hs Gen 6 versus the centrally adjudicated clinical diagnosis at various time points after ED presentation using the previously determined clinical cut-off of a universal 99th percentile upper reference limit.
NCT05601219
This study consists of dose escalation evaluation to determine the safety and tolerability of ADA-011 as a monotherapy. Following dose escalation, one or more dose expansion cohorts in selected indications will be explored to further evaluate the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of ADA-011.
NCT02806570
This is a multi-center, non-randomized, prospective Early Feasibility Study to evaluate the AccuCinch® Ventricular Restoration System in patients with symptomatic heart failure and concomitant functional mitral regurgitation that have stable symptoms on guideline-directed medical therapy
NCT03870633
This trial studies financial difficulty in participants with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and multiple myeloma. Assessment of financial difficulty may help to better understand the financial impact of cancer and come up with ways to help participants avoid financial problems during treatment.
NCT04681638
The treatment of patients with major burns requires resuscitation with massive amounts of fluid, typically a type of salt water that is given by vein. This frequently results in injury to vital organs, especially the lungs and kidneys, and even in death. In this study, the investigators propose to use plasma, a specially prepared blood product made from the liquid part of blood, that has undergone special treatment to reduce the risk of disease transmission. The aims include 1) reduce the amount of fluid given during the first 24 hours after a burn 2) reduce the incidence of lung injury and other complications related to the administration of funds and 3) determine if the blood product has any effect on inflammation. An overall decrease the amount of fluids that burn patients receive should decrease the potential for lung injury, decrease days in the hospital, and improve survival.
NCT04783935
The primary purpose of this study was to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of Mavenclad® tablets, in terms of disease activity and safety, in participants with highly-active relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS) previously participating in the MAGNIFY MS trial MS700568\_0022 (NCT03364036).
