NCT00269412
This is placebo-controlled study of three rifaximin doses in patients with DIBS. Subjects will be randomized to receive daily doses of placebo BID, rifaximin 275 mg BID, rifaximin 550 mg BID, or 1100 mg BID for 14 days. These four groups will subsequently receive an additional two weeks of placebo for a total of 4 weeks of treatment. A fifth group of subjects will receive rifaximin 550 mg BID for a period of 28 days. Subjects who successfully respond to treatment at the end of the 28-day Treatment Phase will be followed in a Post-treatment Phase that includes study visits during Weeks 6, 8, 12 and 16. Subjects who relapse during the Post-treatment Phase will be discontinued from the study.
NCT02986854

NCT00461526
Clinical Trial with TRN-002 in Women with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety and effectiveness of a new investigational drug in women for the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome. The investigational drug is a natural product taken from a plant that grows in South America. The study medication will be administered orally twice a day. Subjects will be not able to remain on certain standard IBS medications (anti-diarrheals) while participating in the study. The total duration of the study is 18 weeks. The study requires five study visits that include physical exams, ECG, blood draws, laboratory studies, and a colon procedure (such as a colonoscopy or flexible sigmoidoscopy if an appropriate procedure has not been performed in the last 5 years.) Participants will be asked to make entries into a touch-tone telephone diary on a daily basis. Participants must meet all of the following criteria: * Females at least 18 years of age * Diagnosis of diarrhea predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome * Willingness to make daily calls on a touch-tone telephone * Willingness to have an endoscopic and/or radiologic bowel evaluation, if you have not received one in the past 5 years. * Willingness to take an approved method of birth control (if required) Participants CANNOT meet any of the following criteria: * Serious medical or surgical conditions * Colon Cancer, Crohns Disease or Ulcerative Colitis * Pregnant or breast feeding
NCT00434395
The purpose of the study is to assess the effects of MOA-728 on cardiac repolarization in healthy subjects.
NCT02727686
Delayed post-operative hyponatremia occurs in 5-20% of patients following pituitary surgery and typically occurs on post-operative day 5-10.This decline in sodium can occur rapidly and have serious consequences such as altered mental status, seizures, coma, and even death. Despite significant research into patient demographics and risk factors, the investigators have not been able to predict which patients will suffer from delayed post-operative hyponatremia to date. At the Barrow Neurological Institute, physicians currently utilize an outpatient screening protocol to monitor patients' sodium levels after surgery, but this has yet to be effective for reducing readmissions following pituitary surgery. The etiology of delayed post-operative hyponatremia has been linked to water and sodium dysregulation in the post-operative period. It has been shown that post-operative day 1-2 sodium levels are statistically lower in patients who develop delayed hyponatremia, however, the numerical differences are not large enough to guide clinical management. The investigators propose that a water load on post-operative day 1 may expose underlying sodium/water dysregulation in the early post-operative period. This would improve physicians' understanding of the pathophysiology of post-operative hyponatremia, and it may help to serve as a screening tool for these patients in the future.
NCT00394251
The primary objective of this study was to compare the safety of dose-dense ABI-007 (Abraxane) 260 mg/m\^2 or Taxol 175 mg/m\^2 given every 2 weeks following dose-dense Adriamycin plus Cytoxan (AC) chemotherapy. Bevacizumab was administered at 10 mg/kg every 2 weeks throughout chemotherapy, and then at 15 mg/kg every 3 weeks following chemotherapy.
NCT01621802
The purpose of this study is to support licensure of GSK Biologicals' MMR vaccine (Priorix®) in the US by generating immunogenicity and safety data in contrast to the US standard of care, Merck's MMR vaccine (M-M-R®II), when given as a second dose to children four to six years of age.
NCT02717195
To evaluate the efficacy of 10 and 20 mg/day of Lu AF35700 on schizophrenia symptoms in patients with treatment-resistant schizophrenia (TRS)
NCT00765102
This is a phase II, open-label, multicenter, dual-strata study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of IV romidepsin given in combination with IV bortezomib for multiple myeloma (MM) patients with refractory or relapsed disease. Patients will be enrolled into one of two strata, bortezomib-resistant or bortezomib non-resistant.
NCT00394082
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of weekly ABI-007 in combination with bevacizumab. The evaluation of progression-free survival of weekly ABI-007 in combination with bevacizumab for patients with previously untreated advanced/metastatic breast cancer.
NCT02555215
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the long-term safety of BG00012 in subjects who completed Study 109MS202 (NCT02410200). Secondary objectives are as follows: To evaluate the long-term efficacy of BG00012 and to describe the long-term Multiple Sclerosis (MS) outcomes in subjects who completed Study 109MS202 (NCT02410200).

The purpose of the study is to determine the oral dosage of TR-701 to be used in Phase III studies in patients with complicated skin and skin structure infections.
NCT03660774
The Hemophilia Growth and Development Study (HGDS) nearly 25 years ago showed haemophilia and HIV impacted brain development, thinking, and behaviour in children and adolescents. The eTHINK study is designed to understand whether advances in hemophilia treatment have removed any impact of hemophilia. If there still is an impact of hemophilia, the eTHINK study will help to identify which children or adolescents are still at risk, and how to screen other children. Participants and their child will participate in a comprehensive assessment of child's brain development, thinking and behavior through completing tests and questionnaires. There is only one study visit of 1 to 1.5 hours with no follow-up required
NCT02787304
The purpose of this study is to determine if the investigational treatment volixibat (SHP626) is safe, tolerable and effective in adults with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
NCT03479125
A post-treatment follow-up observational study for liver disease subjects with or without liver cirrhosis after receiving emricasan or placebo. Subjects must have been enrolled in a prior IDN-6556 study to be eligible.
NCT00085449
RATIONALE: Giving low doses of chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, and radiation therapy before a donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant helps stop the growth of cancer cells. It also stops the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells when they do not exactly match the patient's blood. The donated stem cells may replace the patient's immune system and help destroy any remaining cancer cells (graft-versus-tumor effect). Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can also make an immune response against the body's normal cells. Giving cyclosporine and mycophenolate mofetil before transplant may stop this from happening. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects of alemtuzumab, fludarabine, and melphalan with or without cyclosporine, mycophenolate mofetil, and total-body irradiation before donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant and to see how well they work in treating patients with relapsed or refractory hematologic cancer.
