The researchers recognized the possible clinical usefulness of a shielded device or jig to help increase the accuracy but decrease the time of loading the seeds into the biocompatible material used intra-operatively. Therefore, the researchers created a prototype of a device called the GammaTile (GT) loader (design patent pending). The reusable device will be made of surgical quality stainless steel of sufficient thickness (greater than 10 half-value layers (HVL) to provide significant staff and user shielding as well as allowing it to be sterilized. It is utilized intraoperatively but off of the operative field and has no direct patient contact. Currently two sizes are planned. The first will accommodate a 2 inch x 2 inch collagen square and the second will accommodate a 1 inch x 1 inch collagen square. These are the most commonly used sizes of lyophilized collagen used in the Barrow Neurosurgical Institute (BNI) operating rooms (OR).

The participants of this study will have AUL spasticity and have a need for botulinum toxin type A injections. AUL spasticity is where people develop tightening or stiffness of the muscles in the arms. Botulinum toxin type A is used for the treatment of spasticity in addition to physiotherapy. This study will ask participants to describe their experience living with AUL spasticity. This information will be used to assess the Arm Activity Measure (ArmA). ArmA is a scale designed to assess upper limb function in people with AUL spasticity. This study could suggest changes to the ArmA to improve its suitability for people with AUL spasticity or even the development of a new scale.

This is a Phase 3, open-label, repeat-dose study designed to assess liver safety, non-liver safety, and efficacy of lixivaptan in participants who previously experienced liver chemistry test abnormalities while treated with tolvaptan and were permanently discontinued from the drug for that reason. Up to 50 eligible participants will be enrolled and treated with lixivaptan for 52 weeks following titration to an optimal dose.

RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Zoledronic acid may stop the growth of tumor cells in bone. Giving bevacizumab together with cyclophosphamide and zoledronic acid may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects of giving bevacizumab together with cyclophosphamide and zoledronic acid in treating patients with recurrent or refractory high-risk neuroblastoma.

Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, carboplatin, and etoposide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Sunitinib malate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. It is not yet known whether cisplatin or carboplatin and etoposide are more effective when given with or without sunitinib malate in treating small cell lung cancer.

Chronic human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in adults continues to be characterized by increased development of resistant virus, increased transmission of resistant virus and issues associated with the long-term toxicity of anti-retroviral therapy (ART), despite advances in development of new ART, which provides extensive insight in management of HIV-infected individuals. Cabotegravir (CAB) is a potent integrase inhibitor (INI) and rilpivirine (RPV) is a potent non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). A two-drug regimen (DR)with CAB plus RPV long acting (LA) product offers many potential advantages over daily oral regimens including better tolerability, improved compliance, adherence, less likely to develop resistance, and overall treatment satisfaction in virologically suppressed subjects. This is a single-arm, open-label, multicenter, short term facilitation study to evaluate the effect of an implementation strategy on the degree of acceptability, appropriateness, feasibility, fidelity and sustainability of clinical practices to deliver the CAB+RPV LA regimen to HIV infected subjects and to also measure subject satisfaction by recording timeliness of visits, length of visit and their education. Approximately 135 subjects will be enrolled in the study and the total duration of the study will be approximately 52-weeks.

People with schizophrenia display a broad range of cognitive impairments that have been identified as major determinants of poor functioning and disability. Also, people with schizophrenia are at increased risk for suicide, with approximately 40-50% of individuals attempting to take their own lives during their lifetime. The goal of the proposed study is to examine the impact of remote exercise training on cognition, suicide risk, daily functioning, and biomarkers of cognitive change and suicidality in people with schizophrenia.

The objective of this trial is to assess the efficacy and safety of CNM-Au8 as a remyelinating treatment for vision-impairing MS lesions in participants who have chronic vision impairment as a result of Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. The primary endpoint is to assess the efficacy and safety of CNM-Au8 as a remyelinating therapy in patients with stable RMS. The secondary endpoint is Change in Functional Composite Responder Analysis Score from Baseline to Week 24.
