NCT06637735
During pregnancy, women are exposed to physical, psychological and social changes and may experience anxiety and fears about childbirth. Traumatic birth perception is defined as perceiving birth as a threat to oneself and one\'s baby. This perception can negatively affect women\'s lives in the postpartum period. Midwives are the primary health professionals in preventing traumatic birth perception. In this context, it is envisaged to create an important basis for preventing traumatic birth perception in pregnant women through the training to be given.
NCT06637553
Due to the Westernization of diet in Taiwan, the risk of many chronic diseases has increased. Some diseases and improper treatments are closely related to menstrual pain and functional impairment in women. Women's menstrual pain can affect daily life and work, and many plant-based extracts have been found to have beneficial effects on alleviating menstrual pain. Therefore, the development of functional health food that can improve menstrual pain is of great significance for health promotion and the market. Coix seed has long been understood to have properties beneficial for menstrual health. Scientific research has demonstrated its effectiveness in alleviating menstrual pain. The primary ingredient, "coix seed extract," has been extensively studied, and its efficacy has been confirmed through numerous clinical and animal experiments. This study aims to scientifically investigate the effect of coix seed compound extract on menstrual pain in women and to understand its underlying mechanism and potential benefits.
NCT06639737
Immediately following the induction of general anesthesia, arterial hypotension may occur with an incidence of about 40% in patients classified as ASA 3 or 4. Perioperative arterial hypotension is associated with increased perioperative morbidity and mortality. The increased mortality associated with perioperative arterial hypotension has been reported up to 30 and 90 days after surgery. This association appears to be both dose-dependent and time-dependent (severity and duration of arterial hypotension). EchOptimal study aims to determine whether non invasive preoperative stroke volume optimization using transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) can reduce the incidence and severity arterial hypotension following induction of general anesthesia. This is prospective, randomized, controlled, double blinded study approved by ethics comittee. The primary objective of this study is to compare the incidence of arterial hypotension (mean arterial pressure \< 65 mmHg) within the first 15 minutes following the induction of general anesthesia, between 2 groups : * standard current care (stroke volume optimized after induction of general anesthesia using oesophageal doppler) and * preopertaive stroke volume optimization using transthoracic echocardiography measument of subaortic velocity time integral.
