The purpose of this study is to provide the latest information on the oral health status of patients, the lifetime of restorations, to quantify the incidence of defects rates on inserted restorations in conservative dentistry. Moreover, the study permits to compare needs of two different patient populations depending on the place of consultation (those consulting in hospital services and those consulting in private structures) and to compare the quality of coronary fillings in patients with of Gougerot Sjogren disease and those not affected. A minimum sample of 840 adult subjects consecutively seen at the investigator's office over a period of 33 months is expected ; 400 subjects included in private structures and 440 subjected included in university hospital services (8 to 15 patients per investigator), including at least 40 patients with Gougerot Sjogren disease (disease prevalence = 0.1%). The investigators of these study are 46 dentists working in private dental practices or private structures of dental care spread over the " Ile-de-France " and " Rhône-Alpes Auvergne " régions and 43 dentists working in 13 french university hospital services in odontology, including two hosting one consultation for Gougerot Sjogren disease, from the ReCOL network (Recherche Clinique en Odontologie Libérale).
NCT04491110
Introduction Sleeping problems experienced by cancer patients carers are frequent with 72% of carers reporting moderate to severe problems. Another consequence for this carers is the increase of suffering from depression and it is usually associated to carer overload. Objectives Main objective: \- To evaluate the effects of listening to music in sleep quality for oncology patients non-professional carers at home, and to evaluate the influence of specific factors that may modify that effect. Secondary objectives: * To assess the relationship between the waking state and the consequences during the day according to sleep characteristics. These include: 1\. Psychological results: 1. Quality of life. 2. Carer overload. 2\. Physical results: 1. Sleepiness during the day. 2. Physical activity, intensity and length evaluation. * To assess carers satisfaction with the intervention. Method Randomized clinical trial, single blinding and performed in oncological patients carers in several practices. 2 samples of 40 carers. Intervention group will be taken through a seven session intervention with music; control group will undergo seven sessions of therapeutic education (as a reminder). Results will be evaluated using Pittsburgh Quality of Sleep Index, triaxial accelerometer, EuroQol-5D-5L, Caregiver Strain Index, Epworth Sleepiness Scale and Client Satisfaction Questionnaire. Statistical analysis Basal values will be compared for both groups. Then the values before and after the intervention will be compared using Student's t distribution for normal continuous variables, and Wilcoxon's T test for paired data in continuous not normal variables. A multiple linear regression will be carried out. The system developed for the PREDIMEDPLUS study will be used to process accelerometer data results. This semi-automated system manages data capture in a continuous stream in a central server of Malaga University. Processing and analysis of this data is also centralised, with an open source package, GGIR v. 1.5-1248
NCT04894968
The ultimate goal of the PREDICT-HFpEF study is to identify and unravel predictors for the development of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) in a cohort at increased cardiovascular risk. Patients that were initially included in another prospective cohort study (LIFE-Heart study) and did not show evident heart failure at that timepoint, will be followed-up approximately 7-years after their initial inclusion in the LIFE-Heart study. Patients will be screened for the development of HFpEF and characterized with thorough clinical as well as laboratory assessment. Patients will be classified according to the presence of absence of heart failure and predictors for the development will be identified by using measurements taken at their initial inclusion in the LIFE-Heart study.

NCT05285072
This is a single center pilot study involving a single study visit for participants, with remote follow up data collected at 24 hours. Follow up at 3 months and 6 months later occurs as standard of care. The purpose of the study is to find out if a new type of imaging tracer (68Ga-DFO) can be used to show infection in patients with vascular grafts using PET/CT scans. These infections may be associated with significant ill health and mortality and can be difficult to diagnose. Effective treatments can require major surgery and long-term antibiotic therapy which may not be well tolerated nor feasible. Development of new imaging tracers that could detect bacteria causing graft infections with PET-CT scanners has great potential to benefit patients being considered for vascular surgery. A PET-CT scan combines images from a CT (Computerised Tomography) scan and a PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scan. The CT scan takes a series of X-rays across the organs inside the body. The PET scan uses a mildly radioactive tracer to show up areas of activity inside the body. The 68Ga-DFO tracer mimics particles that bacteria make to take up iron from the body to help them grow. The investigators hope this new tracer will go to areas where bacteria are causing infection and tell if the graft is infected. The investigators hope this type of tracer could be a better way to show infection than the tests currently used to diagnose infection.

The IMAGINE Cohort Study will identify and recruit a cohort of 8000 patients with IBS, IBD and healthy controls (2000 of each) who will be assessed in terms of their psychological status, dietary intake, gut microbiome, metabolomic and inflammatory markers and genotype, health-related quality of life, and health care resource use and associated costs. The cohort and healthy controls will be followed prospectively for up to 5 years after the completion of study enrolment.
NCT04191148
Study LBx-1001 is a multi-center randomized, double-blind study to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of LBP-EC01 in patients with indwelling urinary catheters, or requiring intermittent catheterization, and/or patients with asymptomatic bacteriuria caused by Escherichia coli (E. coli). This study population has been selected because LBP-EC01 is a phage cocktail where active bacterial host engagement is required to allow for amplification of the phage and evaluation of the safety and PK of the phage cocktail. Eligible patients will require confirmation of colonization with a urine sample taken within 10 days of randomization that cultures contain ≥10\^3 E. coli colony forming unit (CFU)/mL, without the patient having clinical signs or symptoms of an active urinary tract infection (UTI) requiring antibiotic treatment. Patients should have E. coli as the primary colonizing bacteria and must not have a secondary bacterial colonization at levels equal to or greater than that seen from E. coli.
NCT05283291
The Directed Imagery technique (YIT) is a set of stories that people create by first giving relaxation exercises and then visualizing the symbols given by the practitioner. Guided imagery is based on the understanding that the body and mind are interconnected and that the mind can affect the body. In directed imagery, the person's thoughts and imagination are focused and directed to a specific goal by the practitioner, usually through a sound recording. The directed imagery technique can be effective in solving problems such as pain, stress, fatigue, and anxiety in nursing care.
NCT04982679
Patellofemoral pain is a common disease, and it often couples with patellar malalignment. Previously, imbalance of the different quadriceps muscle heads was believed to be a causative factor of patellar malignment. However, findings from electromyography studies on quadriceps activities and patellar alignment in the last two decades were inconsistent. In order to better understand the relationship between quadriceps muscle imbalance and patellar malalignment, shear wave elastography (SWE), which can measure the passive and active muscle stiffness, may shed some new lights to this area. This study aims to examine whether the quadriceps muscle stiffness can predict the patellar position. The healthy young adult will be recruited in this study. Active and passive quadriceps muscle stiffness will be measured with the SWE in different conditions and the result will be correlated with the patellar position measured with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Also, electromyography (EMG) activity will be measured during the active stiffness measurement so as to establish the level of agreement between the EMG and SWE data. Linear regression will be used to calculate the relationship between different factors. The total number of subjects needed will be 55 by setting an effect size of 0.15 with two predictors, 80% power, and α at 0.05 in the linear regression. This project will be conducted at PolyU campus and an MRI clinic in Hong Kong. Hopefully, it could be started in July 2021 and will last for 1 year.
