The primary objective of this study is to evaluate candidate predictors of persistence on adalimumab (Imraldi®) participants diagnosed with immune-mediated inflammatory disease in Europe (EU). The secondary objectives of this study are to describe participant clinical characteristics at baseline, utilization of Imraldi® over time, biologic drug effectiveness over time, participant satisfaction with biologic administration, routine laboratory values and clinical evaluation measurements over time, use of relevant concomitant medication use over time, immunogenicity of biosimilars and to summarize safety events.

Currently, standard-of-care tractography is based on information obtained from diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). DTI is a diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (dMRI) technique that is routinely obtained on neurosurgical patients to assist in pre-operative planning. The primary objective of the proposed study is to determine the ability of msHARDI-based tractography to discern fibers in edematous brain regions.

The general purpose of this project is; Evaluation of cerebral oxygenation results in premature infants. These results will be evaluated in two different applications. The first practice and the first sub-aim of the study is to determine the effect of kangaroo care on cerebral oxygenation (rSO2) in premature infants. The second application and purpose is to determine the effect of giving the infant the facilitated tucking position by hand and the nesting bed on the cerebral oxygenation (rSO2) of the infant during the heel blood collection process. The study will be conducted between December 2020 and December 2021 at Level III NICU at the Medical Faculty Hospital in Konya.

The investigators will conduct a voluntary anonymous survey at four separate Sacramento area family planning clinics. The investigators will ask the staff at each facility to offer a survey to all women 18 and older presenting to the clinic to have a first trimester (\<12 weeks gestation) surgical abortion. Gestational age will be based on what the woman believes is her gestational age at presentation, before any evaluation in the clinic. Women who cannot understand or read the survey will be excluded. The investigators hope to implement the survey at these clinics for 3-4 months reaching a minimum of 200 women (based on a target population of 600 women receiving surgical first trimester abortions at these two clinics over a 3-4 month period with a 95% confidence interval).

The study is composed of two parts. In part A of the study two active doses of inhaled pegylated adrenomedullin (PEG-ADM) will be compared regarding safety and efficacy to a substance that has no therapeutic effect (placebo) in order to find an optimal and safe of the study drug. In part B of the study the highest dose that is considered safe and has demonstrated efficacy will be taken forward to collect information how well patients suffering from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) respond to treatment with inhaled pegylated adrenomedullin (PEG-ADM) compared to treatment with placebo. ARDS is a type of lung failure that cause fluid to build up in the lungs making breathing difficult or impossible.

The purpose of this project is to compare a newly developed automatic reversing dynamic air mattress, with a regular care mattress, which is in daily use at the hospital. Focus will be on pressure relief in relation to occurrence of pressure injury, user satisfaction, and the mattresses impact on sleep and pain. The participants will be randomized to start with the intervention mattress or the control mattress. Outcomes will be measured via validated forms regarding pressure related injuries, quality of life, pain, and mattress comfort. Custom made forms will be used regarding resource use and comfort in the nursing service, especially in relation to position changes in the participants .

This is a phase I-II study with the herbal formulation (HF2) for treatment of active ulcerative colitis This will be a two-stage study: Stage 1 will comprise an open label single arm exploratory study of 10 active ulcerative colitis (UC) patients investigating oral HF2 therapy for induction of remission in outpatients with active UC. Active disease is defined as (SCCAI) score ≥5 and a score of ≥2 in the modified Mayo endoscopic sub-score. Clinical remission is defined as a SCCAI score of ≤2 The patients will receive HF2 therapy for 4 weeks. Stage 2: If clinical response (defined as a drop of ≥3 points of the SCCAI score ) is achieved in ≥ 3 patients and no significant safety signals will emerge, the investigators will proceed to a prospective pilot randomized placebo-controlled study. Patients will be randomized into one of two arms: HF2 once daily or placebo formulation (2:1 proportion) for 8 weeks. The primary outcome for stage 2 is a co-primary outcome of clinical response (reduction in SCCAI of ≤3 OR achievement of clinical remission defined as SCCAI ≤2) coupled with an objective evidence of response (Mayo score improvement of ≥1 or 50% FcAL reduction) at week 8. Patients clinically responding at week 8, will be eligible to continue in an 8-weeks extension study to receive either placebo or 1.5gr/day curcumin alone until week 16, as per their original allocation. Exploratory analysis of outcomes for the extension study will include the percentage of patients in clinical remission (SCCAI≤2) and the percentage of patients who maintained clinical response (reduction in SCCAI of ≥3 point compared to week 0).

The diagnosis of bowel endometriosis lesions is in most cases a combination of anamnesis, clinical exam, transvaginal ultrasound (and/or MRI and/or endorectal sonography) and laparoscopy. Both the transvaginal ultrasound as well as the MRI have showed a great accuracy with very good sensititivity and specificity regarding the imaging diagnosis of bowel endometriosis. The conventional laparoscopy contributes to the diagnosis of bowel endometriosis by visualizing the nodules and palpating the deep endometriosis nodule using the instruments, therefor offering the surgeon a haptic feedback by grasping, pushing and rolling the bowel wall and the nodules. Horace Roman and Dan Martin showed that 25% of patients undergoing a conventional laparoscopic segmental bowel resection with a minilaparotomy hat palpable non-visualized endometriosis nodules. These nodules could be directly palpated with the hands because the bowel was exteriorized through the minilaparotomy. The direct palpation of the bowel offers of course a superior haptic feedback compared to the haptic feedback offered by the laparoscopic palpation using the instruments. However this was a direct palpation of only the oral part of the bowel. The aboral part of the bowel caudal to the staple line could not be evaluated by direct palpation. New surgical techniques for the segmental bowel resection with transvaginal/transanal NOSE(natural orifice specimen extraction) have been described in the last years. The novel techniques avoid the minilaparotomy and assure a 100% minimal invasive approach offering better esthetic outcomes. However in such cases a direct palpation of the bowel wall using the hands in order to identify non- visualizable nodules is not possible as the bowel remains the whole time of the procedure inside of the abdomen. On the other side the robotic-assisted laparoscopy doesn't offer the surgeon a haptic feedback at all. In these cases the surgeon has to rely on the visual aspects of the lesions and therefor "touch" the lesions with his eyes - the visual information should replace the haptic feedback. So in the case of a robotic assisted laparoscopic segemental bowel resection with a NOSE it is not possible to palpate the bowel at all - neither with instruments, not with the hands. Other surgical techniques used to excise smaller colorectal nodules are the rectal shaving and the full thickness excision (disc excision) using a circular stapler. In these situations the surgeon has to rely exclusively on the visual information as well on the haptic feedback given by the conventional laparoscopic instruments. In more than 30% of the cases of full thickness rectal resection the resection the margins are infiltrated by the endometriosis nodules. All the above mentioned situations raise the question of the radicallity in terms of healthy resection margins and of multifocal lesions that cannot be visualized and/or palpated. In this study we are evaluating the diagnostic value of the intraoperative intraabdominal ultrasound for deep infiltrating colorectal endometriosis.

Cerebral Palsy is defined as the cause of movement and posture disorders and activity limitation that develops in the fetal or infant brain that has not yet completed its development. When the literature is examined, although upper extremity and lower extremity involvements are common in individuals with hemiparetic CP, treatment programs are mostly aimed at the lower extremities. However, studies report that the upper extremity is more severely affected than the lower extremities in individuals with hemiparetic CP and that upper extremity functions have an effect on walking. Although different treatment methods have positive effects, their superiority over each other cannot be clearly reported. In this case, new intervention strategies based on sound methodological and scientific foundations are needed. At this point, virtual reality applications and robotic rehabilitation programs have started to play an important role in CP rehabilitation along with current developments in technology-assisted rehabilitation. Robotic devices provide visual, auditory and sensory inputs, making the process fun, while making the individual active in the treatment. It also enables the child to achieve goal-directed movements in children with motor disabilities. Various gait problems are seen in individuals with CP. Therefore, although lower extremity movements during walking have been well analyzed in the literature, upper extremity functions and especially arm movements during walking have received less attention. Although human gait is perceived as a situation that concerns only the lower extremities, it actually includes the coordinated movements of all four extremities. Individuals with hemiplegic CP usually have a markedly deviated arm position and reduced arm movement. This situation also affects the gait and balance of individuals with hemiparetic CP. Individuals change their upper extremity kinematics while increasing their walking speed to optimize gait and increase balance. In the light of this information, practices aimed at improving upper extremity movement and function should be included in the rehabilitation program of patients with hemiparetic CP, considering a holistic approach. Considering all these, we thought that if we increase the functions of the upper extremities, we can improve walking, and we planned this study.
