NCT03153111
This is a study to evaluate whether macitentan is an effective and safe treatment for patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and pulmonary vascular disease. The primary objective is to evaluate whether macitentan 10 mg reduces N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-pro-BNP) as compared to placebo in these patients.
NCT04420754
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability and determine the recommended Phase 2 dose of AIC100 Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cells in patients with relapsed/refractory poorly differentiated thyroid cancer and anaplastic thyroid cancer, including newly diagnosed.
NCT04804033
The purpose of this is study is to compare the efficacy of BHV-3500 (zavegepant) to placebo as a preventive treatment for migraine, as measured by the reduction in the number of migraine days per month.
NCT02744612
This phase II trial studies how well ibrutinib and brentuximab vedotin work in treating patients with Hodgkin lymphoma that has returned (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as brentuximab vedotin, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving ibrutinib together with brentuximab vedotin may be a better treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma.
NCT05855083
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of narsoplimab in pediatric patients with thrombotic microangiopathies (TMA) following hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT).
NCT05337631
The number of elderly head-and-neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) patients is increasing; however, the evidence regarding the ideal treatment for this often vulnerable and frail patient cohort is limited. Although the benefit of concomitant chemotherapy has been reported to decrease in elderly HNSCC patients based on the MACH-NC meta-analysis, it remains unknown whether state-of-the art radiotherapy techniques such as intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), modern supportive treatments and alternative chemotherapy fractionation (e.g., cisplatin weekly) may have altered this observation. The objective of this retrospective multinational multicenter study is to determine the oncological outcomes of elderly patients (≥65 years) with locally advanced HNSCCs undergoing definitive (chemo-)radiation and to investigate the influence of concomitant chemotherapy on overall survival and progression-free survival after adjusting for potential confounder variables such as age, performance status and comorbidity burden.
NCT03241459
To demonstrate the safety and efficacy of the SurVeil Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB) for treatment of subjects with symptomatic peripheral artery disease (PAD) due to stenosis of the femoral and/or popliteal arteries.
NCT01957722
This study is to compare NOVOCART 3D relative to Microfracture for the treatment of knee cartilage defects. Efficacy will be evaluated by both pain and function. Safety will also be evaluated.
NCT02584647
The purpose of this study is to determine if treatment with PLX3397 and Sirolimus will be tolerated and result in shrinking of the cancer or stopping the cancer from growing. In the phase I portion, the maximum tolerate dose of the study drug will be determined. In the Phase II portion, progression free survival will be assessed at the dose level found in Phase I. Participants will continue to take the study drug until they experience an unacceptable side effect or their disease progresses. Funding Source - FDA OOPD
NCT05227144
The purpose of this study is to establish the Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D), safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and preliminary antimyeloma activity of ORIC-533 in patients with multiple myeloma who have exhausted available treatment options
NCT04766892
This is a Phase 2a proof-of-concept study to assess safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of mavacamten treatment on biomarker levels in participants with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and elevation of NT-proBNP with or without elevation of cTnT. Data from this study will inform future study designs of mavacamten in patients with HFpEF.
NCT05782296
A clinical study designed to validate the safety and performance of the TrueLabor™ device in monitoring labor vs. current standard of care.
NCT03881176
\- Brief Summary: Prospective, cohort, open-label study. The cohort consists of people who have a chronic balance dysfunction due to a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI). All participants will participate in a 14-week PoNS Treatment protocol - a combination of symptom specific physical exercises and repeated use of the PoNS device. Subjects who meet the initial screening entrance criteria will be scheduled for a baseline assessment to evaluate balance and gait. Subjects will then begin the PoNS Treatment program and re-perform some assessments at 2, 5 and 14 weeks evaluating their functional improvements.
NCT01968187
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of intranasal FE 992097 in children and adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome.
NCT05546385
A prospective, multi-centre, randomized, double-blind, sham-controlled, parallel-group, group-sequential study to investigate safety and effectiveness of the Rehaler partial rebreathing device, in adults suffering from migraine with aura
NCT03734640
OPTIMISTmain is an investigator-initiated and conducted, international, multicentre, stepped wedge cluster randomized controlled trial comparing the effects of different intensities of nursing care monitoring for patients with acute ischemic stroke of mild severity and without critical care needs after IV-tPA.
NCT05403944
The objective of this study is to compare a novel 6-week strength training rehabilitation incorporating power exercises (STRIPE) program to a standard of care (SOC) program on short-term and long-term pain, subjective function, patellofemoral pain recurrence rates, and secondary outcomes (hip abduction and extension rate of torque development and single-leg squat kinematics). We hypothesize that participants with patellofemoral pain who complete the STRIPE program will have 1) decreased pain, 2) improved subjective function, 3) reduced patellofemoral pain recurrence rates, 4a) improved hip abduction/extension rate of torque development, and 4b) decreased hip adduction and pelvic drop during a single leg squat compared to participants who complete a SOC rehabilitation program.
NCT03206801
This is a Phase II-III multi-center prospective randomized controlled clinical trial of incident adult renal transplant patients. The primary objective of this study is to determine if the early treatment of rejection, as detected by urinary CXCL10, will improve renal allograft outcomes.
NCT03692715
This is a two arm, double blind RCT comparing the use of a single dose ciprofloxacin prior to SWL to saline alone. The multicenter trial will be conducted with a pragmatic emphasis including both high volume and low volume sites internationally.
NCT06354010
The purpose of this study is to characterize and assess the evolution of hearing impairment of patients with adulthood-onset bilateral sensorineural hearing loss carrying mutations on GJB2 gene.
