NCT05512377
This study is open to adults with advanced cancer in the biliary tract, pancreas, lung, or bladder. This is a study for people for whom previous treatment was not successful or no treatment exists. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called BI 907828 helps people with cancer in the biliary tract, pancreas, lung, or bladder. BI 907828 is a so-called MDM2 inhibitor that is being developed to treat cancer. All participants take BI 907828 as a tablet once every 3 weeks. Participants may continue to take BI 907828 as long as they benefit from treatment and can tolerate it. They visit the study site regularly. At the study site, doctors regularly check the size of the tumour and whether it has spread to other parts of the body. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.

NCT03604978
This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of nivolumab when given together with multi-fraction stereotactic radiosurgery and to see how well they work with or without ipilimumab in treating patients with grade II-III meningioma that has come back (recurrent). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Stereotactic radiosurgery is a specialized radiation therapy that delivers a single, high dose of radiation directly to the tumor and may cause less damage to normal tissue. Giving nivolumab and multi-fraction stereotactic radiosurgery with or without ipilimumab may work better in treating patients with grade II-III meningioma.
NCT04929028
This phase II trial studies the side effects of chemotherapy and intensity modulated radiation therapy in treating patients with low-risk HIV-associated anal cancer, and nivolumab after standard of care chemotherapy and radiation therapy in treating patients with high-risk HIV-associated anal cancer. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Chemotherapy drugs, such as mitomycin, fluorouracil, and capecitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving chemotherapy with radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving nivolumab after standard of care chemotherapy and radiation therapy may help reduce the risk of the tumor coming back.
NCT05600894
This phase II trial tests whether decitabine and cedazuridine (ASTX727) in combination with venetoclax work better than ASTX727 alone at decreasing symptoms of bone marrow cancer in patients with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), myelodysplastic syndrome/myeloproliferative neoplasm (MDS/MPN) with excess blasts. Blasts are immature blood cells. Decitabine is in a class of medications called hypomethylation agents. It works by helping the bone marrow produce normal blood cells and by killing abnormal cells in the bone marrow. Cedazuridine is in a class of medications called cytidine deaminase inhibitors. It prevents the breakdown of decitabine, making it more available in the body so that decitabine will have a greater effect. Venetoclax is in a class of medications called B-cell lymphoma-2 (BCL-2) inhibitors. It may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking Bcl-2, a protein needed for cancer cell survival. The combination of ASTX727 and venetoclax may be more effective in reducing the cancer signs and symptoms in patients with CMML, or MDS/MPN with excess blasts.
NCT05939453
This is a placebo controlled clinical trial to assess the utility of light therapy as a sufficient treatment for excessive daytime sleepiness in patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome
NCT07583342
The goal of this study is to learn if Relizorb, a fat-digesting enzyme, can improve tolerance of tube feeds in adult patients with moderate to severe pancreatitis. The main question it aims to answer is: Does Relizorb allow more nutrition to be delivered to participants than they received without it? Participants will be observed with standard, universal monitoring after adding Relizorb to their nutrition regimen.
NCT06373731
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics of elamipretide in subjects with dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The main questions it aims to answer are: what is the rate of change in the macular area of photoreceptor loss in subjects who receive a daily dose of elamipretide compared with those who receive a look-alike substance that contains no active drug, and what is the safety and tolerability of elamipretide daily subcutaneous injections. Participants will receive either once daily subcutaneous doses of 40mg elamipretide or placebo and the two treatment groups will be compared.
NCT07061847
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a new treatment in improving chronic migraine symptoms. This treatment involves a targeted lidocaine infusion into blood vessels in the skull to numb pain receptors, potentially leading to improvements in chronic migraine intensity, frequency, and duration.
NCT04630028
The purpose of this study is to evaluate: a) the efficacy of ustekinumab dosing in inducing clinical remission, b) safety profile of ustekinumab, and c) ustekinumab exposure (pharmacokinetics \[PK\]) in pediatric participants with moderately to severely active UC.
NCT05063552
This phase II/III compares the standard therapy (chemotherapy plus cetuximab) versus adding bevacizumab to standard chemotherapy, versus combination of just bevacizumab and atezolizumab in treating patients with head and neck cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic or advanced stage) or has come back after prior treatment (recurrent). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Bevacizumab is in a class of medications called antiangiogenic agents. It works by stopping the formation of blood vessels that bring oxygen and nutrients to tumor. This may slow the growth and spread of tumor. Cetuximab is in a class of medications called monoclonal antibodies. It binds to a protein called EGFR, which is found on some types of cancer cells. This may help keep cancer cells from growing. Cisplatin and carboplatin are in a class of chemotherapy medications known as platinum-containing compounds. They work by killing, stopping, or slowing the growth of cancer cells. Docetaxel is in a class of chemotherapy medications called taxanes. It stops cancer cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. The addition of bevacizumab to standard chemotherapy or combination therapy with bevacizumab and atezolizumab may be better than standard chemotherapy plus cetuximab in treating patients with recurrent/metastatic head and neck cancers.
NCT04431479
This trial collects clinical data and blood samples to predict the quality of response to specific treatments in patients with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) who are about to start a new therapy. Collecting and analyzing clinical data and blood samples from patients with cGVHD before and after treatment initiation may help doctors identify changes that may predict treatment response.
NCT02298959
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of ziv-aflibercept when given together with pembrolizumab in treating patients with solid tumors that that may have spread from where it first started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced). Ziv-afibercept works by decreasing blood and nutrient supply to the tumor, which may result in shrinking the tumor. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving ziv-aflibercept together with pembrolizumab may be a better treatment for patients with advanced solid tumors.
