NCT00446849
To evaluate the percentage of subjects with clinical recurrence of UC at 6 months using MMX mesalamine once daily.
NCT01268098
Use of PTH (1-84) a recombinant hormone in 25 µg or 50 µg doses for the treatment of adults with hypoparathyroidism. The use of PTH (1-84) should result in a decrease of calcium and vitamin D supplements.
NCT01620255
To determine the dose or doses of PF-00547659 that will be the most effective to improve or halt the disease symptoms in patients with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis.
NCT01470469
This study will evaluate the safety and tolerability of SPD503 in subjects aged 6-17 years with GAD, SAD, or SoP based on treatment emergent adverse events (TEAEs), vital signs and ECGs.
NCT01052012
This is a research study testing SABER-Bupivacaine (an experimental pain-relieving medication). SABER-Bupivacaine is designed to continuously deliver bupivacaine, a common local anesthetic, for a few days in order to treat local post-surgical pain. The purpose of this study is to investigate safety (side effects) associated with the use of SABER-Bupivacaine and how well it works in reducing pain and opioid-related side effects following various kinds of abdominal surgeries.
NCT00305006
A randomized control trial of bimanual training. The protocols have been developed at Columbia University to be child friendly and draws upon our experience since 1997 with constraint-induced movement therapy in children with cerebral palsy.
NCT01049919
This trial will evaluate the safety and efficacy of concentrated bone marrow aspirate (cBMA) to prevent or delay major amputation and/or death in subjects with critical limb ischemia (CLI) due to severe peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
NCT04898205
This study will test the efficacy of treadmill exercise combined with supplemental oxygen during exercise and recovery for the treatment of persistent post-acute COVID-19 symptoms. Participants will be pseudo-randomized (stratified by age) to one of four conditions for 8 treatment sessions: 1) treadmill exercise plus supplemental oxygen, 2) treadmill exercise plus air, 3) supplemental oxygen only, 4) air only. All participants will then cross-over and receive 16 additional sessions of treadmill exercise plus supplemental oxygen.
NCT02365922
Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration (FTLD) is the neuropathological term for a collection of rare neurodegenerative diseases that correspond to four main overlapping clinical syndromes: frontotemporal dementia (FTD), primary progressive aphasia (PPA), corticobasal degeneration syndrome (CBS) and progressive supranuclear palsy syndrome (PSPS). The goal of this study is to build a FTLD clinical research consortium to support the development of FTLD therapies for new clinical trials. The consortium, referred to as Advancing Research and Treatment for Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration (ARTFL), will be headquartered at UCSF and will partner with six patient advocacy groups to manage the consortium. Participants will be evaluated at 14 clinical sites throughout North America and a genetics core will genotype all individuals for FTLD associated genes.
NCT00293423
Vaccines made from a person's tumor cells, such as gp96 heat shock protein-peptide complex, may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of gp96 heat shock protein-peptide complex vaccine to see how well it works in treating patients with recurrent or progressive high-grade glioma over time.
NCT04290676
Retrospective study to provide clinical outcomes with DEXYCU (dexamethasone intraocular suspension) 9%.
NCT01106430
This study will evaluate how long it takes for ADHD symptoms to improve in subjects who are judged by the Investigator to have had an inadequate response to methylphenidate therapy. The study will also test the safety of Lisdexamfetamine Dimesylate and how well it works.
NCT02998541
The purpose of this study is to determine if an investigational treatment is effective compared with placebo and PVP-Iodine in the treatment of adults and children with adenoviral conjunctivitis.
NCT03291288
This study has two parts. Part 1 will evaluate how pexidartinib affects the way the body processes CYP3A4 and CYP2C9 substrates using midazolam and tolbutamide, respectively, as probe agents. Part 2 will test the efficacy and safety of pexidartinib treatment in various tumor types. In Part 2, the same participants will continue to receive pexidartinib twice daily. Participants will be allowed to continue using pexidartinib as long as the participant derives benefit.
NCT01124149
This study was designed to evaluate if subjects who achieve complete remission after 8 weeks of acute therapy with MMX mesalamine/mesalazine 4.8g/day given QD have better long-term outcomes and remain in remission longer compared with subjects who demonstrate only partial remission after acute therapy with MMX mesalamine/mesalazine 4.8g/day given QD. Therefore, subjects who achieve either complete or partial remission will enter into a 12-month maintenance phase, during which they will receive MMX mesalamine/mesalazine 2.4g/day given QD. Remission status for the 2 groups will be evaluated and compared at the end of this 12-month maintenance period. The data obtained from this study will provide scientifically meaningful information to demonstrate that achieving complete remission (clinical and endoscopic remission) is important for a better long-term prognosis, or that the current paradigm of symptomatic treatment is appropriate.
NCT00172094
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a single oral dose of NPS 1776 in the acute treatment of migraine pain and associated symptoms.
NCT01210430
The investigators study will determine how often blood flow regulation abnormalities and abnormalities of sympathetic regulation produced by nitric oxide, angiotensin-II, and oxidative stress occur in POTS and the mechanism(s) of POTS in individual patients. Specific causes for POTS may vary from patient to patient. Patients will be compared to healthy control subjects. There is a treatment arm with a medication (losartan) that reduces the binding of angiotensin and increases NO. If the investigators know the specific biochemical mechanism the investigators may be able to offer further specific treatments to specific patients.
NCT02886728
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of filgotinib in combination with methotrexate (MTX) versus MTX alone in adults with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
NCT02842242
The purpose of this phase 2 open-label pilot study is to evaluate the efficacy, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), safety, and tolerability of MYK-461 in subjects with symptomatic HCM and LVOT obstruction aged 18-70 years.
NCT03282591
Study of the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of serlopitant for the treatment of refractory chronic cough
