NCT00856973
A multi center, randomized study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of eszopiclone compared to placebo in children (6-11 years of age, inclusive) and adolescents (12-17 years of age, inclusive) with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) associated insomnia.
NCT00107237
RATIONALE: AEE788 and everolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Giving AEE788 together with everolimus may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of AEE788 when given together with everolimus and to see how well they work in treating patients with recurrent or relapsed glioblastoma multiforme.
NCT00527423
Rollover study for subjects in prior VEGF Trap-Eye Phase I and II studies. Primary objective is to assess long-term safety and tolerability of continuing intravitreal treatment in subjects with wet age-related macular degeneration.
NCT00780507
The present study will analyze fecal levels of FC and FL in UC patients who relapse (flare) while on a QD or a BID Asacol treatment regimen and compare those levels to levels of FC and FL in UC patients who do not relapse (flare).
NCT00943072
This is a phase 3 study to determine the efficacy of VEGF Trap-Eye injected into the eye on vision function in subjects with macular edema as a consequence of central retinal vein occlusion.
NCT00022048
RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or deliver cancer-killing substances to them. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is to see if bevacizumab works in treating patients who have myelodysplastic syndrome.
NCT00178503
This study examined the cognitive and behavioral differences in children who have an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with or without additional symptoms of ADHD. The study also examined the effectiveness of a range of doses of methylphenidate in improving cognitive and behavioral outcomes in children with both ASD and ADHD.
NCT00178542
The primary objective of this study is to describe characteristics and trends for thrombin generation (TG) and thromboelastography (TEG) at 4 time points during the menstrual cycle.
NCT01076530
This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of vorinostat when given together with temozolomide in treating young patients with relapsed or refractory primary brain tumors or spinal cord tumors. Vorinostat may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Vorinostat may help temozolomide work better by making tumor cells more sensitive to the drug.
NCT00897858
RATIONALE: Studying samples of cerebrospinal fluid from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors identify biomarkers related to cancer. PURPOSE: This laboratory study is studying cerebrospinal fluid proteins and angiogenesis proteins in young patients with newly diagnosed central nervous system tumors.
NCT00584038
The purpose of this study is to determine whether contraceptive compliance by young women can be improved through expanded counseling by a health educator at the initial clinic visit as compared with standard care.
NCT00012246
RATIONALE: Vaccines may make the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells. PURPOSE: Randomized phase II trial to compare the effectiveness of two different vaccines in treating patients who have cancer of the gastrointestinal tract.
NCT00736398
This is an observational study to assess clinical outcomes in patients who undergo spinal fusion. Patients who are already scheduled for spinal fusion will enroll in the study. Information about prior therapies will be collected, and then patients will be followed to see how they do after spinal fusion. This study will help researchers better understand the natural course of patients who patients who undergo spinal fusion surgery.
NCT00006093
RATIONALE: EMD 121974 may stop the growth of cancer by stopping blood flow to the tumor. PURPOSE: Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of EMD 121974 in treating patients who have progressive or recurrent malignant glioma.
NCT00005855
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of efaproxiral when given with carmustine and to see how well they work in treating patients with progressive or recurrent malignant glioma.
NCT00003301
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. PURPOSE: Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of irinotecan in treating patients with recurrent malignant glioma.
NCT01695720
The purpose of the study is to accumulate efficacy data on VisionScope Imaging (VSI) for pre-operative diagnosis of certain knee injuries (meniscal and articular cartilage injuries). The study will compare VSI's accuracy to MRI's in diagnosing the same injuries. The hypothesis is the VisionScope Imaging system will be able to provide direct visualization and diagnostic images of inside the joint capsule space without fluid distention in the knee. This study will provide valuable feedback on the ability of the VisionScope system to provide physicians with the information they need to make a definitive diagnosis.
NCT01450982
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of JNJ-38518168 on the pharmacokinetics (how the body handles a drug) of methotrexate in participants with rheumatoid arthritis.
NCT01577563
RATIONAL is a multinational, multicentre, observational, cross sectional study of adult patients in treatment with NSAID therapy for OA, RA or AS during for at least 2 weeks before study visit (at least one dose).
NCT00928395
This is a modified extension study to the SUmiT protocol UPC082008 (NCT00534521) to observe and evaluate long term therapy with PTNS on overactive bladder symptoms. Subjects must have completed the 12 weekly treatments of the original protocol, the 13 week follow up assessment, be randomized to the PTNS arm, and be considered a positive responder with moderate or marked improvement in the SUmiT Trial to be enrolled in this study. All consenting responders will continue with active PTNS therapy at an initially prescribed protocol for approximately 3 months followed by individualized symptom-based frequency of visits as determined by the subject along with their treating clinician, for up to a total of 33 months post initial 12-week therapy for a total of 3 years.
