NCT02718300
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of the combination of parsaclisib and ruxolitinib in subjects with myelofibrosis.
NCT01755221
The purpose of this research study is to better understand whether information obtained from a pH probe can help physicians predict whether a patient will respond to the medication that is prescribed for laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR). The current treatment given to individuals who are diagnosed with LPR is a course of proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medication. Subjects who agree to participate in this study will have a small flexible tube (about the width of a piece of cooked spaghetti) placed in their throat. This tube measures the pH in the throat over a period of 24 hours and helps physicians study the relationship between pH level, LPR symptoms, and the effectiveness of PPI therapy. This study may help physicians find out if certain symptoms or characteristics can help them predict if the PPI medication will be effective for each patient. After probe removal, subjects will receive compensation. They will return to the clinic at their regularly scheduled follow-up visit with the physician, 8 to 12 weeks after starting the PPI medication. At that time, subjects can choose to participate in an optional probe placement.
NCT01738464
This research study seeks to provide more insight as to how the microbiome affects or is affected by conditions causing chronic pelvic pain such as Interstitial Cystitis (IC), Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CP/CPPS), Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS), or Overactive bladder (OAB). Depression and many chronic pain disorders are often related and are poorly understood, and treatment is often not helpful. The goal of this study is to explain pelvic pain characteristics and causes by studying microbiomes of healthy people compared to people suffering from IC, CP/CPPS, LUTS, OAB, and Major depression.
NCT05921149
Rates of grade 3-4 toxicity with carboplatin and paclitaxel chemotherapy range 26-84%. Interventions to reduce toxicity are needed. Short term fasting protects against toxic effects of chemotherapy without decreasing efficacy. In a prospective clinical trial of breast cancer patients randomized to FMD or regular diet during chemotherapy, less antiemetic was required in the FMD group; radiographic and pathologic responses were better in this group. This trial tests whether platinum-taxane chemotherapy combined with a FMD in advanced and recurrent ovarian, fallopian tube and primary peritoneal cancer patients is associated with decreased toxicity and/ or improved tumor response to therapy.
NCT04957758
The objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of OC-01 (varenicline) nasal spray as compared to placebo nasal spray for mean change from baseline in corneal fluorescein staining in subjects with Stage 1 (corneal epithelial hyperplasia/punctate keratopathy) neurotrophic keratopathy (NK) in one or both eyes.
NCT03597503
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of SPN-810 for the treatment of impulsive aggression (IA) in adolescents diagnosed with ADHD when taken in conjunction with standard ADHD treatment.
NCT03495154
A multi-center post-market single arm prospective study of Parietene™ DS Composite Mesh in subjects undergoing ventral hernia repair to confirm its clinical safety and performance in the short (1, 3 months), mid (12 months) and long term (24 months)
NCT05322473
This is a study to demonstrate the clinical efficacy and safety of the nanobody® sonelokimab administered subcutaneously (sc) compared with placebo in the treatment of adult participants with moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa.
NCT06397677
A study to identify patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis - Associated Interstitial Lung Disease (RA-ILD) that are at the highest risk for progression. The goal of the investigators is to recruit a group of patients with RA-ILD and collect information to help us understand more about disease progression. The investigators will do this using a combination of clinical, radiologic, and biologic features.
NCT04700449
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of CBP-307 in subjects with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (UC).
NCT04786990
This open label, flexible-dose study evaluating the safety and efficacy of SPN-812 administered with psychostimulants in children and adolescents (6 to 17 years of age) with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
NCT05859776
The goal of this clinical trial is to understand the safety of AXT107 injected suprachoroidally in participants with nAMD. The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: * Safety of the maximum tolerable dose of AXT107 * Bioactivity and duration of action of AXT107 injected suprachoroidally Participants will be injected with AXT107 and will be followed on a regular monitoring visits through 9 months post single injection.
NCT05580575
Comparison of wear experience with daily disposable and monthly replacement soft contact lenses in contact lens wearers who have astigmatism.
NCT06108024
The objective of the trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of SM-020 gel 1.0% in subjects with Seborrheic Keratosis (SK) compared to vehicle gel. It is a randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled trial. Approximately 60 subjects will be enrolled. Subjects will apply their assigned investigational product twice daily for 4 consecutive weeks. Subjects will be followed for 12-weeks post final application for a total of approximately 16-weeks of required participation in the study.
NCT04745234

NCT05757908
The goal of this interventional study is to compare at-home mobile spirometry to in-clinic spirometry in participants with moderate asthma while taking a long-acting beta agonist (LABA). The main questions it aims to answer are: * Do at-home mobile spirometry and in-clinic spirometry assessments show a similar treatment effect (measured changes in FEV1) with the addition of LABA? * Is at-home mobile spirometry as accurate as in-clinic spirometry in showing treatment effects (changes in FEV1)? Participants will be asked to: * Take standard of care LABA treatment once or twice a day * Complete at-home mobile spirometry testing twice a day * Complete asthma questionnaires twice a day * Complete device use questionnaires * Wear a wrist device (like a watch) to track physical activity and vital signs * Visit the clinic for in-clinic spirometry testing once a week for 8 weeks
