NCT02783651
A retrospective chart review study of Philadelphia chromosome-negative R/R ALL patients in the US.
NCT03263052
This study will investigate whether converting patients from FDA approved immediate-release tacrolimus to FDA approved extended release tacrolimus (Envarsus) reduces neurological side-effects, improves quality of life, and enhances adherence. A select group of elderly (\> 60 years of age) patients, who are especially sensitive to tacrolimus-related adverse (AEs) effects, will be provided the opportunity to convert to Envarsus with this study.
NCT02346019
The purpose of our study is to improve the fit and function of prosthetic sockets for above the knee amputees through the use of an outpatient thigh reduction surgical procedure.
NCT03876158
Flowonix Prometra® II Programmable Pump may require a smaller dose of drug when converting from other commercially available intrathecal drug delivery systems (IDDS).
NCT03403712
Multicenter, randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, parallel group, stratified study assessing the safety and describing the efficacy of a single dose of intravenous (IV) fosnetupitant/palonosetron (260 mg/0.25 mg) infusion \[test\] versus oral netupitant/palonosetron (300 mg/0.5 mg) combination \[control\]; each administered with oral dexamethasone prior to initial and repeated cycles of AC chemotherapy in female breast cancer patients.
NCT03088956
The objectives of the study are to; (1) estimate the change in disease -related cognitive decline over 1 year on a battery of cognitive tests administered to participants with early-stage symptomatic Behavioral Variant Frontotemporal Dementia (bvFTD) phenotypic variant; (2) identify the cognitive test or brief battery of cognitive tests which are the most sensitive to detect bvFTD progression; (3) determine the optimal schedule of administration of cognitive tests to detect bvFTD progression; (4) evaluate the relationship between cognitive tests and measures of behavior, function, caregiver's burden, quality of life (QOL); and (5) obtain blood samples for genetic and exploratory biomarkers correlations.
NCT03219320
To evaluate the efficacy of multiple dose levels of NYX-2925 versus placebo in treating the neuropathic pain associated with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.
NCT01790243
The primary objective of the LEVANT 2 Extended Follow-up Post-Approval Study (PAS 1) is to evaluate the long-term performance of the Lutonix Drug Coated Balloon (DCB) versus Percutaneous Transluminal Balloon Angioplasty (PTA) in the treatment of stenosis or occlusion of the femoropopliteal arteries.
NCT00904579
Background: * Solid organ transplantation provides life-saving treatment for end-stage organ disease but is associated with an increased cancer risk because of the need for long-term immunosuppression * End-stage renal disease (ESRD), the most common type of end-stage organ disease leading to transplant, is itself linked to increased risk for some cancers * The role of immunosuppression and other factors causing cancer in this setting are not fully understood. Objectives: * To characterize cancer risk in transplant recipients and identify risk factors. * To characterize risk for transmission of cancer from organ donors to recipients. * To describe cancer risk in ESRD. Eligibility: Patients are not required for this study. Data are gathered from existing databases of ESRD patients, organ transplant patients and cancer registries. Design: * Databases of 1) U.S. transplant recipients, donors and wait list candidates and 2) U.S. ESRD patients will be linked to multiple U.S. cancer registries to identify cancers in transplant recipients and ESRD patients. * The spectrum of cancer risk in transplant recipients and ESRD patients will be evaluated in detail. * The cancer risk in transplant recipients will be examined in relation to whether the donors had cancer. * The proposed cancer risk factors (e.g., underlying medical condition, infection with cancer-causing viruses, immunosuppressive medications) documented in transplant and ESRD files will be studied for association with increased risk of particular types of cancer.
NCT01628523
Despite its life-saving potential, the mechanical ventilator has great potential to do harm. Despite years of research, the mortality in acute lung injury (ALI) remains very high. Treatment options after ALI onset are very limited, therefore prevention may be the best option. Unfortunately, the emergency department has not been studied with respect to mechanical ventilation practices, and its contribution to ALI is unknown. The investigators hypothesize that mechanical ventilation is frequently used in the ED and for a variety of reasons, and that ED mechanical ventilation has an effect on long term outcomes.
NCT00874614
This clinical trial is designed to evaluate the effectiveness and collect additional safety information on AZEDRA® (iobenguane I 131) for the treatment of metastatic or relapsed/refractory (to other treatment) or unresectable pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma. The purpose of this trial is to test the use of AZEDRA® as a treatment for pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma, a rare disease. This Phase II study will help determine primarily if using the drug reduces the amount of blood pressure medication being taken as a result of the cancer and secondarily to determine such things as the effectiveness of the study drug in treating the cancer, additional safety measures, and to assess if the drug helps the quality of life and use of pain medication. All subjects will receive an imaging dose with scans followed by two therapeutic doses given approximately 3 months apart.
NCT03500198
An investigational IOL designed to provide improved intermediate and near visual acuity and decreased spectacle wear was evaluated for safety and effectiveness in a six-month study.
NCT02614287
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the longer term safety of the study drug known as galcanezumab in participants with episodic or chronic migraine.
NCT02297581
The study will assess patients with at least one major AE related to treatment / hospitalization / immobilization in the Geriatric Fracture Center (GFC) group compared to the usual care group.
NCT02138747
The purpose of this study was to assess tolerability of mirabegron compared to tolterodine ER in the treatment of participants with symptoms of Overactive Bladder (OAB) as well as the impact of treatment on micturition frequency and incontinence episodes.
NCT02826772
This was a Phase 1, multicenter, open-label, clinical trial in adult subjects with metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer who progressed after both hormonal therapy (abiraterone or enzalutamide) and chemotherapy (docetaxel), or cannot tolerate either or both therapies. The study involved a Phase 1 dose escalation of oral GT0918 to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
NCT03489408

NCT02608034
This is a two-part, Phase 1, open-label, multicenter, two-period, one-sequence study to investigate the effect of itraconazole and rifampin on the PK of vemurafenib following multiple 960 milligrams (mg) twice daily (BID) dosing in adult participants with unresectable Stage IIIC or Stage IV metastatic melanoma positive for the BRAF V600 mutation, or other malignant tumor types that harbor a V600-activating mutation of BRAF where the participant has no acceptable standard treatment options.
